And to think, they had a perfectly good glass bowl to begin with
Exactly.
I don't get it either, why not just put some plastic foil into the glass bowl so the epoxy comes out easily without destroying the glass bowl.
@@mynoxx01 cos that would ruin the texture, I agree in not wasting stuff that can still be used but hey, it's his money and as long as he's recycling I don't care how he uses em lol
@@DistinguishedBread what I meant is it doesn't matter since he is grinding the surface down anyway.
Haha pointless
Oh yes, destroying the bowl to create the bowl, the circle of life
Destroying a glass bowl to make a plastic one, no less.
"I destroyed the bowl to create the bowl."
It was filled with bpa's and needed to be destroyed and rebuilt, kinda like what a black hole does with energy not strong enough to escape it.
@@veronicaurbanski5341 it was a plastic bowl, you can tell by the way it broke, even if stuck on epoxy resin.
хээ
I am amazed at both the craftsmanship and the ridiculousness of this.
Yes. The amount of work is kind of insane. If someone wanted to make and sell these things done in these way, they would need to charge like $500-$1000.
The most amazing thing about this video is the amount of fingers you still have with how you operate a band saw...
And how they still have lungs when using epoxy without respiratory protection......
@@urahihChalottehow you can say that? It's not seen in the video. And furthermore I wouldn't say it's so necessary. Bit I would certainly wear gloves with the saw
Was thinking about the sawing too
You all sound very inexperienced with band saws
@@grantavakjan9488 it’s dangerous to wear gloves with saws and lathes. It can easily get snagged and pull your hand in.

The most eco UNFRIENDLY crafts I have seen in a while!!

Who cares. Lot more eco friendly than disposing of e.v. batteries or used windmill blades.
@@northernprepper6981 cant forget about upgrading your phone every year or 2.
Please excuse me if I've missed where you may have addressed this elsewhere, but have you found uses for the shavings? It might be a good subject for a future video: Making something from the shavings.
Guarantee it all just goes up in a vacuum and into the trash.
the amount of material wasted on these projects is kinda bonkers to me lol
Despite destroying the glass bowl 🥣.
Lovely looking paper bowl in beautiful colours ❤❤❤
Your work is outstanding!
Just a side note- people need to be aware that resin/epoxy handmade items are not food-grade or safe to eat out of. Not being critical, just don't want anyone to get sick.
Otherwise, fantastic video~ You're obviously extremely talented!
After all that!!! And it's not even food safe...
Microplastics, yum yum
The other 2 were fine, but the steel wool jar with the golden epoxy was absolutely hideous XD
And yeah, very strange to put (at best guess) dyed mini pancakes into a bowl that isnt food safe.
There is a food safe glaze added to the top....
Would it be okay just to use as a fruit bowl?
I love how awesome everything came out but man the amount of small plastics flying around was driving me crazy. It's like I could feel the micro plastics from here lol

@@h0rk3d thanks Google
I agree. The current obsession with resin has consequences. Add glitter and mica into the mix and a single piece is about as negative for the environment, sea life and ghastly child labour as a single household object gets.
It's just unsustainable.
I think it produces tóxic waste, it's waste of work and material, in addition to garbage, damage to health and enviroment.
Yea. This guy made waste out of best. But that's the sad reality. The definition of entertainment has changed. It now involves wastage of food, creation of waste and degradation of mentality of people.

Absolutely awesome! But man clearing all those micro plastics must have been a real pain…
SO MUCH PLASTIC 😐
This is not art at all, there is no skill and discipline to achieve something wonderful, it is just throwing plastic and letting the drill and cutter do their thing.
Wait I thought epoxies couldn't be used on surfaces that could contact foods cos you'd eventually start consuming something in the epoxy/resin?
Yes, but you could eat out of the bowl he destroyed to get the new one...
You’re correct.
The last one was so beautiful...he has a lots of patience for doing that 🔥🔥
The satisfaction comes from watching the process unfold. And knowing I'll never have to make one. Fabulous to watch👍🏻
Завораживающее зрелище,такое мастерство...!!!Одним словом, мастер на все руки...!!!Так интересно было смотреть, как создаëтся такая красота!!!
Просто здорово и прекрасно...!!!
Some people are so creative! That bowl is too beautiful to use for food! It’s unlike any other. Ty for sharing.
Just a prototype for a cheaper Chinese plastic version.
So simple... and no nasty mess to clean up! 👍
Yeah
And always used a similar material. Boring.
Resin wood turning, the resin is really nasty to clean up
@@rebeccaconlon9743 I was being sarcastic. The YT channel name is "Totally Handy"... nothing in the video is handy to have, perform nor clean up!

Could one make this process be more environmentally friendly while still getting the same cool result?
The person who made the lamp was truly artistic
@@Mr.Gothic You can literally see two different guys in this video. These projects were all made by different people.
I love the bowl. It reminds me of those colorful old fashioned licorice candies
Yesss that's what came to my mind as well!! Imagine how cool it would look if he filled the bowl with those licorice all-sorts candies. 😍
Liquorice Allsorts
SERIOUSLY…. This Resin bowl is off the chain….. Everything you created on here is stunning! If only I had the skills & tools…. Hand made items can be stunning, yet this next level!

This is art my friend. For all who may complain regarding whether it’s a waste of material or product, it’s the craft and artistic process itself which draws us all and to appreciate it
Exactly. I think they miss the point and just want to troll.

Какие фантастические работы невероятной красоты! Это потрясающе!!! Браво мастерам!!!
как завороженная смотрела
Много труда и проессионализма, хвала мастеру❤Но вещь бесполезная и красоты в ней нет.
Those shavings in the yellow one are **dangerous**… I’d recommend putting up warnings for those who might be trying it themselves.

Трудоёмкое и не безопасное изготовление изделия. Но зрелищно, и в итоге, красиво.
That bowl was awesome
agreed, the bowl turned out better than i thought it would... it was pretty interesting-looking, though could've been better after a few tries, i think...
Man, that bowl is gorgeous!
I must admit I was questioning the epoxy but the final product is amazing
Anything in epoxy resin makes art 🥱
Exactly. Everyone is an artist now. Especially the guys that make galaxies with spray paint. Such masters of their crafts 🤣
Yeah, yet another multi colored bowl. 🙄
Yes all its art, even a woman even a dog its art...
Art is creating something with your skills, with your talent, with your passion, something that shows the world what you feel and can transmit in what your art captures.
The skill, the intelligence and the imagination displayed in the designing and creation of these is phenomenal. 👏👏👏
It is oddly relaxing watching skilled craftsmen turn ordinary everyday items into beautiful works of art. I should be so creative and skilled! That's about all...
Rest in peace, round wood piece
So much skill and creativity leaves me speechless! 👌
Great artist 😃👏👏👏
No doubt
Delight!
You can't do this at home, but how cool are the ideas! It's incredible what talented people can come up with!
You can, but it's going to be really really messy lol
@@crowdemon_archives That's for sure.
I would like to see More of this stuff. I'm taking notes. When you said I don't do things beautifully enough, I believed you, and I'm hoping for a class. This was riveting. I can't get over it. It's useless, tedious, and extremely difficult for no reason. It seems like it can get more complicated. I like it. I can't get enough of it, just like fake wood. Oh my gosh that was hard, why did I do it!? And yet, so worth it. No one who likes wood wants fake wood, and now the grain is custom and artesian. I got to keep it for like maybe 1-3 years, which is good for a rockstar.
The steel wool one I liked the look of less than I thought I would.
The cardboard one at the end turned out way better than I thought it would tho.
Excellent work. Thank you for sharing
Well that was reeeeal smooth sacrificing a fine bowl to make another
Wow! The bowl is exquisite.
destroyed a good glass bowl and good wood and made a paper bowl. Great man!
Wow, it’s amazing what people think up and follow through on! Amazing idea.
He destroyed one bowl to make another….super genius! I suppose I’m not an art lover 😢
yeah, corn starch or any form of release agent would have helped getting it off...
It was a $2 bowl big deal
@@XXXCRSPLit was a waste, and I doubt a bowl like that costs $2 in this economy. Stop being so privileged.
So much of waste generated too

I agree with you, indeed he’s got talent, I mean real talent, I pray God gives you lots of beautiful days, I’m David Greg originally from Spain, but currently in Texas and you?
thats so freaking cool lol, tbf tho, any thing looks awesome with Resin
It is the3rd video I am watching (and I think it is a repeat under a different title) but I still cannot believe my eyes!!! I wish my family owned that kind of business, I would have taken over it at 500%. Since I am out of luck, I wish I worked for that kind of company... This would be my dream job ever!
I love love this cut. I used to wear my hair like that all the time. I'm gonna send this photo to my stylist and get it done again, thank you much.❤❤❤❤❤
beautiful, and above all easy to do with simple household tools ...
Wow! You are extremely talented and your works of art are amazingly beautiful!

How beautiful! Such incredible craftsmanship and talent! ❤
Спасибо за три отличные идеи. Вдохновения Вам и новых, таких же стильных, экспериментов!
So amazing! The skills and the results are awesome. Plus to create these ideas in your brains in the first place, respect.
I would love to have a shop setup like yours!
I don't know how or why I'm here but I loved watching this!
That's the most beautiful bowl I've ever seen. Great job.
Yes but you cant actually put eating items in it unless you dont wanna get sick, it does look great but the bowl he destroyed to get this was actually more useful that the new one
I agree with you, indeed he’s got talent, I mean real talent, I pray God gives you lots of beautiful days, I’m David Greg originally from Spain, but currently in Texas and you?
O cara é muito bom!
Trabalho maravilhoso!!!
I AM IN LOVE WITH THAT BOWL!!!!!!
In order to create a new "fancy" bowl you need:
- destroy an actually useable bowl
- waste a chunk of wood
- waste papar
Love it!
It's not about the bowl itself or it being a "fancy" bowl for the sake of being fancy, it's about the art of it.
IT'S PAPER.
This is so painfully, embarrassingly uncultured "hot take" on a piece of art.
In a world where people are allowed to own property, they are allowed to use their bowls, paper and wood as they see fit.
Pray that the communists never come to your country to take control of your use of your own property.
As beautiful as this is, I can’t shake the feeling that this is probably not eco friendly at all. All that shaved airborne plastic looked pretty sinister! Lol
Completely agree. Its super wasteful and awful for the environment. Pretty of course, but not something people should do in general
do you use lithium batteries for anything? because if you are you are helping to do more damage then resin ever will. do you know how they get lithium? they mine it and it has been scientifically proven that lithium mining is the #1 most product that is destroying the earth. so don't get all sanctimonious
They can use that shavings for a different project as well.
That lamp looks so freaking good, the bowls too but the lamp takes the cake for me.
Amazing projects. You have next-level artistry.
Absolutely beautiful work! Thank you for sharing!
Beautiful bowl! Thank you.
A true work of art!
Обалдеть, молодцы!!!
Trabalhoso mas o resultado é fantástico . Achei lindíssimo . Quero um 😔
Завораживающее зрелище!!! ❤️1000👍
These are the types of videos you just watch without commenting
Love the effects you come up with. Probably too labor intensive for me, but that’s just me. One question, were you using carbide tools with the stainless steel scrubbing pads? I don’t know how you wouldn’t wreck your tools if not.
Muito lindo sua obra de arte 👍👏👏👏👏🇧🇷
I don’t WANT the first of all, I NEED it!!! Gorgeous! 😍
Come for the epoxy project, stay for the chill music
"Ahhh yes let me make a bowl out of another bowl to just break the bowl so I can replace a perfectly good one with one that I made "
You surely don't understand art. Since you know bowls so well, go get me some cereal.
@@lukeknowles5700 ahhhh yes cereal with a bowl a wonderful work of art
I loved the actual project and tbe end result👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 But too many of our resources and power were wasted. A simple painted plastic bowl to this effect would have been more eco-friendly in this age and troubled times... 🙏
That lamp was stunning!
That bowl is absolutely out of this world!
In terms of "wasting other materials" I'm confused as to why a glass bowl was used.. why not use heavy duty Tupperware (or something similar) with some mold release? Couple taps with a hammer and you're good to go. Beautiful piece, love watching videos like this. First time I've ever seen use of a glass bowl though..
Looks like a 19 dollar bowl
Cost 250 dollars in time, materials, tools, gas mask filters, etc
Loving this. Your equipments too are are highly sophisticated, design plan excellent. Wow enjoy working.
Wow!! So relaxing to watch! Especially with the soothing music in the background. I need that lamp! It's so my style. 🥰
Очень красиво,но еду в такую посуду опасно класть .... эпоксидная смола ядовита
Your imagination is commendable, and the spinny bits are kinda fun to watch, but I have to admit... My brain was struggling so much to sit through the following:
- a wet pile of papers from which 1 sheet slipped off
- a form that wasn't shaped like a circle or a teardrop or anything that could make sense in my head
- those. cuts.
- the chunk of wood that just. stayed there
- the way the chopped blocks were placed inside a bowl without any order that would showcase their funky layers properly
- opaque goop that would definitely cover the colors???
- the fact the outer bowl could only be removed by _CRACKING_ it and it was made of glass 😭😭😭
- peelies piling up everywhere oh my god
- after the bowl was done spinning, the colors obviously wouldn't stay uniform
For some reason, after the shock of the first, the later two weren't hard to watch. Brains are weird little guys
And not to add how AMAZING this music is!!!! Great job!!!
Absolutely gorgeous! ❤️
No offense, because this is actually really awesome, but I can't get over the breaking of the glass bowl... Such a waste. There must be less wasteful ways of making these sort of things

You used a bowl to make a bowl. Then you destroyed one of them.
