Courtnay Maria fucking Brink does go hard... i just her emotion in every note she hits...lucky me get to see her and ITM and Papa and the crew for my birthday party in September...
+The Frenching Fry It came across as good but after listening to the whole thing I realized it lacks something in terms of depth. This video doesn't help- the scenery is awkward, or dull at best. Featuremania here to stay, it seems... Another cliché to cut straight in through. The lyrics look like something I would conjure up over a night too lighthearted - disjointed, and soulless somehow. If you read them, you realize that it's all about "was", not what he in fact "is" - probably this is why our author's message does not emerge clearly enough, unless you want to cite a lack of skill. Don't know about you, but I would scrap it. This type of music lacks perforation to me.
+Encephalych Dementium that's your opinion. I love it because it started out solemn and depressing. But when the main chorus starts and the scene with the band surrounded by the lights, it protracted a feeling of hope and rebirth. Then the seen with Maria Brink speaking kind of describes their "tough love" (I couldn't think of a better way to word that) I just feel like this song is kind of papa roach's recovery from his depression in a way.
+The Frenching Fry I am glad to hear that atleast someone could appreciate it. I like it when people open up and try to describe why they feel; makes me able to respect rather than revolt against the opinion. Too much of what we say is meaningless these days...
So many people hating on Maria, and wondering why people are focusing positively on her. if you've been a fan since the beginning and listen to her songs then you'll know she's a badass, talented artist, that never does vocals like this. It's pretty cool to see her alter her talents for a song like this. AND on a completely biased not, she's sexy as fuck and you're crazy if you don't think so
Everyone dissing Maria Brink she has this voice that is so unique to herself and her own band "in this moment" than any other female rock musician. Also realise she is 40 years old singing rock music like this

Papa Roach, Shinedown...many others that tour with them..GO OUT TO WATCH THEM PERFORM before they hit the stage because "In This Moment" is a kick ass band, and Maria Brink is amazing. Did I really need to say this or does the fact that she is in a PRoach video speak for itself?
5 years later, im relistening to this song after a breakup of a 6 year relationship. Do not waste a single moment, you may not get another chance to say you are sorry. Life has a way of ripping that closure away from you if you wait too long. Get help if you need it, people will love you more for admitting your faults than denying your problems.
Damn man! I really can understand what you mean, I almost went through this and good thing I travelled to surprise her and fix everything, most importantly, went to day sorry and accept all my faults, we been together 15 years.
I cried reading this comment. It hits home. My fiance of 7 years and my kids father died while we were split up but we both still loved each other. We said and did some horrible things and although I apologized to him on his death bed, it didnt feel like it was enough. So i agree. In the midst of all the arguing, fights, you think you have time to make it right...but sometimes you dont get that chance. So make it right while you still do.
Don't know how anyone can hate Maria the woman is flawless, fearless, and totally amazing, in this moment live are so amazing to watch, Jacob's voice when he sings is very underrated too personally I think they are both absolutely amazing.

She’s average at best. She can’t sing live anymore. I used to be a big fan but not only is she a fake person and a hypocrite, but she can’t sing and even her lyrics are repetitive/recycled. A lot of people think she’s the force behind ITM but it’s actually Chris-she takes all the credit.
No idea how people don't feel this song. I would like to think everyone can imagine the loss of a loved one. I hope I am the only one, but I know I am not. LOVE THIS SONG.
Her voice doesn't suck people, she sang it that way on purpose. She was representing a heartbroken lover that was yelling through her emotions. She was trying to sound as if she is speaking between tears.

omg I can believe that so much people hate Maria's voice in this song. Lyrics: I was there on the day truth died Blood on my hands throw 'em up in the sky I was the number one sinner, no less My life was a lie, and my wish was a death I fell in love with the ways of the world Money, the fame, the booze, the girls But I couldn't stay faithful, if I've tried I turned in to a devil, you could see it in my eyes I blacked out, told everything I ever did I couldn't take all the lies I was living with I broke your heart, woke up the next day My bags outside, yelling, "Get the hell away! You're not a husband, not a father, just a pig And you can't never change all the things that you did!" That's when I knew it, it wouldn't last You never get away, when you're running from the past I will fly into outer space I float away, but you're my gravity I will die to love another day We rise again and lose our gravity I'm a broken man, I'm full of sin I'm sick of all this hell that I'm living in And I can't escape it, this is how it feels When you try to numb the pain with a thousand pills You tore me down, wished that I was dead Said you wanna sleep alone in another bed But when I push away, you only pull me closer It's only over when we both wanna say it's over I gotta change this is not who I am I wanna start over wanna try this again You're everything I need, everything I'm not So pull the trigger, give me one more shot I will fly into outer space I float away, but you're my gravity I will die to love another day We rise again and lose our gravity You love me, you hate me, you kiss me, you break me You lifted me up just to watch as you broke me You promised me, looked me straight in the eyes No matter what you say, I don't know truth from the lies I helped you up, like I always do I forgave you for your sins and I carried you through them No matter how hard we fought, we always knew You will bleed for me, and I will bleed for you Fly into outer space I float away, but you're my gravity Die to love another day We rise again and lose our gravity I will fly into outer space I float away, but you're my gravity I will die to love another day We rise again and lose our gravity I will fly into outer space I float away, but you're my gravity I will die to love another day We rise again and lose our gravity Baby, we can float away

Certain singers just have the ability to transport you into the song and it's breathtaking.
Lyrics:
I was there on the day truth died
Blood on my hands throw 'em up in the sky
I was the number one sinner, no less
My life was a lie, and my wish was a death
I fell in love with the ways of the world
Money, the fame, the booze, the girls
But I couldn't stay faithful, if I've tried
I turned in to a devil, you could see it in my eyes
I blacked out, told everything I ever did
I couldn't take all the lies I was living with
I broke your heart, woke up the next day
My bags outside, yelling, "Get the hell away!
You're not a husband, not a father, just a pig
And you can't never change all the things that you did!"
That's when I knew it, it wouldn't last
You never get away, when you're running from the past
I will fly into outer space
I float away, but you're my gravity
I will die to love another day
We rise again and lose our gravity
I'm a broken man, I'm full of sin
I'm sick of all this hell that I'm living in
And I can't escape it, this is how it feels
When you try to numb the pain with a thousand pills
You tore me down, wished that I was dead
Said you wanna sleep alone in another bed
But when I push away, you only pull me closer
It's only over when we both wanna say it's over
I gotta change this is not who I am
I wanna start over wanna try this again
You're everything I need, everything I'm not
So pull the trigger, give me one more shot
I will fly into outer space
I float away, but you're my gravity
I will die to love another day
We rise again and lose our gravity
You love me, you hate me, you kiss me, you break me
You lifted me up just to watch as you broke me
You promised me, looked me straight in the eyes
No matter what you say, I don't know truth from the lies
I helped you up, like I always do
I forgave you for your sins and I carried you through them
No matter how hard we fought, we always knew
You will bleed for me, and I will bleed for you
Fly into outer space
I float away, but you're my gravity
Die to love another day
We rise again and lose our gravity
I will fly into outer space
I float away, but you're my gravity
I will die to love another day
We rise again and lose our gravity
I will fly into outer space
I float away, but you're my gravity
I will die to love another day
We rise again and lose our gravity
Baby, we can float away

You ever hear a song that makes you cry but you can’t stop listening to it? This song. This is the song.

Idk what ppl are talking about, I actually love Maria’s voice. It fits the song perfectly and this whole video is just... amazing💝
this song has been around for about 7 years and still is great
Maria Brink is a phenomenal talent and voice. Even live! Love this song. ... Love In this Moment💋
I love Papa Roach, but Maria Brink really makes this song hit hard!❤
This is so good but you must hear “Whispering Wolf” or “Live Not Survive” by SLT 🤘🎶🐺
*Maria's voice is on fire.*
yes it absolutely is. just burning in the bad way.
watched them in colo springs is was so super dope. they have a spectacular band energy.
same haha. Papa Roach put on such a great performance
+cory crow Totally agree! I've had the privilege of seeing them in concert 5 times in Iowa over the last 10 years. It was fun each time!
+cory crow I was at that concert too. Took my step-son cuz my wife didn't get the day off. It was an awesome show. I thought it was funny when Ivan said the wrong city (he said Denver, not Colo Springs) from backstage before the show started. lol
+cory crow I got to see them with Godsmack, Slash, and Seethe at the Rise Above Fest, It was fucking great
Great concert!! Papa Roach killed it. Went with my brother but didn't see much of him after the wall of death!!! Rocked so hard they killed the power
Maria and papa roach should make more songs together
Agreed
This is another one of those songs that are in my top songs. I listened to this alot when my ex broke up with me. I still listen to it this day, always makes me think.
Hope u can heal ..
Maria is incredible
It's heartsickening when you have been through what they're talking about...
Very much so.
I belive you!
All shaddix's songs are heart nails
Maria Brink is 😍😍😍😍😍😍
33 y old. Starting to truly appreciate you after 20 years of being aware. Scars and Last Resort been with me since their releasing but lately been rocking with this one and Falling Apart.
God I love Papa Roach and In This Moment so much. Seen them both in concert, and when I found out they did a song together (late, I know!) I almost lost it. Love this so much!
I was supposed to see them in concert but cuz of the quarentine I just can't ;-;''
Famille Berisset I feel! I was supposed to see Papa Roach again this summer but it’s also cancelled.
I didn't expect Papa Roach to put out something this good.
see their new stuff, hitted me hard with nostalgia
Boooyyyy
I can't bring myself to listen to their other music because it has that metalcore sound. It gets under my skin. Not the kind of sound I want to listen to when I think of metal.
Josh Keul cuz this songs basically about addiction and hes been through it. We all have that one thing that grounds us in the song its about her, and to her hes also her gravity.
maria is so fucking stunning!!! her curves kill me! saw her in concert and she is just amazing!!! true skill. their voices compliment each other very well! and she loves them wings since she has them everywhere xD
i like how he brought back the classic singing into a lightbulb thing. never let the past be forgotten, keep the lightbulbs coming.
maria's voice gives me fucking goosebumps♥
Shes a goddess
Saw this live at Sonic Temple 2019. Maria had already played her set with In This Moment, and when Papa Roach played this, he had Maria come on stage for it. It was AMAZING
Domanick Milam yes it was❤️ I was there too I can attest to just how amazing it truly was.
2020 anyone still listening??
Nick Carver 🤘🎶yes in France!
Once a week at least
My Jam on my way to work 💪🏻🔥
Always! Tattoed the lyric😏🤣❤
still shake my head about the fucked up Part from the Blondie at 2:30 where she nearly lost her Voice in the endpart XD
The chorus with these two is my favorite part of this one
She gives me chills
I would die if had to sing her part, my throat would be hurting lmao
Maria brink I’m in love with her voice you can just feel her emotions and passion when she sings beautiful always gives me goose bumps every single time I hear her voice
