I discovered this song 7 yrs after the launch. Just in time, getting out of my 6 years depression. Im sure there's more People who needs this song in their lives 🤟🏻
This video has many messages. The bunny is a sad man who feels his life is bad and needs something to save him, but it only keeps getting worse and he has no control over it.
mike poma He tries to be himself, but he doesn't fit what everyone else defines as "normal" so he's treated like a freak and feels like an outcast. But in the end he meets someone else like him, so he knows he's not alone in his pain and there's other people who can help and who will accept him for who he is
Personally I think of it a bit differently. I see it as someone who made lot's of bad choices as a younger man, such as marrying the wrong person, never getting a steady job, not taking care of himself, etc. Wht We se is him paying for that as an adult, and him wanting it all to go back. But he can't go back. He can't "pretend he's been through hell" since it's only because of himself and no one else that his life is like this. But through all of this, the bad choices, the regret. he finds someone like him, who as still able to turn his life around, to find a way to make it better.
relax. music is suppose to be a lighter approach to issues. Why do some people take music to the political extreme. music for me is a way to enjoy a sad satire of the tools that make life harder on regular people. you know us 99%. The elite are not bothered by what we think. They are probably happy that people are distracted by arguing over what the artist really meant by such tricky lyrics. It takes our focus off them so they can go on blatantly and criminally taking from us. We the public are so blind to what cops, lawyers, politicians, and huge corporations, such as drug companies, are manipulating the way we live and die. There are cures and successfull treatments in other countries for many of the diseases we as people have to live with. American pharmaceutical companies are not worried about us being healthy. They would rather treat drug side affects with more drugs. Do a little research on this topic and realise how criminal and unethical these greedy pharmaceutical companies are. They even block us as Americans from getting better treatment here by not approving these methods or illegalizing whatever they're lobbyist want them to. Growth hormones, Steroids, and other forms of supplements to make us healthier, bigger, faster and stronger are illegal. I think these are substances that we as Americans should have the choice as free thinkers and the one responsible for my health. And yet they won't let us choose. It's. because we wouldn't be as likely to need their drugs if we were aloud to supplement our youthfulness . Most steroids act as super healers. And are Drs. do use them for some things our bodies can't get rid of on its own like poison ivy. Anyway I'm going a bit too deep. Look it up people we are the most informed we as people have ever been. Yet we don't care. France opened its borders to American refugees. They feel sorry for us. We don t deserve to lose our rights. We the people. Educate yourselves so that you can enjoy your music for what it is. Information in a creative way. Rage against the machine got deep into telling the government's secrets in a way that was aggressively warning us just how ruthless they are. Never once did I feel offended by the lyrics, I actually felt like I was included in the message they delivered. We are all being lead by the 1% to only be able to make them richer and more powerful. They don't allow us the choice to use a better product or method. That isn't freedom. The founding fathers of this county would proclaim independence against our present government and wonder what the he'll happen to our will to make laws in a way we can completely benefit from our choices. It's only a matter of time before tyranny forces us back into the way it was in the past. And with technology as good as it is we won't be able to do anything about it. I personally want better health so I can live life to it's fullest until the day I die. Peace people. Venting felt good.
It's a good song. I feel like Papa Roach is consistent with good songs. If you like them you might also like this new band "The Plague Danger" take a listen!
There are many days where I honestly just scream the lyrics to the chorus out. I suffer from really bad anxiety, possible depression, and I am a high functioning autistic so I have issues with obsession and over fixating on things. I go to therapy and I take medication to get better but, man, there are days where it all just becomes to much and I scream those lyrics out.
If you can outsmart yourself you can defeat depression. The thoughts aren't the demon that haunts you. It's the feeling the thoughts are creating that is the demon.
I was at the hospital with my kids mother. She had just had brain surgery a week prior. The doctors and nurses busted in the room at 3 am. Said they had to do a spinal fluid collection, and it had to be now. It had been a harrowing experience for her , for all of us. But the doctors busted in the room and within minutes we were in another room and they were trying to collect spinal fluid. As you can imagine. It was fun for her at all. I opened my phone , and the last song I had listened to , was a Papa Roach song. ( Last resort ) . I played that song over and over and over for how ever long they took to get what they needed from the spine. Ever since then , my love for Papa Roach has been cemented in my brain and I'll always remember that song and how it helped her thru a sh&$#y thing. Thanks to Papa Roach for being amazing
My mind, every day: *I don't know why you're getting up, you got nowhere to go* This song helps me continue every day and not just put an end in my life
Dont check out! As dark as it gets.. there is always light. It might be a pin prick that you dont want to see or can barely see! Dont give up! We can get through it!
is this what happens with washed out punk bands from the 00's? Hanging on to the last vestiges of their fanbase by trying to stay relevant with easy listening, indie-pop inspired hooks and generic lyrics about struggling in a post-2008 economy. Oh well. Have a thumbs up, pal - I agree.
At about 2:11 when he's walking through the park and ALMOST begins to cry, that was accurate. You'll be doing just fine one day, and then out of nowhere it just surges up into your chest and stops you in your tracks. Glad they addressed this, keep doing your thing Papa Roach!
Damn I wish I could like this comment 1000 times. I can relate to this so much it’s scary. It’s so bad that it leaves me thinking that on one hand, I actually think I need help and I’m actually concerned about my mental health, and on the other hand, it happens so much I wonder if I’m just being a pussy, breaking down over literally nothing because I can’t hold my own because I’m week. I’m just not sure what I am anymore. Everyone says I’m strong, but I just feel so weak all the time. I want to cry for help, but I’ve already tried that and no one believes me. I want to tell my school counselor but I'm afraid I'll get kicked out of school even though I'm not self harming or abusing substances, but you know, just and case. But, I feel like I need to tell someone, not directly school or family related, just someone who is a professional Doctor/therapist who my parents and family members can trust and believe. I just need someone's help.
I was walking on the street one day and a little boy came up to me with a bat. Before that shitty stain beat me, I instantly grabbed his bat and gave a tight slap
I can't even say how much I love this song, literally brought tears to my eyes. There is a bit of anger too, because I love Papa Roach and I wasn't aware that this song came out. With all of the crappy music being shoved down our throats these days, its infuriating that the artists I grew up listening to get no promotion at all. Wow this song, get me in the feels!
It's sad, I call myself a fan if this even even though I just now literally found the name of this song. I do agree with the crappy music being shoved down our throats too.
I think I need help I'm drowning in myself Did someone turn the lights out Or is it just another dark cloud in my head? One of the greatest bands ever. And I'm a 58 year old metal head. Only posts that bother me is any song any band. Someone who still listening in 2024? Anyone with taste stupid.
There's a great line in this song, well there's several, but the one I'm talking about is "I can't pretend that I ain't been through hell." Too many of us minimize our trauma and what we've gone through because we see people who we feel have had it much worse. But the truth is, it's not a competition. Just because someone went through something absolutely horrific, that does not mean that what you went through was any less damaging. Give yourself permission to acknowledge what you've been through.

mike poma He tries to be himself, but he doesn't fit what everyone else defines as "normal" so he's treated like a freak and feels like an outcast.
Ehansen1170 what the fuck are you on about you delusional fuck. Do you have schizophrenia?
Been listening to yall for 20 years. Thank you for doing what youve done. Youve helped me through so much.

We all need help in 2020
When you move to a new city:
"I think I need Yelp!"
llo100 I can see that being a Weird Al song.
llo100 ]😂
The bunny looks like jesse's friend in breaking bad
Mort Bleize Badger? Kinda..
Mort Bleize the singer looks like jesse himself
Beheil Fuuusion
Badger lmao
Skinny Pete
In the 00s this guy listened to Papa Roach to overcome his teen issues. Now, it´s time for midlife crises, and he needs help from this band again.
The second bunny made me tear up. "Get up man, you're not done."
I'm gonna get a bunny suit, set my alarm for 4pm, wake up and go to the bathroom and PRoach better damn well b standing behind me!
Regina Fallangie lets hope
But it better be sunny otherwise won't work 🤔
ha
good idea !!!
Made it but im not married
I love this song, can't see why it doesn't have more views yet
It's a good song. I feel like Papa Roach is consistent with good songs. If you like them you might also like this new band "The Plague Danger" take a listen!
Dylan Kennedy good but nothing special
Despacito is reason
There are many days where I honestly just scream the lyrics to the chorus out. I suffer from really bad anxiety, possible depression, and I am a high functioning autistic so I have issues with obsession and over fixating on things. I go to therapy and I take medication to get better but, man, there are days where it all just becomes to much and I scream those lyrics out.
I seen one of his concerts in Okinawa japan and was like he poured his heart and soul into this song.
Semper Fi , Killa!
Damn truue
Does anyone remember the show on MTV that he did? Scarred was awesome.
And now it's time for..THE MOST F***ED UP CLIP UP THE DAY
That was him?
zortixanxus Yeah. Back when Papa Roach was really popular in the 2000s and he had the emo look lol
ten years ago already!
Damn I didn't know that was him, I remember me and my best friend would get up early to sneak out and watch it, we were 6
In a world of bands that are only releasing crappy pop music this is a breath of fresh air.
I agree, I really like the whole record. If you like Papa Roach you might also like this new band "The Plague Danger" check them out!
Science112095 yep
Science112095 Red Hot Chilli Peppers released a decent album last year
I love the linkinsmokers
you realize that this is extremely poppy right?
That bunny is my spirit animal
The therapeutic value of one drowning bunnyman helping another drowning bunnyman is without parallel...
Me: *listens to song*
Wow this song is amazing! What's the video like?
*Watches video* oh.
Hahahah.. yup
Ryan From Memescenterall for real....I love this song and I love the meaning behind it. But alright.
😂🙈
I didn't even realize they sang this song, idk why I didn't realize, so to finally see a video and know it's by them, and it be this.... Yeah.....😩
I was confused at first too and I have depression. There's sickening irony for you.
This happened to me
i'm drowning in my self
never noticed till now the drummer is pretending while they’re in the tub. Also the sign from Hell to help is a beautiful touch
If you can outsmart yourself you can defeat depression. The thoughts aren't the demon that haunts you. It's the feeling the thoughts are creating that is the demon.
And then, the two bunnies started Fight Club.
Buenomars lmfao
Why do you have a bunch of Hitler crap on your account?
No not you, the guy who posted this comment
Madison Raney oh ok, was a little confused
Warren Jay right
That made me jump when Jacoby popped up in the mirror lol. This is an amazing video
Dance me The Sun Best jumpscare ever xD
Haha, same but after 1 second I was so glad to see him haha
Dance me The Sun why are you using Alex dorame picture?
jalen Rose because Alex is amazing.
🥹❤️💯🪳
Drowning 20 years later and still going thru hell
My mind, every day: *I don't know why you're getting up, you got nowhere to go*
This song helps me continue every day and not just put an end in my life
Dont check out! As dark as it gets.. there is always light. It might be a pin prick that you dont want to see or can barely see! Dont give up! We can get through it!
Keep going forward it gets better 😊
U still here?!
Robert Straatman 🤣🤣
Just checking on you..
Have you found the light?
this is exactly what i thought a papa roach song would sound like in 2017
I just. IDK what happen.
is this what happens with washed out punk bands from the 00's? Hanging on to the last vestiges of their fanbase by trying to stay relevant with easy listening, indie-pop inspired hooks and generic lyrics about struggling in a post-2008 economy. Oh well. Have a thumbs up, pal - I agree.
@wustachemax Idk man, a lot of people enjoyed the song and it's message. I think that's what matters.
I showed my dad this song and he started crying
Ugh I can relate with this video
I hate it when little girls attack me with nunchucks for no reason.
I was walking on the street one day and a little boy came up to me with a bat.
Before that shitty stain beat me, I instantly grabbed his bat and gave a tight slap
why did I laugh so hard lel
Same it's so irritating
Ughhhhhhhhhhh me to it's the worse
Ikr
Another banger from my boy Jacoby. Can't ever go wrong with Papa Roach 🔥
Ricky López you can
This song is underrated, it should have at least 100 million views
It has on spotify
@@mggt4684 really?
@@alfonsocasillas1922 Yup. Exacly 113 158 151 views
so many songs of them are underrated....
I need help... I just "dont think" I need it. I really need one.
I saw this song live last year in Ohio the day after the album dropped. I was trying not to cry like a child. It was one of those wow moments
It's sad, I call myself a fan if this even even though I just now literally found the name of this song. I do agree with the crappy music being shoved down our throats too.
Can't disagree with that. I honestly completely forgot papa roach existed.
David K Williams III hell yeah!! Same!!
Listen to there new album they just sold out too😂
*runs out of milk and has emotional breakdown cause milk is life*
Chase Dangelo lol
Chase Dangelo that was the last straw, tipped hime over the edge .
Poor fella
Chase Dangelo 😂😂😂 this comment had me dying

Chase Dangelo lool
Please come to Ohio for a concert would love to see you guys😍
You are not the only listening to Papa Roach and I’m gonna get a little anxious around here.
Forreals tho I’ve blasted this maybe a time too many this year.
Here’s to 2020~
Happy 2020
Meanwhile in 2020... I think we need help.
How 2020 been treating u so far
From one stranger to another. Hope you’re doing alright. 2020 definitely hasn’t been especially great. Hang in there.
“Here’s to 2020” famous last words
I think I need help
I'm drowning in myself
Did someone turn the lights out
Or is it just another dark cloud in my head?
Cause I'm cut deep, my heart won't beat
Deep down low it's killing me
If I wanna scratch out yesterday
I've got so much I need to say
(I've got so much I need to say)
I think I need help
Cause I'm drowning in myself
It's sinking in, I can't pretend
That I ain't been through hell
I think I need help
I'm drowning in myself
They're preying on my weakness
Believe it
I'm thinking to myself "No not again"
And I won't keep listening
When temptations creeping in
If I wanna make it another day
I've got so much I need to say
(I've got so much I need to say)
I think I need help
Cause I'm drowning in myself
It's sinking in, I can't pretend
That I ain't been through hell
I think I need help
I'm drowning in myself
(I'm drowning in myself)
I think I need help
Cause I've put myself through hell
I think I need help
Cause I'm drowning in myself
It's sinking in, I can't pretend
That I ain't been through hell
I think I need help
I think I need help
I think I need help

Peter Wafs thx for lyrics!!!
2022 check!!! Who’s here listening to this banger to de-stress 💯🙏🙌 We’re here for you, you’re not alone out there 🤝
One of the greatest bands ever. And I'm a 58 year old metal head. Only posts that bother me is any song any band. Someone who still listening in 2024? Anyone with taste stupid.
gosh I remember when I saw papa roach live at a carnival that goes on in my town it was the best concert ever, this year I'm seeing halestorm
Meghan U you won't be disappointed Halestorm is amazing!
Meghan U I saw them open for Linkin Park once it was the best
spicy boi Should be Linkin Park opening for PRoach now.
Vic Rattlehead lol yea
Meghan U nicee, Halestorm is awesome!
1:21 It's my usuall reaction when i come from kitchen and see Papa Roach rocking in my room again
If only LOL!
KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKLLKKKKK
Carolus Rex
Lucky you. 😂
dammit not again
There's a great line in this song, well there's several, but the one I'm talking about is "I can't pretend that I ain't been through hell." Too many of us minimize our trauma and what we've gone through because we see people who we feel have had it much worse. But the truth is, it's not a competition. Just because someone went through something absolutely horrific, that does not mean that what you went through was any less damaging. Give yourself permission to acknowledge what you've been through.
I needed this!
This song im dedicating to one of my best friends Mikey. and Tiffany. My girl. My ride or die. After she passed mikey (her brother) would come n kick it for days weeks it was whatever. Hes family. One day he showed me this song and its jus perfect for how we both felt. We miss her so much n now I alone miss them both so much. Rock on. And see u both on the other side. Thanks papa roach.
Love to you man, sorry about her passing
1:02 that feeling when you have no milk and you already poured cereal into a bowl
It's such a down moment it's genuinely depressing
Lol shoot all's I manage to do is throw some tap water on it ..lol... Not very good but ..
*_relatable_*
i laughed
Or when you pour milk into the bowl and have no cereal
love it! always down with Papa Roach!
Beth Hartsock I'm always down with the sickness! That was a Disturbed reference, if you didn't get it.
I did
+1 for your taste in music.
Heard this song a few times here and there over the years.
But only now as my depression and inner demons have nearly taken control do I feel this song to my CORE.
And I realize that I THINK I NEED HELP.
THANK YOU JACOBY and the rest of Papa Roach. I needed this today
Same here, this song has been on repeat for me a lot lately, I hope that you are doing good, and that you are able to get help
This song helps me when I'm down
Papa Roach is STILL putting out bangers
This song saved my life this week. My husband (who I was separated from and going through a divorce with, though I loved him more than anything) killed himself last week. He was everything to me even if we were toxic and abusive to each other. I have been so depressed, listening to music that we both listened to together and considered joining him when this showed up in my suggestion list. Thanks to Papa Roach for saving my life without even knowing it. Take care of yourselves and keep doing what you do
Raven Neatherlin I’m sorry
Rip, Sorry!
Prayers for you. I'm sorry for your loss.
I’m sorry for your loss 😔😔😔 hearing this kind of thing gives me tears 😥
Raven, keep on truckin'
Love from tipton west midlands long time fans ❤
I LOVE THIS SONG !!
Damn the feels right now 😭
"Dumb ass bunny"...sammme😂
Andy Black- Am sure we've all felt like a dumb bunny. Those lil shits in the donut shop.
while she sleeps
I would have scared them for that shit lol
The topic of this video is never give up even through the hardest times. Just remember theres a bunny out there in this world that has been through what you went through. Youre not alone, BLESS UP💯🙏🏽
I've listened to this song ten times in a row. I'm so glad that it exists and can bring words to pain.
Give Shinedown ago pal. Another band that nails it.
Papa roach never disappoints me...
The faces the guy makes at 2:13 and 2:53 - You can feel his pain, so deep this video is.
Alexander Sabev I
Alexander Sabev
Alexander Sabev I'm sorry but, it's a joke right? Because those faces are actually funny lmao.
I started crying. He did such a good job.
