I am currently writing my own book, and I've listened to all sorts of music while writing it but never had the inspiring words, but this song has been in repeat for 2 hours and I have wrote 5 chapters. Absolute stunning voices.
This hits me in my soul! This was me and my husband, til he passed in November! Pretty unexpectedly too! I feel like I have died too, and it still hurts physically. But he was my best friend first, then we split because he thought I needed someone better. Then a few months later we got back together and we’re on fire for each other! And that ran for 12 years and two beautiful sons. He passed away at 43, and I’m left here in agony til I can see, touch, and even smell him again! This song is what helps me get thru the hardest times! I’m still so in love with him, my life is still being his wife, and always will be! No one could even begin to take his spot!

I just miss him with every bit of my being! He was my everything and then some! And our sons miss him dearly also! It sucks! And like you it was very unexpected too! Ben Daulton Albums always go through tuning. Basically every singers albums get adjusted. His voice is not being done for him, and its not that he can’t come close to this.. The problem is with softer songs like this where the instrumental part of the song gets softened through editing. You can’t quiet down the instruments on stage to the same degree, so the singers are put in a spot where they get drown out by the background music.
Was listening to this song while cleaning around the house and all of a sudden it hit me that it meant something a lot deeper to me. I look over the past multiple years and think back to the friends, some of which I feel are closer than blood from time in the service. When the song mentions "I want to live for something" it nearly brought me to tears thinking about battle buddies I will never get to see or hear from again and how the withdraw from Afghanistan and Iraq is leaving those places in not great shape. I hope, no I pray we made a difference. I pray we will make a difference to those oppressed in Cuba, we desperately need a win to somehow justify the pain and loss we feel.

I want to dedicate this to one of my closest friends, Savanna, you have helped me through the hardest times of my life, I have helped you out of suicide, and I'm grateful that you are still alive, and stay happy, I know life is a bitch, but anyone who reads this will understand that mental health struggles are very common and that alot of us go through things, this song has helped me heal many mental wounds, and I want to thank all of my closest friends and family for helping me through these hard times, especially you Savanna I love you, and you understand how much you mean to me, we will stay friends for hopefully our whole lives

I pray you continue to push through the battles life brings our way and continue to choose life. When you mentioned your kids being better off, they won't. I lost my dad to suicide April 2018 and its felt like 3 days not 3 years. I read something that hit me hard being a suicide loss survivor..."Suicide doesn't take the pain away it passes it on to someone else" and that someone in my situation is me. My dad and I were super close so it is so hard to find my way through this pain still. I have never struggled mentally before this so getting hit with anxiety, depression, and PTSD all at once had me buried in a hole so deep I questioned whether life was worth living myself. The first 1.5 years after I cant even remember a single thing, I was so deeply depressed I stopped living. I had no idea if I would ever be okay. I also have children and I feel so awful they had to see me that way. It is something many don't understand so you feel alone. Although I grow more as time goes I had to realize that I was no longer me, and that this forever changed me. I continue to learn how to handle the changes in me and my life everyday. It may feel like things will never be better but there is always hope. I pray for better days for you. Im sorry this is so long but I just want you to know your not alone and if you ever feel alone please reach out to someone ♡ My name here is my name on social and I am here if you ever need to talk to someone who understands. But he was my best friend first, then we split because he thought I needed someone better. Then a few months later we got back together and we’re on fire for each other! And that ran for 12 years and two beautiful sons. He passed away at 43, and I’m left here in agony til I can see, touch, and even smell him again! This song is what helps me get thru the hardest times! I’m still so in love with him, my life is still being his wife, and always will be! No one could even begin to take his spot!

Ben Daulton Albums always go through tuning. Basically every singers albums get adjusted. His voice is not being done for him, and its not that he can’t come close to this.. The problem is with softer songs like this where the instrumental part of the song gets softened through editing. You can’t quiet down the instruments on stage to the same degree, so the singers are put in a spot where they get drown out by the background music.

I look over the past multiple years and think back to the friends, some of which I feel are closer than blood from time in the service. When the song mentions "I want to live for something" it nearly brought me to tears thinking about battle buddies I will never get to see or hear from again and how the withdraw from Afghanistan and Iraq is leaving those places in not great shape. I hope, no I pray we made a difference. I pray we will make a difference to those oppressed in Cuba, we desperately need a win to somehow justify the pain and loss we feel.

I lost my dad to suicide April 2018 and its felt like 3 days not 3 years. I read something that hit me hard being a suicide loss survivor..."Suicide doesn't take the pain away it passes it on to someone else" and that someone in my situation is me. My dad and I were super close so it is so hard to find my way through this pain still. I have never struggled mentally before this so getting hit with anxiety, depression, and PTSD all at once had me buried in a hole so deep I questioned whether life was worth living myself. The first 1.5 years after I cant even remember a single thing, I was so deeply depressed I stopped living. I had no idea if I would ever be okay. I also have children and I feel so awful they had to see me that way. It is something many don't understand so you feel alone. Although I grow more as time goes I had to realize that I was no longer me, and that this forever changed me. I continue to learn how to handle the changes in me and my life everyday. It may feel like things will never be better but there is always hope. I pray for better days for you. This was such a great song. These two are just incredible together. I've never heard of bad wolves until recently watching them singing zombie. I was hooked after that. I have loved zombie by Delores for ever and they did a fantastic remake of it.
