This song is what broke me when my dad died. I was so numb until I found this song. The water works and screaming began and I grieved. Thankful for meaningful music.

Watching this two weeks after I called veterans affairs because I was thinking of taking my life hits hard (I didn’t serve but my dad and mum did. Dad’s no longer here. But here in Australia families get free counseling)
I ended up in hospital in the psych ward as I live alone and vet affairs weren’t happy with me being alone.
If anyone feels bad please reach out to emergency services or mates!! Life is worth living!!!!
I recently lost my brother unexpectedly, on his birthday. The next day I found out I was pregnant. My grief and depression kept me from the outside world until the day my water broke. I had a healthy baby boy. While I was in the hospital with him I came across this song, it helped me more than you could ever know.❤❤❤

Thank you. No one understands the internal battles you deal with everyday with yourself to just get out of bed and live. Focusing on others and helping them is so much easier then helping your own demons.
What if millions understands. You just don't encounter them because your growing from it. Enduring it. Etc. And because of that you are the light in the dark for those you encounter. The ones you help or learn from. Are maybe who you see and talk to and meet. But the others like you. Are Dealing with the same. A wall of people who need you or you need them exist between the opportunity for me and you to meet. It's perhaps not that there isn't anyone who doesn't understand. But a purpose for keeping you seperate from those like you. Few in number. But helping many by carrying on in positive good will. Enduring and not letting the negative and draining and suffering and struggle etc break you enough to stop being the type of person you are that others need because they aren't like you and can't endure or overcome or maintain what you can and do. Making you a leader and a healer and an idol and a provider and a protecter and a benevolent life form doing your best to be how and who you are day by day. Getting up Everytime your knocked down. Beautiful and heroic things overlooked and taken as average accomplishment. You can't ever know how valuable you may be to other people. Who you save. Who falls in love with you. Who likes you. Who benifited from you. Your words. Your views. Your passions. Your actions. Your accomplishments. You could be the only person to thousands in your life that is able to take on life like you do and overcome things they couldn't without your guidance showing them how by example

There’s always someone worse off than you and you’ll feel much better if you can find a way to help them! this song still hits me, been living with mental inllness and sustance abuse for the bigger part of my life, but here I am soon to be 7 months sober, and this song pops up on my yt, and this is exactly what I needed today, been close to relapsing a bunch of times, but stood strong, today has been a hard day for me. and this song helps me to think clearer at those times. especially on days when I feel so bad I sometimes think about ending it all. world needs more artists like you. thank you Tommy. Never thought you could fall for someone just by knowing their story. Survivor of addiction, abuse, and brought back after suicide attempt. It’s true the only way to save me is by making space for someone else. I went into corrections to help people from murderers to drug dealers, ect. I have to believe in the goodness of people and rehabilitation. It’s not an easy job and I still have my own demons to fight but music is the best cure for my soul. I love the fighter in you. 🖤

The fact this song is based on how he was gonna jump in front of a train from a deep spiral with depression from the miscarriage of his unborn child just to get a call from someone who needed help because he was a sober counselor and they just OD and were left for dead lirerally right before he was gonna do it and chose to save their life as apposed to taking his gives me chills to the fucking bone!! I feel you i had just been in this situation with my daughter trying to end her own life but with a mommy being strong for her even though my own world was falling apart did i get my daughter through it and she is now happy again. No matter how Dark our light and thought is there is always someone who need us. She is now diagnoses with ptsd but on medication and is a happy child again ❤️❤️
