I think the problem here is that they put something out that's different than their norm but is pretty much the same as everything else that's being made today, so that's one less band for a lot of people to listen to because they don't have much of an identity anymore. I'm not saying all of there music is like that though as I don't listen to them.

I tear up every time I see this video. Death was handled so beautifully, first seeing the old man carry in his wife's groceries then walking out the back door as the wife looked longingly at him. Then, as she reminisces of him, she walks out the back door and joins him. The lights swirl about like she's ascending to heaven and she sees him and smiles knowing they're together again. It's just so beautiful.

Never really watched the video closely, it's about a couple that met as children and dated as teens / 20's, and then at the end it appears she is on her own and he passed away. I've seen a few elderly couples die so close together of each other, as if they really are nothing without their other half. As sad as the widow or widower may be losing their significant other, I think having that kind of bond with someone all of those years would be worth it all
So much truth in this comment. My grandfather and grandmother both passed away last year, few months apart, and I do think that spending most of your life with someone will hurt a lot, and only a thing or two can compare to that pain. It was tough for me to lose them and I still can't completely get over it, but I can't even imagine how hard the last few months for my grandmother must've been. But, yes, maybe it'd be all worth it in the end... if I ever get to that age and stage of my life, maybe I will find out.
I love how they went from this to Everything Wrongs. This song makes you feeling like a time when everything feels right and that love warm feeling while Everything Wrongs feels dark, grey, bitter and it gives you the feeling “there’s no fixing this”.

Just saw them for their 15 year anniversary tour in Orlando Florida. This song went SO hard. My husband & I had just celebrated our 15 year anniversary a few days before (been together since we were 12/13 . I just turned 29. He turns 30 in November. ) & it was absolutely amazing to experience this song live. One of "our" songs. It was so good & we were at the front. One for the books.
Fun Fact: This music video was filmed on my family's farm in Conway, Massachusetts. So much history and memories created there for generations of my family.

That's arguably my favourite ballad ever made by any band. I found this song because of my girlfriend and ever since I'm listening to it every single day at least once. This chorus is one of the most powerful moments ever! I hate the fact that so many people are against their softer stuff! You can play this note for note next to many songs to date and there near identical.Stone sour did this forever ago before it was churned into butter and regurgitated by countless other bands. But.. sometimes you have no choice but to comply with the producer and or label, they want a ballad you make one..a lot of bands have no choice but to do it, wether they wanted to or not.While others fight and risk there career to do what they want or just give in.
While I'd never play this in the gym working out I do like this as it lets Phil expand his vocal presence a bit. Many fans of Metalcore will probably diss this because it's not their cup of tea but it's a really good song and a decent band.

Sometimes I hear a song or two that clicks but I like a lot of Melody and Harmony without it sounding like Screamo which I think covers Bring Me, As I Lay Dying, and most others.

That's arguably my favourite ballad ever made by any band. I found this song because of my girlfriend and ever since I'm listening to it every single day at least once. This chorus is one of the most powerful moments ever! I hate the fact that so many people are against their softer stuff! Just listen to their old albums and stop hating on something just because it's not your typical metalcore album!

I partly agree but sadly it's obvious there at the mercy of there label, this really is a cookie cutter metal" ballad" song. You can play this note for note next to many songs to date and there near identical.Stone sour did this forever ago before it was churned into butter and regurgitated by countless other bands. But.. sometimes you have no choice but to comply with the producer and or label, they want a ballad you make one..a lot of bands have no choice but to do it, wether they wanted to or not.While others fight and risk there career to do what they want or just give in.

While I'd never play this in the gym working out I do like this as it lets Phil expand his vocal presence a bit. Many fans of Metalcore will probably diss this because it's not their cup of tea but it's a really good song and a decent band.
Austen Brennan I'm not so much a fan. I have a select group that I like. Killswitch with Jesse, Trivium, All That Remains. Sometimes I hear a song or two that clicks but I like a lot of Melody and Harmony without it sounding like Screamo which I think covers Bring Me, As I Lay Dying, and most others.
