They play tight until they have to change things because they have to. Add in that they don’t make very many key mistakes and you end up with multiple final moment victories. But the important thing to note is that winning is all that matters in the NFL. Teams like the Ravens and Bills have been much better at blowing out their opponents in previous years compared to the Chiefs, yet it hasn’t mattered in the end.

They're frauds, they say a win is a win but I don't see this team making another super bowl when they win off luck and others teams misfortunes. They've only won 2 games by more than one possession and the only 2 super bowl contenders they've played are the Ravens (won by 7) and the Bills. They'll get that #1 seed and then lose.

It is not luck if it happens all the time. As Cowherd said, it’s a “business model”. They have several key players out and their OTs are useless. They play tight until they have to change things because they have to. Add in that they don’t make very many key mistakes and you end up with multiple final moment victories. Its what dominant teams do.
They not dominate winning and dominating is to different things. Yes the chiefs are great at comeback wins but dominating is what the Detroit lions doing this year. They winning with a average of 45 points that’s insane

Ppl who hate the KC Chiefs for "winning too much" need to understand something. Our team hadn't been to a Superbowl in about 50 years before 2019. We didn't even win a post season game for 25 of those years straight. U guys have no idea how hard our team has worked to get where they are and how passionate us fans are. We are the best and that's all there is to it. So keep hating. It keeps us motivated 😘
I keep having to tell fellow chiefs fans to be a little more humble about where we are because we were shot for so long, so we understand the way other teams fans feel.
As a fan of the Chargers, I see the opposite. If the Chiefs hadn't let Marty Schottenheimer go back then, the Chargers wouldn't have gotten one of their best HC's ever. It's just a shame that the Spanos family spent so many years ruining the Chargers and fired Schottenheimer (after he posted a 14-2 season) to appease their paper tiger GM A.J. Smith, a.k.a. "The Lord of No Rings". Only now, after so many years of hiring cheap and unproven HCs, has the owner decided to spend money on a real HC.
This isn't hard work. This is luck. No self-respecting Chiefs fan can argue they've been INCREDIBLY lucky.

@Salsuero so when does luck turn into skill? No one's that lucky. It's called having a top QB & head coach knowing how exactly to handle high pressure games and time management. And if u know anything about the Chiefs history, then u know it's quite common for us to win close games and come back from "nowhere." This isn't anything new.
I love watching the Chiefs for this very reason and I'm not a Chiefs fan. It's definitely some kind of Magic that comes from their hearts for wanting so badly to win.

Ya, perfect coaching, an elite player or star at all necessary big play positions, Patrick Mahomes and being prepared to win every week with a winning mindset is the literal perfect formula for success. And in these uber close games, it's the difference maker. Teams are doing everything they can to take them out game after game and because of preparation and mindset, they just can't get to the finish line.

The Chiefs’ offensive line has been terrible yet the team is winning every game because it’s well disciplined. I legit got jealous of Josh Allen’s offensive line watching the Bills Rams today. But the important thing to note is that winning is all that matters in the NFL.

Thank you for actually understanding the fundamental of football, just because a QB isn't putting up crazy numbers and not looking their best as prior seasons doesn't mean the team isn't doing well or just getting lucky, it's a TEAM game, and is why we see them winning so much when in expectation other teams would lose such close games.
