I love how natural this presentation is. Not everything is in front of her all ready to go. And she has to go to the fridge to get milk and butter. Very relatable. You can tell this is her own kitchen because she moves about it like a goddess!
She was only in agreement to do the TV thing if she could do it unscripted. Brilliance and ahead of her time for sure. I like her old stuff better than the new stuff lol
I love all the shots of Nigella obscured by collanders and cooking equipment- such an intimate and natural feeling you don't see in today's cooking presentations.
It's because it's her actual kitchen and not a set/studio. She even has to go to the fridge to get cream & butter - it's part of her truly homestyle brand
Thanks for the dessert choice. I'm a huge Turkish delight fan, but haven't found any (good) near me and I'm not much of a confectioner. And syllabub is a huge favorite from childhood. Mum made wonderful ones.
Ooh! That pulled lamb with pomegranate and mint! I'd put that in fresh tortillas and make tacos out of it! Maybe add some of that arugala salad she had on the side on the taco too! Everything is better in a tortilla!
I do not comment on videos , but I made an exception today... She has THE MOST beautiful eyes on the planet....absolutely....no doubt....confirmed by my inner soul.
When she put the coffee beans in the grinder and it cut to the peaceful shots of the streets, I thought they were gonna play the sound of the grinder over, for comedic effect
Nutella since you work so hard on cooking and house clean . Maybe each gust could give you a small bites of the things you prepare . As a show of respect and saying thank you for cooking .
Not trying to be funny or a troll but every time I watch her videos she never really use and seasonings nor season her food. I’m sure her food isn’t bland but it looks like it’s flavorless the next day
I suspect that the food gets seasoned off-camera. She once said that you shouldn't put salt on vegetables when roasting, because it will make the water in them leak out, making them braise instead of roast. I'm not 100% sure if the same happens with meat, but for some reason it's better to season it after cooking. Some of her recipes with bacon don't need a lot of salt due to the bacon itself. She usually seems to "season" with spices instead of salt and pepper, though I suspect that she probably keeps salt and pepper on the table so her guests can season it for themselves if they want to.
I noticed that as well. It’s funny though, if you watch her other videos she always says how she hates throwing things away, and it’s apparent because she saves so many scraps and small bits of food a drinks so as not to throw them away.
Cooking a giant piece of pork in long sleeve silk pajamas? Really? The easiest way to turn over a large piece of pork is with a big meat fork and knife. Using oven mitts is wasteful and unsanitary.
Why are the comment sections beneath Nigella’s videos always populated with such whiny bullshiters...? This show is 20 years old. And yes, really, she did cook in payamas and was not as santiary as today’s sanitary fascists would like her to be. And people still love her. Go watch Gordon Ramsey 🤬
Why it's so peaceful to watch Nigella cooking videos..Every videos gives a festive vibes!Thank you for uploading..
Her tone, style, air of confidence... it's soothing.
She is irritating and she can not cook. Its all about her not the cooking.UFF

..indeed and very European

It’s a studio. She has stated in interviews that having a camera crew in her home would be too intrusive.
The very opposite of the manic Rachael Ray with her garbage food.
matthewcallow8719 no this is her home in London

Who else loves the background evening light coming through the doors in the back?? Always been such a comfort to me while I watched this show
That’s what I love as well!

Her language creates vivid images of the food. And the music is so iconic Nigella.
Don’t mind if it’s old,enjoy watching it anyway,and I am hungry!
old is good
It looks so simple and effortless the way she does it ❤️
Thank you Nigella for all your amazing recipes. I hope that more people across the globe will learn more and more from your expertise. Keep it up!
Her pottering around is so calming
Love this woman and her cooking, so relaxing 😌
“Volcanic eruption of dark luscious syrup”. Good god my mouth is watering! 😋

Nothing screams early 2000's like a Siemens Porsche kettle!
Any idea what is that tall curvy pot that she put the potatoes in is called?
@@RubyTwilite the curvy pot is a couscoussier.the basket she dumps the potatoes from is the steamer basket you place on top.

I really wanted to see how the pudding turned out, would have been interesting.
you were able to see it on the bottom left at 23:09 but yeah unf would have loved more of it featured.
That's looks exactly like the kind of food I want to eat.
Thank you , from Israel .
There's another great chef like you her name is Lorraine Pascal i love you both

I don't like lamb but this looks great!
These are all delicious! And so is that guy at 22:48 😍
LOL might have looked a bit more suave if he wasn’t gnawing on that piece of crackling
@@ophthodoc really, I thought it was sexy haha I like when guys make funny cute faces. But then again he was already cute lol 😆
exactly how many favorites do you have nigella? everything seems to be your "favorite"
Is the pudding at the end like a traditional english thing? I have wanted to try and make a traditional english pudding and this looks interesting!
If I had grown up in Nigella's house, I would've been a more sophisticated man today.
Love it
That pork crackling......LUSH
It's Nigella who thought me to cook.
I do not comment on videos , but I made an exception today...

They're so expressive
My eyes are far more beautiful and Green
Where can I get that pepper mill?!
Nigella is what I wrote . It auto correct me . Love your show . Sorry about that .
16:52 why didn't she just use a pair of tongs to turn the meat over?
I don't know why I watch these videos but they are great. Maybe bc she's beautiful and the food looks delicious! Lol
A Jewish mother cooking pork! lol Wonderful Nigella!
Happy world 🎉🎉❤️🎉

Poor cameraman, there must be a reason he's always on the sauce and never gets fired.
This looks tasty, but lamb is not a readily available meat for my area.
surprised you use two different flower waters

She salted the lamb and said meat without enough salt is vile.
ya, she doesn't properly salt most of her food. i can't imagine that tastes good. but i'm still captivated by her!
Not enough seasoning on therat
No herbs Nigella?
I hope that one day she will do a presentation without combing her hair in the morning...just leave it as is...totally different and interesting..
She has.
“if you have children you could get them to do that”
this is an old show...cause the children are all grown up now.
They are all old. She's sixty and will be 61 in January. I'm not saying that's bad. It just is.
We know
Tonnes of monetization turned on..........
She’s was much more no nonsense in those days.
🌸👍🏻
Preciosa
Is it pork??
The lamp comes out of the oven No smoke at all.. Cold.
I love her but it drives me crazy how she always leaves so much stuff on the bowl, she's a bit wasteful...
knowing her, she probably licks the bowl clean once the cameras are off
There’s just something sexy about the way she cooks.

Cooking onion without cleaning it and with skin on ???
Yeah seems very strange to me.
Garlic too. She uses it only for flavour , it is not ment to be eaten,so it's fine.
Notice almost no uppu too😂
She probably washed it off camera
Love her but she’s very fast and sloppy I would still try it tho
i get stressed watching her she has a lot of energy and is perfect hostess but how long it will last ?
What?
She snorts come on occasion. So it has been said.
What?
Your camera focus more on her than food.
very nice juicy crowd pleaser
I have to say she's wasteful. Everytime she spreads batter or pours cream she never scrapes the bowl

No babies
Looks like a lot of fcking effort!
Hardly. Onions and garlic don't even require peeling.
Well, then open a box of Kraft dinner then.
More effort than takeout
Why is the lamb so bland. Can’t you afford seasoning?
turn the pig over!
Nigella does not age..nor does her kids grow up....lol
Bought in a fit of bad taste 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Love her but really cringe when she does not wash her vegetables or peel anything.
A mess
