When I was about 11 or 12 I used to watch your show religiously. Now even at 28 there’s something so calming about nigella. I love the way she cooks and she’s taught me a lot.
I adore the mention of including children in some of the recipes! My 8-year-old loves helping out in the kitchen, it makes her so proud and I think she enjoys the meal more when she's had a hand in making it.
Hi Nigella. I am Mohamad from Egypt. I just want to tell you that I love you. You look like my older sister. She is almost at your same age. And she also loves food and loves to cook. She cooks from her home too. And she enjoys eating same way you do. I mean, in your program, sometimes when they shoot you while you are tasting something, it just shows that you like it and that it tastes delicious, and you get this look in your eyes. My sister has this same look when she eats something that she likes too. She was the one who taught me how to enjoy and taste food not just fill myself up. I feel at home when I watch your show. It was broadcasted here in Egypt in a channel called Fatafeet (Literally mean "crumbles") on cable tv. Your show was one of my favourite. The other one was Jamie Oliver if you know him. Your programes made me feel peace and happiness. Thank you. I hope your life is going well.
I've watched Nigella's shows since the beginning. And even now, it's amazing just how far she's come in those nearly 25 years since Nigella Bites first graced our tv screens. I rewatched it recently, and looking back on it, Nigella both looks and sounds nothing like she does now - she's almost a completely different person. But it's been wonderful to see her grow and become immensely successful with the multitude of shows she's given us over the years. I absolutely love her, and the food she makes.
Nigella makes my day. SO inspiring! My husband is so happy, when I mention that I have watched her today. He knows he is in for a treat, he was not expecting.
Nigella as good today as it was then. Bruno and Mimi are all grown up now making their own lovely golden lamb chops now! Nigella is still just as awesome today.
Me too :) I'm sitting here with a glass of white wine, tiny Christmas tree glowing next to me as I watch this...and it's absolute bliss x I love Nigella.
Dear Mrs. Nigella...I wanted to introduce myself to you. Since my teenage years an throughout my motherhood years. I've learned the art of cooking....I've tried to cook the best I could. An sometimes when I've had other recipes. For some reason it was never good enough for my taste buds. So I revised alot of the recipes. Butttttt since I met you on the video. I saw a beautiful women that I said looks something like my family...you speak in a very pleasant fashion. Your extremely elegant. You look European. You work clean. You look like you wood be a chef teacher... Anyway I had some questions for you. And I've messaged other chefs but I haven't received an answer yet...there not doing things right on the video. So I can't comprehend...so to end this note for now. Till we meet again . Enjoy the holidays...be healthy be safe. Hope you text and contact me.....yours truly Maria..from New Jersey ...America...

Today I'm reorganizing my pantry and have everything out on counters. I definitely borrow from many cuisines. This reminded me I need more za'atar. With fresh mint for meatballs ...... yum!
@@manmaje3596 I loooove Worcestshire sauce! In EVERYTHING! Pasta sauce, chili, on caesar salad, I like to bump up tinned baked beans with strong mustard and Worcestershire sauce! Yum!!!
I am an indian and might my family never try any of your dishes that you made but i used to watch your show in hindi back in 2012-13 on TLC channel. Loved it not just me my whole family 😁
I would put salt on the grated courgette and let it rest for a hour. The water would leak out of the vegetable and I would then squeeze the hell out of it and maybe even press it down a sieve so that the courgette is rid of excess water. I even use the courgette water to knead flour for my rotis, use small amounts in salad dressings etc. So no waste.
Since she processed them already, its not that necessary. It's also difficult to remove the excess salt when they are processed like that instead of slices.
@@theywalkinguptoyouand4060 I don't know. I have done the same with courgettes and even cucumber. You don't need to put excessive amount of salt. I even add a bit of sugar to cucumbers then squeeze it after sometime and then mix it with Greek yogurt or hung curd.
Hi Nigella,so nice to see the great ideas.Especially useful for a quick eat.Your fantastic description makes it tempting!!!Adore courgette fritters.Always a pleasure to watch these super ideas. Thank you so very much. Can you please do some pancake recipe.

For fried eggs on toast, I fry the eggs in avocado oil rather than vegetable oil. The avocado oil doesn't dry out the eggs as much and the eggs are less likely to stick to the bottom of the frypan.
There is repetition across these compilation videos. It would help if the video description contained a list of all the dishes prepared and their corresponding time marks. This way, the viewer can skip the ones that they have already watched. Thanks!

Is it bad to say that as a young man I fancied Nigella. And even now, many years later, she is still exceptional.
You and everyone else lol the beauty & posh is part of her brand.
Nigella is undoubtedly a chef with a warm persona. It's such a bliss to watch her cook❣

It is the best skill to have.
Early in the morning. In full hair and makeup. While still in a robe. Love it!
lilacfunk When making pancakes? Does she have make-up there? She looks very naturally 😊
I remember back in the day when I had a rocking knife like that inspired by nigella. So nostalgic watching her #90schild
MMN the knife is called a Mezzaluna (Half moon in Italian!). You can find a nice one on Amazon, one made in Italy, for about $19.95!
