@@harrythehammer did u check to see if u have Freon pressure and power to ac conpressor ?
@@RBTheMechanic Yes everything works but it’s not blowing full blast even when I have it on high
@@harrythehammer you also have fuses in the instrument panel as well.. This fix helped me and i was playing with all the fuses in front and inside
I have a 2006 Avalon that the ac would work for about 5 minutes then start blowing hot air even though the compressor clutch was engaged but blowing hot air.
I pulled this MG CL T relay and it was hot, the compressor quit engaging, I replaced the relay and all of a sudden the ac started blowing cold air even though the ac light on the dash was flashing.
I reset the ac light by pressing it and turning it back on, took it for a 15 minute test drive and all is still working.
Rusty Nuckles we’ll do replace that relay also your Freon can be low try having it serviced

My 98 Avalon, the ac compressor isn’t turning going to try replacing my relays. Hot air blows out but the compressor isn’t getting power and not turning.

I have a 96 avalon and the air is not blowing from the front vents but it does blow on the feet and top of dash

I have a 96 Avalon that blows air just not cold it was working a day ago before I installed the radio and the clutch does not engage any thoughts? Thanks
Just to be clear the AC was blowing cold before I re installed the radio I’m going to check the connections but I’m sure I plugged everything in
Start with checking Freon pressure
When I put the 3 ac relays on mine it’s bogs out & dies . What could it be? Just bout it with out ac relays & drives fine. Blows air too
Might be ac compressor putting too much load check to see if ur idle speed is good other wise ac compressor might be the issue

My son's 99 v6 Camry has a flashing ac light. Hopefully it a simple fix. Just gotta figure out a part #
luke zac try charging the ac r134 if it’s low it might be quick fix
Same car and everything my ac clutch kicked on and I put a bunch of freon in the ac compressor runs fine etc no bad noises but not cold air what can that be
RusH N RelaX well u have to service the ac system propperly vaccume the system and add correct amount !!! Dose ur pipes get cold?

tammy parker ok check fuse for ac compressor. Do u know where the port is to charge the ac system u can push In the pin to see if it got pressure
I'm going to check the relay on my car too but the AC switch in my Toyota has a light and I'm wondering if the relay is bad I don't think the AC light on the switch would come on
Trini_ Boi that could be sign of low freeon
@@RBTheMechanic there's no freeon in the compressor just the compressor oil but what I'm saying is the power plug that plugs into the compressor has no power and the AC switch in the car is lit green and also the AC fan is blowing..this is weird and I even swap out the AC relay with a good working relay and still no power to the compressor..the only thing I came up with it might be the AC switch in the car that's bad even tho it lit green when the AC is on..
Trini_ Boi ok so there’s the problem system will not work without ac freeon pressor it will not supply power if it dosent have pressure try charging the system add dye so that way U can trace the leak also hopefully it kicks on
@@RBTheMechanic I understand what you saying but in order to put freeon in the system the compressor has to be running..in my case the compressor is not running cause it's not getting any power..I even got a piece of wire and jumped the compressor to see if it's good and the compressor came on and ran fine until I released jumper so that tells me the compressor is good it's just not getting no power..
Trini_ Boi no you can put freeon in the system vaccine pump need to be used to do suction and then it will suck it right in usually I do it with service machine
How about if the fan is not running
Blower motor fan or radiators ac fans?
hello. I also own a 99 Avalon xls, my ac doesn't work for the front& rear diffuser and the feet vents. can you tell me what could be the problem?
no ac lights are on btw on my car.
Ronnie Purushottam well first let’s deal with ac so try checking fuse and relay swap the real with another none major relay see what happnes also check if it has Freon

What’s the problem with your car and what year make model ... ac system is not related to heat but there is blend door that opens and closes to heat or ac some times the motor goes bad and it stays on ac will not turn to heat that can be your cars problem but please explain me the issue with ur car

What do u mean air conditioner panel do u mean control unit
Try checking the fuses. I just replaced my htr fuse and the panel came on, working perfectly
I have a 2003 Toyota Avalon my air does blow out cold and then it'll just stop working a It would not blow anything than after a few days and or minutes then it'll come back on
Lily Gatschenberger well u have 2 different problems one ac don’t work second the blower don’t work here’s some test check swap relays for ac check fuse and for the air blower if it turns off again u can try putting on high speed some times the resistor wount control low speeds but high turns to be direct power also check ac Freon

@@RBTheMechanic I HAD THE OLD BOX WITH RELAY SWITCHED OUT WITH THE ONE THAT I HAD IT WAS THE EASY ONES TO PULL OUT BY BOSCH AND WHEN THE FAN 1 WAS HALF WAY IN THE FAN WOULD TURN ON AC WOULDNT WORK MAIN REASON IM TRYNA FIX SO I HAD THE WHOLE BOX SWITCH AND IT LOOKS MORE LIKE YOURS NOW I CANT PULL ANY RELAYS OUT IN THAT 3 RELAY BOX AND MY FANS DONT TURN ON AT ALL?? DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT I SHOULD DO NEXT I JUST SEEN A VIDEO DISCONECTING A PLUG ON THE RADIATOR WILL KEEP THE FANS BOTH RUNNING BUT I AM MAINLY TRYNA FIX MY AC AND HAVE THE FANS WORK THANKS FOR FAST REPLY

My fans don't kick in when I turn my ac on my 2001 toyota avalon..could it be fan fuse? I haven't checked yet.
KILLA CHIZZ dose the ac work? Fan maybe take time to come on they work on and off according to the temperature
If the fan don't come on with the ac button lit up or only works on high speed you have a defective blower motor and or resistor.
Rusty Nuckles we r talking abut radiator fans but that’s true for blower motor
It's the compressor goin bad
