If you do a batrep at the gates of Minas Tirith (after the boards ready), you've got to have an allied Easterling contingent. They're just visible in the film if you know when to pause but I'd love to see their inclusion! My personal favourite faction by far

Absolutely! Especially after their march through the black gate. I thought that they'd definitely be back. My dream project would be a defence of the north Peter Jackson movie with Easterlings and Orcs marching on Erebor.
Yes! It seems like the Easterlings were meant to be presented as elite shock troops in the film but were cut for simplicity. Tragic, as I love the Easterlings

I think the Nazgul take home the crown here: their crowd control special attacks were clutch, and aren't something I see used often.
I've always thought Osgiliath was the most interesting battle. It's importance as a necessary foothold to launch an attack on Minas Tirith as well as how the terrain is so fun. And of course your board is amazing and really allows amazing immersion into the conflict. Playing on your Osgiliath board is a bucket-list item of mine!

Gothmog went off in this game! Also, I've never considered using compel to set up a hurl/barge. That's brutal!
If you think that's fierce you should use compel to set up a heroic combat in a turn in which you have been affected by a heroic March! Not only do you end up in combat when you wouldn't have been able to charge normally when you perform your second charge as a part of your heroic combat you still use the Modified movement of the heroic March!!

4:57 - Do you reckon the Orcs fight over who gets to go to shore in the giant, velvet-lined raft, or does the red lining make it too easy to get spotted?
That's the Prestige raft for the orcs with high favour of the dark lord

I’m curious to know if the sound effect at 20:25 of the raft sinking was an intentional choice or just a random one that you found? Sure sounded like the Age of Empires ship sinking sound effect to me, which I found incredibly amusing. Sounds of my childhood, akin to a Wilhelm scream in my heart. 😂😂
