Per your request for feedback, the only thing I would suggest to improve the battle report is graphics when the heroes are on screen showing their remaining wounds, might, will and fate
The new visuals are a big step up! It all looked great. Only other thing I could add would be like I've seen somebody else say, trackers for key heros wounds, might will and fate, especially for games like this where they are the key pieces. But huge Improvement, especially the background in the intro
this is fantastic i haven't watched your channel in ages as i'm studying for GCSEs, i thought i'd treat myself to a sneaky video. Well now i'm hooked and i've got this box set on pre-order. I run a tabletop gaming club at my school and now i'm going tell everyone of your brilliant contributions to middle earth. I will also be directing them to your web page to buy your amazing scenery. thank for all the fantastical battle reports i am loving the new technical effects . Keep up the good work!
Really happy to see some of the feedback that you asked about being implemented into videos! Amazing battle report as ever. Looking forward to the new content from you with all the new edition changes.
Needed to come back to this to cleanse my pallet, after seeing the disappointment of Bore of the Rohirrim. This version of the battle is actually fun, and a good report.
I just NEED to say that everyday i am looking forward to news videos of you. Your voice us calm and the battles are always entertaining, informative and still competitive. It always gives me a little boost to regain my passion and have some battles myself. Keep up the amazing work man!!❤
Productions great, commentaries great. I wouldn't change much mate, I reckon some post editing commentary would be cool about the tactics for us beginners
Thanks for the comment. I am always trying to balance the length of the video with the amount of detail in the tactics. I am going to try a longer video to see how the audience responds to it
@ConquestCreations you're already doing it to an extent, I think if you did it in game it could perhaps ruin it for you guys playing? I think adding it in in post would be cool and probably save you some time whilst playing.
I loved your video, truly interesting to look at the new miniatures and enjoy the new changes of the game (like Heroic Challenge, damn!!). Do you think you could do a video once your games are done to give your opinion regarding whether or not the rules change a lot? Cheers from France! Keep the brilliant work !
Great bat rep, was great to see the boxset/rules and your new effects. the fact wildmen can come back on a 4+ is nuts. what did you think of the models/game/rules having played it now?
I played this scenario a second time a few nights after this one and the Rohirrim won by a landslide so I think it is well balanced. I think the combo of matt getting 7 in one turn and my warriors drastically under preforming didn't help
For feed back your request on feed back I think your video have been improving, but there are things you could add for example a counter showing all the heroes might, fate, and wounds, and at the start of the video display the stats for all the units. Now what I think could add a bit more pop to the video ( this is just what I would like to see personally) is adding effects when models strike/kill another model, and little effects like that, and at the start of every round display the points each player has. But great video. FOR ROHAN!!
Great game and really explained the new mechanics well! General Targg having a better master of battle rule than Dain Ironfoot is making me laugh tho 😂
Awesome video! If i had to suggest anything, I personally would appreciate some more graphics on screen. From stat updates per hero or damage and wound charts, to any math or calculations going on, just something nice and visual to show what rules are being used and how they work. It may sound like making a tutorial video, but if the graphics are brief and simple I think it can help viewers follow along regardless.
Only because you asked... worth noting i really enjoyed the video. I do think it would massively benefit from some shots from further away, to see the overview of the battle, felt quite inorganic being so close in all the time. Great video though as always
do you have any recommendations for the type or size of 3d printer needed to print your files? I'm looking into a printer but i'm not sure where to start.
For my terrain you will need an FDM printer. In the studio I use the Bambu Lab P1S and the Bambu Lab P1P. I am not sponsored or anything these are just my top recommended printers. They are a bit more pricey that other entry level printers so if you are looking at other models just make sure the build plate is 20cmx20cm minimum
It's not to bad for them, I played this again off camera and the Rohan got an easy victory. I think it is mirroring the events from the book and film however
24:13 I didn’t want to say anything before, but I gotta know. Does EITHER model get Might back on a Heroic Challenge? You only accepted the Heroic Challenge, never spending Might. So I don’t find it likely, you’d get one back.
Apparently the Rohan forces didn't realize that there are numbers higher than a 3 on a D6. The amount of times you were out rolled on camera... by a lot, was ridiculous.
@VorTheRhino made this comment before getting to this point in the video. I still stand by my theory because you almost always want to kill horses first to potentially get the charge bonuses next turn. The one dismount we saw could've been painted after the battle just for that 'what if' dismount frame
I tried my hardest to trick people by showing Hama on foot but you may have uncovered my secret! Don't worry I just have Wulf on foot to go now, the rest are done!
Just a small thing but feedback is feedback. Evil players should use evil dice, good players should use good dice to clearly identify who’s dice roll is who
Thanks for the comment. I have had lots of comments about these! They were actually really easy to do. The miniatures lend them selves to being painted so easily. I used entirely citadel paints. I started with a 50/50 mix of Caliban Green and Loren Forest, then did a highlight layer with Loren forest, then just picked out the most raised parts in Straken green. I'll have a video diving into how I painted the full set.
@ConquestCreations looking forward to it! Especially your narrative! Did you watch the extended trailer footage? We are in for such an amazing movie with Helm I cannot wait to be in Cinemas again for a beloved reason
Between the dunland heroes and the scenario rules for dead warriors coming back to life, seems like a highly unfair scenario, even for narrative scenarios 🤔. Nice video tho
Are you supposed to roll for every dead Hillman model every round, even those that died multiple turns before? I thought those effects were usually only for models that died in the previous round. There's no way for Rohan to hold out against this if evil gets all those models back every turn.
It's not 100% clear but I reckon we played it correctly. I played this scenario a second time off camera and the Rohan force obliterated the Dunland force. I reckon they need to roll it every turn
Per your request for feedback, the only thing I would suggest to improve the battle report is graphics when the heroes are on screen showing their remaining wounds, might, will and fate
Maybe the same for victory points too
i`ll support that ! :)
Thanks for the comment! I appreciate the feedback. I'll look for a good way to do this
I think you are perpetually improving; this is by far my favorite MESBG batrep (in terms of production value) I've seen so far! Keep being awesome!
Thanks for the feedback! Every video that I make I am trying to improve slightly
The new visuals are a big step up! It all looked great. Only other thing I could add would be like I've seen somebody else say, trackers for key heros wounds, might will and fate, especially for games like this where they are the key pieces.
But huge Improvement, especially the background in the intro
Thanks for the comment, I have had a lot of requests for this so I think I will need to look into it
So nice explained. Every rule simple and just on point explained
Thanks mate! Appreciate the feedback
Good camera angles, good explanations, never played mesbg and I could easily follow along
Thanks for the comment, that is exactly what we are trying to achieve
Really like the new look. Great battle reports and looking forward to seeing more in the new edition!!
Thanks for the comment. We have a heap on the way. I am furiously painting new armies
Good video and length! Glad to see the new box in action, and the minis look great!
These videos are just getting better and better. So stoked to see this, keep it up!

love your battle reports, and streamlined gameplay. inspirational
Quality of the video is great! The backlight looks good. And it's a fun battle report.
Very cool batrep. What I like to be improved: maybe do some wide shots after each turn of the whole map so that we can see where the units are ?
This looks excellent. Well produced
Loved the closeups on their characters during the battle to see who was in the action
That was fun, and you did an amazing job painting those new figures.
Wonderful new visual effect!
Awesome report, can't wait to play it myself! Jazzed to get Dunland, been wanting to get into them a while so the timing is perfect!
The miniatures are absolutely awesome. I think I'll be picking up another box of Dunland warriors to have a true horde
@@ConquestCreations I will probably do the same, though I dread building them lol
Visuals are looking amazing! Nice batrep
Bat Rep looks great very well produced. I think trackers for remaing might, will, fate & wounds after hero fights would be a great addition.
Thanks for the feedback! Much appreciated
Great battle. Great paint jobs. Very entertaining.
Needed to come back to this to cleanse my pallet, after seeing the disappointment of Bore of the Rohirrim. This version of the battle is actually fun, and a good report.
loving you battle reports

Good stuff!
Awesome painting on these models! How did you do the cloaks for the Rohan warriors?
I'll have a video coming out soon about how I did everything in the box but they were pretty straightforward just layers of green highlighted up
@@ConquestCreations Hell yeah!!!
Forth Eorlingas!!
Great game guys!!!!!
Another great video. Maybe a few more full battlefield shots just to give an idea of the full battle.
Thanks for the comment, I think this is great advice. I've worked on this for the next battle report
Nice work
Productions great, commentaries great. I wouldn't change much mate, I reckon some post editing commentary would be cool about the tactics for us beginners

Really nice battle rep !
What colours where used for the horse armour on Haleth? It looks majestic!
I have a video coming out tonight about the biggest differences! Generally the changes to the core rules are very minor
That was a slaughter;)..RIP young Dudes their papa will be Mad Angry now
I had a glimmer of hope when Haleth was going well but as soon as he went down it was grim
Great bat rep, was great to see the boxset/rules and your new effects. the fact wildmen can come back on a 4+ is nuts. what did you think of the models/game/rules having played it now?
Yeah maybe changing it so they come back on a 5 or 6 might balance it a little?
I played this scenario a second time a few nights after this one and the Rohirrim won by a landslide so I think it is well balanced. I think the combo of matt getting 7 in one turn and my warriors drastically under preforming didn't help

Those blue shields are so good
Those minis look great. Is there a painting tutorial for them?
There will be one soon!
That is a great set, makes me want to do the Kickstarter to get it at the reduced price.
Thanks mate! It does heaps to support the channe;
Lovely painting, specially given how fast this was! How did you do the capes? They are so smooth!
Thanks for the comment. I'll have a video coming soon about painting the full set!
Great video, messaged you on Patreon 2 weeks ago
lovely colour scheme on the rohan warriors. What green did you use on the cloacks?
Great game and really explained the new mechanics well! General Targg having a better master of battle rule than Dain Ironfoot is making me laugh tho 😂
Please do some of the major cities like helms deep and the kingdom under the mountain
Never played mesbg before but excited tonstart this edition

Thanks for the comment. This is definitely something that I can work on! I have had a lot of requests for it so it is my next endeavor
Great batrep as always! Love the outstanding production quality. Only question I have is: why are there two shades of brown on your hand?😁
Hahahaha, I was painting the leather on the Rohan warriors I promise
For improvements, could you say how many models are remaining on each side at the end of a round.
Only because you asked... worth noting i really enjoyed the video. I do think it would massively benefit from some shots from further away, to see the overview of the battle, felt quite inorganic being so close in all the time.
Great video though as always
Thanks for the comment, that is a really easy one for us to improve on
Where did you get the custom dice made? They look amazing!
The come from Baron of Dice, they will be available for sale soon!
do you have any recommendations for the type or size of 3d printer needed to print your files? I'm looking into a printer but i'm not sure where to start.

@ConquestCreations thank you!
Any suggestions for where to go to buy the terrain if i don't have a 3d printer?
Edit: Nvm I see you sell it on the website
What an incredibly difficult scenario for Rohan. Dice didn't go your way but sheesh
It's not to bad for them, I played this again off camera and the Rohan got an easy victory. I think it is mirroring the events from the book and film however
@ConquestCreations that's fair! You also had pretty bad priority and dice luck which never helps
24:13 I didn’t want to say anything before, but I gotta know.
Does EITHER model get Might back on a Heroic Challenge? You only accepted the Heroic Challenge, never spending Might. So I don’t find it likely, you’d get one back.
If you accept the winner of the challenge will get a point of might back so you are heavily encouraged to accept!
Apparently the Rohan forces didn't realize that there are numbers higher than a 3 on a D6. The amount of times you were out rolled on camera... by a lot, was ridiculous.
Hahaha as soon as I get my camera out the dice like to curse me
The CC dice look pretty cool, are they available to buy anywhere?
They will be available very soon on Baron of Dice
Hmmm... neither player is killing horses. Something tells me Jacob didn't have time to paint the dismounts 🤔
😂
They did try to kill a horse, and even said he'd be replaced by a foot unit if it happened at 28:16
@VorTheRhino made this comment before getting to this point in the video. I still stand by my theory because you almost always want to kill horses first to potentially get the charge bonuses next turn. @@ConquestCreations hahaha you can't keep your wizard secrets from the comment section 🤣
Just a small thing but feedback is feedback. Evil players should use evil dice, good players should use good dice to clearly identify who’s dice roll is who
Thanks for the feedback. Little ones like this are super helpful, thats a really easy fix for us
Lacob Jucas make Harad terrain

Will you be using Wraith Helm at all?
Absolutely, I have the miniature on my painting desk right now!
@ConquestCreations looking forward to it! Especially your narrative! Did you watch the extended trailer footage? We are in for such an amazing movie with Helm I cannot wait to be in Cinemas again for a beloved reason
Shouldn’t Haleth of had 5 attacks? 3 base, 1 for the challenge and 1 for charging on a horse?
Thanks for the comment, you only get an extra attack on the cavalry charge against Infantry models.
Poor Wulf's sword T_T
Sorry for being a total newb, but what edition iteration is this?
The new one (which releases to the rest of us in a couple weeks)
It's the 7th SBG edition. 2nd MESBG edition
Between the dunland heroes and the scenario rules for dead warriors coming back to life, seems like a highly unfair scenario, even for narrative scenarios 🤔. Nice video tho
lets gooo
Are you supposed to roll for every dead Hillman model every round, even those that died multiple turns before? I thought those effects were usually only for models that died in the previous round. There's no way for Rohan to hold out against this if evil gets all those models back every turn.

Didn’t GM get rid of dunland into legacy? Odd that they’ve done that and then released this with all the new dunland models and heroes
They moved most of the pre existing Dunland into legacies and it is being replaced by the Dunland from the movie
Rohan cant roll dice for toffee!
Hahaha I am cursed whenever I play on my own channel
"huge"😅
Subtitles please
Bro, what a dumb scenario, just pure rolls RNG.
