One of my absolute favorite memories ever involving the front gate of Minas Tirith is the level in the Return of the King PC game where you play as Gandalf atop the walls commanding Trebuchets to take down siege towers, shooting away Ring Wraiths, and knocking down siege ladders, all while slicing apart Uruks. I feel like there's an amazing video scenario in there for this even though it wasn't ever in the movies. I know there's a scenario for atop the walls in the Gondor at War supplement but I think its a bit lackluster for a video.

In terms of bat-reps the ambush in Ithilien could be very cinematic with the Harad troops trying to get off the board as a battle objective.
Personally I’d love to see the Easterlings invasion of Dale and Erebor depicted!

If I can make a suggestion: make more detailed videos on specific parts of the board, that would be shorter, maybe 30 minutes, and it would be easier to see the evolution of a Battle in a specific part of this EPIC scenario 😊

Very cool narrative battle! Very flavourful, and fun. Even though a lot of emphasis was given to rules to make the Ringwraith as irrelevant as possible, which makes my evil heart sad.
The editing at 29:39 is incredible and made me giggle. His looney tunes legs going backwards, I am imagining the sound effects. Like Scooby Doo zipping off when he sees the monster.
The siege bow at 31:35 needed to roll scatter to maybe drift within 3" and if it wounded that Captain with it's initial shot, would instant kill him unless he Fates it as it is a siege engine on battlefield target that lacks D10 or 10W stat.
Agree that the elf rope should stick around for the turn and allow allies to succeed the same test as him - silly that only Samwise could or would wander off and ditch Master Frodo without throwing him a line.
Faramir really proved his mettle this day in the fights he participated. The captain has indeed returned.

This is one of the best battle reports ever made.
I would love to see some Isengard action moving forward. Perhaps Merry and Pippin have to try and escape while Eomér rides on in to kill of the Uruk-hai. One could also add a twist where Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli joins the battle If it goes on for long enough!
Not sure about the actual name because I’m forgetful but the battle at the beginning of the story with Sauron, Isildur, ect would be fun
Easier said than done, but you've got to try and get WETA staff to play on these boards, that would be such a fun video to watch.

I would love to see a battle on your Grey Havens board! I was thinking Elves protecting the Grey Havens from Goblins or Corsairs like the battles in the Battle for Middle Earth game.

I've been watching for years and I dont want to see the Zorpazorp channel die so I'm going to give my criticism. It's too cinematic. I understand the desire to make the videos all polished and 'epic' but I find it too much. The clips from the original movies are used way too much and just slows down the videos dramatically. It took 4 minutes on this video to actually see any pieces moving due to the cinematic buildup. This is just my opinion so take it or leave it but I know a few friends who have stopped watching alltogether because they just get too bored watching the same clip over and over. Don't take this the wrong way, I have loved your videos and want to see you succeed but just had to give my criticism.
Lovely, thanks a bunch. My personal opinion, is that I don't need the "film bits". It makes the video longer and looses focus from the game. We want more battle reports!

Perhaps a bit more scene setting at the start of a battle report; let the camera rove around the terrain and pick out key pieces; give a sense of the whole if possible (perhaps an annotated map to show every so often with arrows pointing to the action?). Talk about the scenario and each side's commander discuss their strategy and tactics - especially referencing any use of the wonderful terrain. It is great to see engagements being fought over such lovely terrain.

Forget the name of it, but the battle in the second one, the Wargs charge v the Rohan. Not sure how that will look as a battle report. But a big cavalry smash could be interesting.

This is one of my favourite battle reports I think iv watched it 3 times before. I don’t know why it didn’t do well the whole point of building the epic boards is to see some epic games once they are built. Keep up the great work can wait to see the rohirim back in action some day
