AC/DC Live At River Plate was recorded in Buenos Aires in December 2009 when nearly 200,000 fans (over 3 sold-out nights) thunderously welcomed AC/DC back after a 13-year absence from Argentina.
This was an awesome performance and the fans were lit 🔥
3 nights, 270k tickets sold, and how many got in for free, snuck in, comp tickets, bumrush ticket takers probably closer to 300k total for 3 nights. No lipsync, no auto tune. Only hard core talent and lots of sweat.

AC/DC played 3 straight nights at River Plate in Dec 2009 to a total of 220,000+ ppl so that’s 73,000+ a night!!!!! Brian Johnson the lead singer was 63, Angus Young the lead guitarist was 55 and the rest of the boys were in their 50’s!!! Legendary is all I can say. These Argentina fans are the best on the planet and they appreciate good hard driving rock and roll. Just look at all the different ages in the crowd. It transcends generations. Unbelievable!!🤣🤣🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸😍😍😍🥳🥳😎😎

My understanding is that it was 200k per night. Maybe you're right. Either way that crowd is huge.

You can’t physically put into words the energy that exists at a concert like this.
You need to experience it one day, and we will welcome you with open arms.
That is one of those concerts where you wish you were there…. The feedback loop between the crowd and the band was just perfect…..That’s what bands like AC/DC live for

I was there when AC/DC played on the back of a flat top truck singing "It's a long way to the top" while travelling down Swanston St In Melbourne when they were just starting out with Bon Scott as the lead singer.
Grew up with them and following them around the Pub Scene all those years ago. Forever in my heart & soul is AC/DC.
Yes mate pour a cold 1 for Bon for sure, would loved to have been in oz in the good days, Barnsey,Dragon, aussie crawl ,midnight oil, ACDC some legendary rockers for sure, kia ora from kiwiland🤘
@@shanefraser7764 Saw Dragon at Bombay Rock in Surfers Paradise in the mid-80s, from the transom above the stage. Marc and Todd in full flight that evening. Not bad for a bunch of blow-ins from across the ditch😉

I saw ACDC in San Francisco, Angus crowd surfed on his back playing his solo, he went from one side of the stadium to the other. It was insane. ACDC is my #1 all-time favorite rock band. In my opinion, at least for me, they are epic because they never allowed the music executive to polish their sound, their garage band sound is like a freight train. Gotta love it!

I grew up with rock songs bcoz of my dad...now I'm 26 and first time seeing this AC DC concert in river plate ...it really give me goosebumps.
I've met Brian Johnson... I know this term gets thrown around alot, but he is an absolute Gentleman. So humble, so funny and soo bloody charming. Chatted to him for about 5 minutes about music and It felt so surreal that he just felt like a normal guy.
This concert was on the 30 year anniversary of the release of this song. Angus Young is still one of the greatest guitarists of all time.
My favourite River Plate song was Rock n Roll Train, the crowd were insane.
I’ll have to check that one out for you haven’t done it yet

This was a hit in 1977, with their first singer, Bon Scott died. We all thought the band was over, but they brought Brian Johnson in and continued to make hits. Who knew they would be around for years and years.

Land down under has, and had, some great artists... if I try to name them, I will forget somebody (Nick Cave, Midnight Oil, Crowded House, INXS, Kylie, Cindy Lauper... I'm shure I left out somebody)
This song has the ability to make anyone feel powerful no matter what task is being done while listening to it lol.
I was home in Sydney not long before Malcolm Young passed away (I grew up only 20mins drive from where he and Angus grew up albeit they are alot older). Malcolm was on the front page of the paper with his carer when he obviously had dementia it was so sad and disrespectful to see an Australian icon reduced to gutter press to sell newspapers it broke my heart

Saw these guys in concert a couple of times back in the 70's. They were one of my favorite bands growing up. They have aged a little, as have I but can still do their thing!

I seen them every time they came to Detroit in the 80s and early 90s my ears would ring for 2 days after, they were the loudest at that time and yes I’m hard of hearing now! ONE OF BEST CONCERTS, Kiss Destroyer Tour 1976 was the Best I ever seen hands down. My dad may he RIP took me for thy Birthday when I was 10, good times!

Originally just sitting in for Bon Scott and his legacy. Brian, the pride of Newcastle helped turn it into something greater than anyone could ever imagine.
You cannot imagine what it is like at one of these concert if you were never at one. The floor is actually moving and if it is indoors, the walls are vibrating!
AC/DC Rocks!!!!! I will be 60 in September but love me some head banging sounds... LOL...Beth by Kiss (first concert my parents took me to... lol) Kiss can Rock out...and can pack the crowds..yes I do Love me some Gene Simmons tongue action... LOL
