There’s a live AC/DC concert that I saw on DVD from the 80s from a show where they headlined and Metallica was their opening act. That’s how big these guys were. They had Metallica as a warm up act.
That was a "Concert Weekend" in Moscow at exactly the time of the breakup of the USSR. Free tickets to the first ever Tour by Western Rock Bands. It was held on an airfield, you can see the soldiers shitting themselves because of the size of the crowd, Military helicopters flying low overhead....people as far as the eye could see, estimated at well over a million for the weekend

AC/DC has been around longer, more hits and far superior. Touring next year 48 years and going.

And on top of that, that show sold out 3 times! So literally over half a million people sgowed up there.

Early this year the canning highway in western australia was closed for the day and we celebrated ACDC "the highway to hell” which this song was written for.
There is so much more AC/DC you guys need to listen too. Thunderstruck, Shook me all night long. Whole lotta Rosie. Back in Black. Dirty Deeds done dirt Cheat, and so many more. Every song is a banger.
AC/DC rocked over 250,000 in 3 sold out nights at this concert.
So cool, that they are selling out these arenas, at their age. There was like 60,000 people at this concert. They are Legends!
80000 each night, 3 nights in a row. Each time that AC/DC comes to Argentina, they usually play more than one night. And in that time they were recording a DVD, so they perform 3 consecutive nights. They were sold out in hours and the concerts were a huge party

Malcolm Young, the bass guitarist and backup singer retired in 2014, and died in 2017. Bon Scott, was the lead singer until his death in 1980. Brian Johnson was the lead singer from 1980 until his retirement in 2016
