    My improvement has been ~static~ in these scenarios for a while. I watched this vid and improved one of my voltaic benchmarks by 3 kills. Closing in on jade. Thanks for your insight Matty!

    Thanks Matty, this video made me realize why I am good at micro flicks but not larger flicks. It's because I'm not actually flicking because I'm too scared to land too far off the target.

      I have the opposite problem where my micro flicks take too long when I’m trying to be precise and my hand tenses up. Do you have any tips on how to practice micro flick?

  • @clatzeo
    @clatzeo 5 месяцев назад +1

    I am still debating, but I have came into some conclusions.
    1). Your neurons which helps you do the muscle memory things require your do it identical movements to build mylein sheaths over the neural pathways. Search it up, I'm not yapping guys. This means the slow, but accurate movements that you want are needed to make that neruonal strength.
    2). If you never try, you will never be able to train it. Meaning, flicking like you tell in the video is extremely needed in the training sessions in order to actually have your brain practice it. If you never do those flicking, how are you even practicing? And if you're not practicing the exact thing that you want to perform, will you ever improve?
    So yes that method is important to practice. The dynamic speed is needed.
    But I can still argue that slower, smooth movements has its place in making things more solid, accurate.
    Beginners should practice more of slow-precise movements and then go to the flicking method.
    People are in better position, so practice both.
    When you are in "mastered" position, practice the flicking thing more than the precise-sloe technique.
    This is the conclusion I've reached.

    How do I start actually flicking vs. what I was doing in the past? I am having the 1st issue and I am not sure how to get over it, especially in clicking scens on the VT benchmark. I can do the reflex scenarios while flicking but when it comes to 1wXt scenarios, it screws me.

    if play on a "faster" sense and i don't quite know if i am actually flicking. it just doesn't feel like a flick ingame at all. you know the window wiper motion over at least half of the pad. if i use that sens in training the scenarios becomes rather tiring. i wonder what a healthy cm/360 is to run the static benchmarks. i am currently jade in vt benchmarks and i definitely hit a plateau trying to go over a certain amount of dots(right around 130-140 seems to be my max).

    FOV for static?

  • @sirsiver
    @sirsiver Год назад

    I'm currently plat in voltaic but i fell like i don't improve in static clicking, even if i do older clicking scenarios that i used to do 1 or 2 years ago (i allways trained for 1~ month and dropped for like 7 or 8 months) the scores are the same.
    It's demotivating since i'm spending hours on something where i have few if no improvement, i'm trying this metod and i have to say that i fell more control but still not big improvements

    • @nnekoa

      idk if you’re still aim training but what helped me go from plat to masters in a month was really practicing with intent and fully challenging myself. You cant just play the scenario the same way every time and expect results, you need to realize what you’re doing wrong so you can improve it. That be flicking, by practicing speed or playing wide wall scenarios. Or if its micro adjustments, try to play smaller scenarios that force you to get good at micro adjustments.
