I’ve been covering my 2016 Miata interior in a forest green leather before I stumbled across your channel, but what an absolute gold mine of useful tips your channel has been! From stenciling with tracing paper, to using a hotknife for cutting creases and just tucking two pieces into that crease instead of sewing together an actual seam and adding a bunch of unnecessary material. Killer channel, what a legend for sharing your knowledge for free 🤙 much love from Texas!
@@customstitchd I haven't used it but it looks very similar, I has a shorter working time but comes in 22L, so is a little bit cheeper. If you try it let me know how you get on with it. I may give it a try when my T 30 runs out.
hi yes it looks to be the problem ,the glue its stuck solid to the roof but the lining that i used has become unstuck to the glue and the front of the lining has slowly separated from its backing so iv had to pull it out , i did use a high temp trim glue but it appears not the right one

Thanks the support
You make it look so easy. Gives me the false confidence I can do my door panels in my old k10 suburban. (I know it wouldnt bode well)
you can always give it a try
I think I will. I need to watch more of your videos first. I worry about clearance issues from roll down windows handles/door handles.
Wow! Fantastic - Best of British Craftsmanship
Thanks for that Ash

Beautiful work
Thank you! Cheers!
Cracking job!
Thanks Richard
Very impressive. Nice idea with the hot knife to create more of a gap for the leather 👍
I tried to cut the groove with a saw and a knife on the previous set, but that was a bit if a faff. The hot knife did a much better job
@@coastalcushionco8227 I looked into the suppliers of the glue you used on these cards today. Who do you buy from?
@@customstitchd www.thegluepeople.co.uk/
@@coastalcushionco8227 Have you tried tensogrip L71, Ive been told its a similar product?

i also meant to say that i have learnt a reason why the roof lining came down on mr range rover camper
Wrong glue?

You can buy the correct glue in one litre tins but isn’t a spray glue
Nicely done workmanship ( even though the owner’s “taste” is a bit questionable )…👍
All taste is subjective so questionable
