- Wooo this is a long one boys and girls. I've been inspired lately by the restoration subculture on youtube. Most of the work tends to be very lengthy and ASMR focused. I hope you like this one! It took me a little bit to put together, but I enjoyed the filming process!

This video is what originally brought me to your channel. That said, I waited to actually watch this episode until I made my way all the way from Episode 1. I'm so glad I did, as I am loving your series. The ASMR style of this one is amazing. I've always known that I'm a visual learner but this confirms it. No dialog, no instructions, and I'm 100% positive I could tackle this project on my upcoming RRC build no problem just by watching you do it. Thanks for making this one.
The open pore look really complements the aesthetic of the dash, amazing work.
Hey hey! Yah! I’m not a huge fan of the original glossy finishes. Thanks man! 🥳
Really nicely done.
Cheers Andy!
That looked so rewarding, very satisfying to watch you bring it back to life
Ahh yeah! Took a little longer than expected, but once I had it in, all was right with the world! 😌
Aye! Thanks for stopping by!
love the break in the peace when you scream....ahhhh this is so messy!!!! lol
Hahahaha! I debated heavily on leaving that in or not. Feel like it certainly needed it. Most everything else was pretty therapeutic though! 😂

Oh cheers and Welcome! I Love the old Alfa GTVs too! Would love to restore on myself in the future. Stay tuned!
Turned out well!
Hey hey! Thanks David!
Very nice, reminds me of my 87!
Interesting because, the 87 and I think the 88's had more wood (plank) look in the doors (cards) and dashboard than later classics. The lighter color is 'fine'! Sean, what did you do as a finisher on the veneer?
@@Olyller hey hey! Mines a 93! I love the look of the older door styles with the wood sitting right at the bottom of the window sills. I used a little linseed oil to finish the surfaces. Still needs a couple more coats, but I like the overall flat look ✊🏻
Awesome Job!
Thanks Aakash!

You should have filled the edges with walnut putty
