@@coastalcushionco8227 cool to watch, but you need some tunes to play during the high speed edit. the grunts and breathing sound super weird at 4x or whatever

Maybe during your conception but musicians are lazy bums.

I watch a lot of YT and want to applaud your efforts to show your process. Simple & beautiful. I love tradespeople or artists really, who answer the question, “why,” so completely.
Thanks
Great to see your skills and expertise. It's good to know we still have true craftsmen in the country .
Yes still some of us still out there.
Definitely would like mine indoors, to look like that! Very very nice work.
Thanks 👍
@@coastalcushionco8227 can I post you a steering wheel to quote on, it’s only recover, as was originally leather, also, later we have some more work for you. We value fantastic work and craftsmanship
This is a man that has mastered a craft and is a honor to watch. Great quality work Sir. Godspeed!
Thank you kindly!
With all that fine leather this is where we really need smellOvision ! great work mate
👍🏻
Would’ve loved to see the parts fitted to the actual car. Great work though! True craftsmanship and pure dedication. Great work sir
its getting shipped top the Caribbean for fitting into the car
I was working on my defender today and searching stuff on RUclips- and this popped up- incredible work. Makes my stock interior look even more horrible than usual 😂
I have videos doing the same thing to Defenders. Check them out
In a word "Incredible".
Thanks
Go to a shop, asks for a price, hear it's "expensive", searches on youtube for a "DIY leather wrapping" and suddenly decides to leave the parts in the old beater just like it is 😂. Amazing craftsmanship!!
Thanks
@@coastalcushionco8227My case was a leather color change service and redo some leather. I had no idea how hard and time consuming this is. Thank you for sharing the whole process.
Awesome!! 😍😍😍😍😍 That leather is spectacular, and being able to work/form it with the steamer is great! 👏👏
The adhesive is incredible, and I like that the steamer makes it very pliable 😁😁
Thank you! Cheers!
Wow. That was spectacular work. That wheel looks amazing. Would love to have seen it in the vehicle. Amazing.
Me too it’s still waiting for the customer to come and pick it up
This is very very impressive. I’ve done a bit of this myself on my defender and the issue is corners and holes really. Material that stretches in multiple directions is key and patience!!!
Thanks

Doing this job the right way is harder than it seems, I always try to do DIY things but I would never try to do a job like this even though I have experience with leather, sewing and car related things. This work for me is art!
If it’s not inappropriate I would like to know how much a job like this cost?
About £5000
Clean job, could watch it for hours

Covered the entire Range Rover in leather just so it can sit at the mechanic shop for eternity 🤦♂️
I think it was in the mechanics’s shop while I was doing the interior. So should be good for a little while.

Brilliantly done sir!

It's quite a talent, let alone to do it all so perfectly, I bet it's expensive.
It depends what you think is expensive
I did my first headliner job two days ago.
It's my work truck.
So it wasn't something that had to be perfect.
At least she is okay with the simple fix. I'm good
I do have my land Rover waiting for the headliner to.
After I fix the infamous sunroof leaks addressed first.
Well done 👍🏻
Nice job - a lot of work and a great result... is there ever a part you would use a vacuum bag on to secure the leather to the part when gluing up like the sun visors...? To really pull the material into some of those tight corners and weird shapes...? obviously the patterns are the essential parts to getting the material to the right shape for the part... but does sticking allow more joins and smaller pieces to be used rather than the large continuous covers that have to be pushed into all the nooks & crannies...?
Leather has its limitations, if you over stress it it will want to pull away or in some cases tare. so using a vacuum bag is only useful on easier shaped pieces and when using glue that goes off slowly.
Even in hi speed this looks like a lot of work!
It is
"Genius is an infinite capacity for taking pains."
(ie. for taking the time and putting in the effort to do every little thing.)
👍🏻
Absolutely amazing video mate, enjoyed watching this.

Wow, you're a master at your craft! Thanks for sharing...

How long does it take to do this entire job? Great work!
This was about 200 hours
So, do the math. Many of today’s talented artisans are not making a killing keeping this alive - they take the hit so that it will still be done. I grew tired of people balking at such numbers when asking for handcrafted things. It really isn’t expensive for what you get.
Applause. Wow!
Thanks
Lovely. I hope you have an apprentice.
No do it all by myself
@@coastalcushionco8227it’s easier to do things requiring great skill by yourself when you have the great skill. But we hope you don’t let your great skill die with you. You have the makings of a legacy in your hands. God bless you and your legacy.
