hate to be that guy, but as actually pretty well-written as i think this is, i do want to point out the thing itself came out back in 1993, whereas the sonic boom series started all the way forward in 2014. though, maybe you simply intend to say *not* that this would happen if the machine was localized at the same time, *but* that this would, instead, happen if the machine was localized at present-day (which, speaking of, i know this comment was many years ago, at the time we didn't have things like the movie and frontiers. but if we were to speak about right now, by the time i'm typing this, i doubt they'd brand it after boom anymore. it would more likely be themed on the sonic movie sequel, which is coming out very soon) now, knowing sonic's american branding back in '93, i'd feel that a hypothetical "english" version of the machine at the time would moreso be themed towards something like aosth or satam. it doesn't necessarily have to change up the visuals, but at least it would change the voices to the cast heard in these shows.

The factory is supposed to be catching up fire, which means it's the Machine Malfuction ending. Truth: The shop is on fire, but there are no fire animations. The animators were just lazy to animate fire in a SegaSonic game.
