I am deeply obsessed with this dish at my local hawaiian restaurant... I will still buy their wings, but now I want to make the sauce and put it on everything lol

Do you make 2 bowls of sauce? Wondering if the sauce you poured on the finish chicken was the same sauce you dipped the raw chicken before going into the fryer?

Made this last night following your recipe! Everything was delish! It reminded me almost of Zippys garlic/korean chicken as soon as I ate it last night! Today when I had some for lunch it definitely tasted close to garlic chicken from Mitzuken! (probably cuz I let it sit in the sauce over night) So really everything was A-MAZING!! Thanks for posting these video's. I know I have commented on your other videos saying Ive tried it and I probably will do so when I try more of your recipes out just to give legit feedback, but I moved from HI to CO and been missing local food so I love your channel! Keep posting! Aloha!

I don’t have a deep fryer, can I bake the chicken then toss in sauce? Have you ever done that before?

I'm sure you can bake the chicken, but I haven't tried it myself so I can't give you some pointers for it. Sorry!

"Mr. Yoshida's" brand teriyaki sauce is probably the best bottled brand on the market in my opinion. Most super markets carry it and our Costco here in So. Cal has it too. Marinate your chicken over night, BBQ it the next day, and enjoy. It's really good!

After tossing it with the sauce you should pan fry that on a hot wok.

Looks really good. Love your recipes that remind me of home. Why so much sauce if only going to use about a cups worth between dredge and final toss?

Mahalo! Hmmm that's what I thought too, but I liked the extra sauce for to pour over my rice hahaha. You could always cut the recipe in half if you don't like the extra sauce. Or as another food for thought (no pun intended), you could get extra flavor by marinading the chicken with the extra sauce. So, marinade first, then dredge, dip it again in the sauce, dredge one more time, then fry. Would be extra steps, but could come out with more of the flavor.

It looks delicious, but at the same time, the chicken is burn. But I'm a try this recipe. Thanks
