Thank you for this recipe. My son loves to eat cake noodle from Chinese restaurant, but now I can make it at home. One question, where can I get the noodles from? Do regular grocery stores have them?

Cheap packages of instant ramen noodles work. Just drain the cooked ramen noodles through a colander.

But to use less saturated palm oil, which is used in almost all instant ramen 🍜 noodles, whatever origin, use dried noodles and hydrate. Also instant ramen is extremely salty! But juz sayyyying ya know??? I love vegan ramen noodle bowls.....

All the restaurants here just call it Hong Kong style crispy noodles. And sometimes they aren't even that crispy. 😭 Cake noodles is way more fun.
