Favorite 80s film is Back to the Future. Thanks for the chance!
Great choice and no problem thanks for entering.
My Name Is Nobody is probably my favorite Western, that song gets stuck in my head for days every time I watch it. Favorite 80s movie? There's too many choices! I think a safe pick is Princess Bride, but man, whole series of movies came out in the 80s, it's crazy to try to pick just one. I hope you've been well!
Great choices buddy! The 80s are tough to choose just one film. A top 100 is all classics. I’m doing pretty well, can’t really complain. You actually won a code a week ago if you would like to claim it!
Congrats on receiving a real Terminator script! Man, that Young Guns 4k steelbook is really nice! Lions Gate made sure all aspects of the packaging was done right from the outer slipcase, outer steelbook, inner steelbook and discs. Not to mention those cards! Awesome! I'm gonna have to get this. Fun movie and I want to see and hear it in it's 4k glory.
Thank you! It’s one of the best gifts i’ve ever received! Lionsgate really makes some of the best steelbooks with their slip sleeves that they put over the regular steelbook and how it ties into the art of the film. The gun shot holes were a really nice touch and the 4K disk really is a good one. I think you’ll really love it.
Die Hard is my favorite 80s movie just saw the re release today it's excellent still
Unforgiven (1992) is my favorite western film
That’s my choice also Rick!
The NeverEnding Story is my fav 80s movie
that’s a great one! Stranger things brought that one back a round for me.
Stand By Me is my favorite in the 80s
I really love Stand by me. I actually want to grab that New 4K steelbook of it.
My favorite movie of the 80s' is STAR TREK 2: WRATH OF KHAN and favorite western is OUTLAW JOSEY WHALES.
Those are great choices. I’m actually going to watch The Star Trek movies at the beginning of the year.
Top Gun is my favorite from the 80s
Talk to me goose!
Favorite western, the original True Grit with John Wayne.
That one is a classic, I actually like both versions of the film. The original is still the better movie though.
I’m a huge fan of sci-fi so as far as my favorite westerns they are probably Serenity and Cowboys&Aliens. If no Country for Old Men Counts then I could go with that one too.
It’s tough to pick a favorite from the 80’s so I’ll go with a few I really like, Willow, Roadhouse, Indiana Jones, Bloodsport, Empire Strikes Back, etc.
I think No country for old men counts because it still has that western tone. I know it’s tough to pick a favourite 80s movie, It’s like picking your favourite kid lol.
It's really hard to choose a favorite 80s movie, but I'm going with The Empire Strikes Back.
Yea I know it’s like trying to pick a favorite kid lol. The empire strikes back is still the best Star Wars movie so that’s an awesome choice.
The Princess Bride is my favorite 80s movie 😊
That’s a great choice! A timeless classic.
From the 1980s, my favorite is E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial
Still my favorite Spielberg movie! It’s not even just Nostalgia, It’s just a great film!
Got to go with Blazing Saddles. While Airplane doesn't feel like 80's movie it came out 1980 so I've got to go with that too.
Excellent choices! I was wondering what route you would go with 80s comedy. Airplane is pretty high on my 80s comedy list. It’s endlessly rewatchable with despite what people might say, the jokes hold up great lol
I love this film. That steel book looks like a lovely edition John! Glad to hear there's some special features too!
The Steel book is really well done and those extras were a surprise. They even had recent interviews which we never get with movies like this.
For the 80s probably the shining.
It’s one of the best for sure. One of favorite Horror films ever.
Tombstone is my favorite Western
Great choice! Thats definitely one of the best.
Nothing beats Top Gun in my book
I feel the need, The need for speed!! Woooooo
Empire strikes back looks excellent on 4K ans the 80s best one of them all
It absolutely is and still the best Star wars film.
My favorite 1980's film is Ghostbusters!
I always love going back to Ghostbusters, I think second one is a great movie also.
The Goonies is my favorite movie from the 80's
Good choice, Not my favorite but i’m glad you picked it!
My favorite Western is The Hateful Eight 😀
I was waiting for someone to pick The Hateful Eight! Great choice.
Palance won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance as Curly in City Slickers.
A well deserved award too. That’s just not my favourite of his performances but he’s always great.
Stand by me is a great 80s film, in my opinion. Thanks for the giveaway.
No problem thanks for entering and Stand by me is a great movie!
Batman from 1989 is my favorite
That’s one of my all time favorites! Good call Andrew.
The outsiders. Thanks for the chance
No problem buddy thanks for entering.
My favorite is The Magnificent Seven
Great choice buddy!
My favorite 80s film is Red Dawn and my favorite western is Rio Bravo.
Both great choices Jason. I need to get that Rio Bravo 4k. It really is a great movie.
Rio Bravo looks great on 4k!
@JedEckert I have to definitely get it then.
Favorite 80s movie Back to the Future! Great video
Thanks buddy!! Good choice as well.
My favorite 80s movie honesty the Terminator as a whole
I couldn’t agree more! It’s a masterpiece!
Predator is my favorite 80s film
Love Predator!!
My favorite western has to be the good the bad and the ugly it's that good plus the iconic theme
That’s one that is in my Top 5. It’s one of those classics where you watch it and you just get why it’s so loved.
Hell or High Water is a recent favorite of mine
That’s a great choice. Actually one of my favourites over the last 10 years.
My favorite 80's movie is The Shining
The shining is one of my favorites from the 80s also.
My favorite Western is True Grit :D
Great choice! I love both versions.
Die Hard is my favorite movie from the 80s
It’s one of the best action films ever!
My favorite movie from the 80s is Halloween 3
I love that movie! One of my personal favorites.
My favorite 80s film is the original batman film
That’s one of my all time favorites! Love the choice
My favorite is Django Unchained!
I love that movie! I have to watch it every year.
Honestly my favorite western would have to be between the two young guns movies. They're really the only ones I've ever watched. Westerns are a big gap in my film watches.
I understand that, they’re both really fun and enjoyable movies. I have a pretty big gap when it comes to musicals. I try and watch a few each year to catch up. But they’re usually not my thing lol.
Well I’m sure I’ve mentioned it here many times before but my favorite movie of all time is Tombstone so it kind of covers both questions since it’s from ‘83. However for the sake of fun I’ll throw out some other favorites. Open Range with Costner, Robert Duvall and Annette Bening is very good and the remake of 3:10 to Yuma with Russell Crowe and Christian Bale is as well. And one from a couple years ago called Old Henry. It’s a slow burn but I loved the twist. And a couple others from the 80’s that are in my top 10 all time are The Goonies and Stand By Me. Lastly, very cool Terminator script, congrats!
Thanks James, I was blown away but that script. I knew you would pick Tombstone and i’m glad you did. It’s endlessly rewatchable with I think is Val Kilmer’s best performance. I don’t think I saw Old Henry but i’ll have to check it out since we don’t get to many westerns anymore. Maybe one a year. The Sisters brothers from a couple years ago was good though.
@@LetsTalkEntertainmentMedia Yea I went in to Old Henry completely blind and knew nothing about it. I love when I don’t see the ending coming and am surprised. If you don’t mind a slow pace with build up then I’d say give it a shot. Westerns aren’t for everybody but they can be very good when done right.
@jambou8580 I love slow burn westerns. I just love the western genre. It’s kind of upsetting we don’t get them much anymore because if you make a good one they can get you emotionally. I’m definitely going to check out Old Henry.
@@LetsTalkEntertainmentMedia Well worth a watch, let me know what you think.
@jambou8580 I definitely will James! Thank you.
Lethal Weapon
Hilarious, badass, heartwarming, and just funny as a whole
That’s actually one of my Personal favorites! Shamrock and I are going to do a show on that movie.
Best 80s mins had to be Predator was excellent especially the monster as a whole
That’s pretty high on my 80s list too. John McTiernan had a great run of movies in the late 80s and early 90s.
My favorite is once upon a time in the west.
That’s my second favorite of all time!
The Terminator from the 80s looks and sounds great!
Well that’s my favourite movie ever so I support that choice!
@@LetsTalkEntertainmentMedia I know you got the script for it
So you know then that your answer is the correct one loll
My favorite 80s.has to be Ghostbusters as a whole
That is definitely one of the films that defines the 1980s.
@@LetsTalkEntertainmentMedia it really does
Rango 2011 favorite Western
I’ve heard people debate that this can’t be a western because it’s animated. Which is crazy because this is a great western.
Django Unchained
It's an excellent movie with great performance by Jamie Fox. Plus I like Quintin Tarantino many films
That’s a great choice! I also love that movie and pretty much any Tarantino film.
@@LetsTalkEntertainmentMedia thank you
It's definitely a fun movie overall
Great score and songs
Great action
Humor
Emotional moments
It's has an excellent story overall
@RougeOne2006 Thant’s one of the Tarantino movies that have at the lower end of the top 5 but your right it works on every level. Even the gore is so over the top but it works so well for this movie.
@@LetsTalkEntertainmentMedia agreed
My favourite movie from the 80s is probably "The Empire Strikes Back" and my favourite Western would be either "Unforgiven", "True Grit" (1969) or "The Outlaw Josey Wales" (with an honorable mention going to "Rio Bravo"). That's an awesome steelbook for "Young Guns" !
They really went all out on it. The bullet holes are a nice touch. Great choice on the westerns. Most of those need 4K releases, Rio Bravo has one but I still need to get it.
True Grit (2010)
Great choice my friend!
My favorite western is The Assassination of Jesse James by the coward Robert Ford
I love that movie and it has some of the best cinematography ever.
Lionsgate doesn't have the rights for the 2nd one if memory serves me correctly... I see the 2nd one having been put out by both Warner and Sony throughout US and Europe so would proberly be up to one of them.
Is that what is causing them to not give us the second one? Hopefully they work out the rights deal to give us the second one. Thanks for that information buddy.
@@LetsTalkEntertainmentMedia I have no idea what the deal is with the rights to be honest... I also see a Bluray release of both combined in 1 amaray in the UK so, but yea I'm not expecing the 2nd one to get a 4k rel anytime soon.
@TheBluCorner That’s disappointing but I understand. I was really hoping the second one would come out next year. I kind of like the second one more lol
@@LetsTalkEntertainmentMedia I do too, and think that's proberly the case with most people.
The best western has to be
This movie called Good, Bad and the Ugly
Probably the best Spaghetti western ever made! Such a classic.
😅 young guns is still my favorite western film
It’s an 80s classic.
@@LetsTalkEntertainmentMedia agreed
I hope that’s a holy grail piece for you.
It is the Holly Grail piece for me now for sure! I’m going to read it then I want to get a nice case for it so I can put it on display. Thanks again Kevin!!
The Treasure of the Sierra Madre and Die Hard
Both awesome choices!!!
The Goonies
Not my favorite but a good choice.
As you know i love a western but i have not seen young guns for years tbh mate i do own the double film Blu-ray , shameless 🔌 but my top ten Xmas movies video is up tomorrow 😅🎅🏼📺🎥🎄🎁
In looking forward to that! I always love a Christmas Top 10 list! I’ll definitely be checking it out.
Django Unchained!
Love it!!!
With that script you and Faith can act out scenes.
I’d love to but she probably won’t do it lol
Crap I forgotten to enter
My favorite western is going to a comdey A million ways to die in the wild west its stupid and I like it
I actually enjoyed that too! Seth Macfarlane explains how bad the old west is hysterical lol
@@LetsTalkEntertainmentMedia hm good point
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
A great choice! Love this movie.
Die Hard is my favorite 80s movie just saw the re release today it's excellent still
It’s so good! I rewatched it last week and when it was over I said to my wife how do you give a movie like that less the 5 stars. It’s perfect.
