- In this video I show how I carry my daughter in a Stretchy wrap on my back using the Double Hammock Back Carry and a superman toss to move her onto my back.
There are many ways of getting baby onto your back, and there are different ways of tying this carry that work with different flexibility levels. It is well worth seeking face to face help if you want to master this. Also note that with a Stretchy wrap, it is particularly key to tighten well. And generally can be a bit harder to master than compared to the same tie with a woven wrap. You can see why at the end of the video when I ask Rachel to try to climb out!
Thank you so much for sharing this! My son used to love to be carried but I couldn’t figure out how to wear him other than in front. He’s a large 18 month old, so seeing you with your daughter gives me confidence to try this out
Hope he enjoys it!
I’m not a mom, but I babysit my baby cousins very often and learning various wraps has helped me so much throughout their development. I don’t have anyone to teach me face to face, so I watch videos like these and practice on my stuffed animals before attempting the wraps on the children. Thank you so much for helping people like us, I loved the video!
This is awesome, you’re both so adept, it’s beautiful. You’re our heroes while Freya and I learn. Thank you for sharing your skills.
Thank you for your kind words! I am glad the videos are helpful. It is all just practise, Rach and I look adept only because we have done this many times in many different wraps and carriers. I wish I had a video of when we started so I could show that it really is just practise and finding your groove 🥰
This is unrelated but your baby has a beautiful name 🌷

I will try this method out. My little one likes to wiggle out of the wrap, this method seems much more secure 👍
Did it work? Really hope it helped!
