  • Talking you through a rucksack backcarry with a hipscoot.
    Using a long woven wrap. This carry is an option for shorter (mid-length) woven wraps too.
    Let me know if you have any issues or questions, hoping to do a troubleshooting video on the Rucksack backcarry too!

    Thank you so much for your tutorials! Thanks to you I am able to carry my second born child without trouble. Because of covid-19 most carrying appointments have been cancelled during the autumn. You are so clear and makes it easy. Thank you!

    I like your videos a ton, but I am an audio learner and sometimes have had trouble following. This video was really helpful for me in making her seat. I feel like I've leveled up. Thanks so much!

    Thanks for the tutorial! You said in the beginning that for babies that like to straighten their legs you would recommend another carry - I’ve got that problem with my 8months old and I’m on the lookout for another option since she doesn’t feel comfortable in the rucksack carry..

      Try a back wrap cross carry, Christina's reckless or secure high backcarry

    Oh man. My little one would have woken up with all that movement. But I loved wrapping my baby when she was tiny. Now she is almost two and very wiggly. I don't know if she would let me wrap her anymore.

      Yes it's harder when they are wriggly :)

    Thanks for the great tutorial, I love your videos and always share it with friends because I want more people to use woven wraps.
    When my little one is asleep,her head always falls back (in Rucksack or Double Hammock), no matter what I try. I often use a cloth to secure her head but I don't like it that much. What would you recommend?

      Did you try to retighten after she fell asleep? Adding a Scarf or something separate helps too. I'll probably do a video on it in the future 😅

    You say in the beginning that for babies that like to stretch their legs this knot is not suitable, could you suggest some knots (of which you have videos of course) that would be suitable for babies that stretch their legs for a back carry?

      Back wrap cross carry is one of my favorite options. The bunched Version, too. BWCC is the short Name for the carry. Christina's ruckless, high secure backcarry. 🍀

    You mentioned in the video that this form of carrying is not suitable for babies who like to straighten their legs, which way would fit in carrying on your back?💜

      Back wrap cross carry is a great option for those !

    I am asking a question here that I already posted under one of your Instagram reels, but how old is your child in this video? I have 18 month-old twins and I have been tandem carrying them for about 3 weeks; we still need a lot of practice and I have a lot to learn!

    • @Wrapyouinlove
      @Wrapyouinlove  2 года назад

      He was around 3.5 here 🥰

    I’m having trouble back carrying with a woven wrap and keep coming back to the tula.
    She’s a very wiggly 1 year old
    What would you recommend?

    • @Wrapyouinlove
      @Wrapyouinlove  3 года назад

      Tula is a great option. Or try the back wrap cross carry or Christina's ruckless if you want to use a woven wrap. Avoid leaning forward too much when wrapping. 🍀

    I have tried and tried tried but my little one just cracks it and pops his seat all the time and then I can't get the middle tight and he sits really low. Do some kids just don't like being on the back or I'm totally doing it wrong. I would like him high he is only a small 9 month old. (8kg).

      This is just not the best option for a seatpopper. Maybe try a secure high backcarry (SHBC)?
