I really enjoyed your own shoulder mounted MG and I'm gonna keep using it, but I do also really like seeing the New Vegas SMMG finally make its return. FO4's heavy weapons have always been particularly lacking and for some reason there aren't too many good mods to fix that so another heavy weapon mod is always welcome.
Listen to shoulder minigun you have a shoulder 50 cal machine gun this is just perfect for both the world from New Vegas and being brought into Fallout 4 makes perfect sense because the military company probably made this and they probably didn't have them enough time for the war
It would have been really cool if you have the heavy select shotgun and also the railroad spikes that should have been as well with the shoulder that just would have been perfect too
I did try to somewhat mimic the balance of the NV smmg while making it actually fit in the game by buffing it slightly. If you look at stuff like the weight, caliber, fire rate or anything similar, it should be more or less the same. The main thing I've adapted for Fo4 is the damage itself and all the new attachments + uniques.
I think the aesthetics of this SMMG really compliments the look of Skibadaa's WH-Mk22/Mk19 and his Minigun's collection. It's a really neat and fun take on the original from New Vegas. Only thing I would've liked more though is for the original reloading animations for the Red Glare to make a return, but I guess that will come as it's own mod some time in the future, given that the weapon design for the Red Glare itself was unique and separate from the shoulder mounted machine gun and standard rocket launcher. The projectiles work as expected though, looks really fun!
I have been waiting so long for a proper recreation in Fallout 4. This has made my entire week. The SMMG was my favorite heavy weapon next to Red Glare.

I wonder if modders could create in-built weapons for power armor, shoulder mounted missile launchers, armi mounted guns and blades etc. Wich are not equipped and fired via the traditional method, but are instead integrated in the Power armor and fired with a different key.
Pretty much instantly downloaded this when I first saw it on the Nexus. Though I had yet to try it out yet and I have to say, this is a LOT cooler than I thought it was going to be. The "Javelin" style targeting lens alone is a really cool addition. Does anyone know if the paintjobs apply to the shield on the Phalanx unique? Whilst the mod doesn't have one yet, it'd be neat if we could get a Brotherhood of Steel paintjob that puts their emblem on the shield.
