Most of my Load order is Weapons and Armor from other Fallout titles, plus some 'Lore-Friendly' additions, like Dak's guns, so mod lists like this are very much up my alley. However, one 'Classic' Fallout Weapon i find myself hoping someone would remake in Fallout 4 is the Fo3 and Fo:NV Missile Launcher, the rusty pipe featured in more recent games looks like a postwar improvised weapon much more so than a purpose built sci-fi anti-tank weapon.
@@wesleyeberly228 While the Pistol is the most famous, there were Gyrojet Rifles and Carbines that mostly use the same system, making the Gyrojet Family basically perfect for Fo4's Weapon System, but all Gyrojet Mods i've seen are pistol only.
I always interpreted the goofy bulky guns in fallout being originally designed for power armor use and the designs becoming popular copies (therefore common in a lot of the wasteland) because the larger parts were easier to copy with little to no precise machining tools also their larger, heavier designs and parts while making them unwieldy for an unarmored user would probably make them pretty durable in the long run which is how I make sense of silly designs like the 10mm SMG and Pistols being common weapons in my head-canon
I like that people are experimenting with different "leveled list integration" triggers than just a straight player level requirement, don't see nearly enough of that.
76 at as RN needs to be a basis of weapon variety for Fallout 5 for sure, same with the creatures , tis a very diverse game in terms of the toys and stuff to fight that I feel 4 had problems with a bit, but yea when I played 76 for the first time and found they remade the SMG I was SO happy
I recently bought F76 since it's on sale and my first thoughts exiting the vault were "wow this is a beautiful land, it would be amazing if I could just rip it out and turn it into a huge Fallout 4 overhaul mod"
It also suffers from the way they scale damage because things get incredibly tanky much quicker than you can respond to it you don't know it's coming. Also the way Fallout 1st compromises the quality of life experience
The one thing they nailed in 76, weapons, map, biomes, creatures small things i wish Bethesda and obsidian would just colab and give us the best of both worlds
@@nuclearbananax It really sucks that so much of the vanilla story got written off as 'just' notes and terminal entries when a lot of it is arguably stronger than Bethesda's usual storytelling with NPC's and interactive dialogue.
I wish somebody would make an accurate medicine stick from New Vegas all of them I've seen are just copies of the lever action rifle and it's kind of disappointing
Actually there already some 76 weapon ports around, since nexus is not allow the mod that direct porting from other Bethesda game, you can Google with those keywords may find some port around
The mod could be down for the time being because im pretty sure Munitions uses custom scripts to add new ammo types into the game files. And since the new update breaks a lot of console mods that edit script for guns and NPCS, I could see it being down for a couple of weeks at maximum. But i may be completely wrong🤷🏻♂️
I do honestly really like the Fallout 76 10mm SMG, not a big fan of the game but getting some of the weapons is sick; it also looks a lot more lore friendly to what I’d expect the 10mm SMG to look I love CIPHERR’s, and the one you and Pig did is sick too; but given space is a premium and I like to download a lot of the Capital Wasteland style guns the Fallout 76 version works a treat And I’m glad that you’re covering it alongside many other mods, I’m really glad you’re still kicking ass and doing cool stuff choomba, I hope you, Pig and Startatakor are doin good and aren’t feeling any burnout 🫡 Thanks for all the work you guys have done for the modding scene boys
ive been looking for a quality ak-112 but i just cant find one that isn't broken or has bugs that ruin the experience, i love lore accurate guns and want more in my load order
Ak112 is one of those old fallout guns that is impossible to translate into 3d well, you can but it would look really ugly, the old 10mm SMG is a good example here.
the 10mm SMG from fallout 1 and 2 don't look that different from their base from 3D depictions to me this mod is the first i have seen that makes it look so drastically different

That interplay 10mm is probably as good as it’s gonna get the 2D models look horrible translated to 3D the classic fallout weapons mod for new Vegas is a prime example

I feel like the Interplay 10mm SMG could have worked as a "BoS 10mm SMG" that was mainly found in the west coast and was brought over by the Prydwin.
In the og games it was mainly used by gangmembers so, eh

9mm pistol looks kinda like a browning Hi-Power and M1911 hybrid. Mostly just the slide and grip that reminded me of it

The PBW plasma pistol don't have the munitions and the F76 10mm smg don't have level list option on the xbox Dak

Micalov’s AK-112 exists

I never understood why Bethesda don't port their 76 weapons/PA into the CC, along with their (respective animations), it seems like easy money.

Love the mods that are on it but in some spots it's bland for the Xbox there just a bunch of adapters for mods that don't work but there are some gems
