power armor in fallout 4 shoulda made intimidations easier like turns a red option to orange cus like who in their rigjt mind would try to antagonize a power armor wearing maniac running around with a portable miniature nuclear warhead launcher
I've got well over 600 hours in the first Fallout and I can't believe I've never noticed that... although some runs I don't use power armor (and instead opt for combat armor and switch to tesla armor). I use Fallout Fixit, which lets you give companions armor, so I usually give the Power Armor to Katja and Tycho to keep them alive a little longer.
It's funny and lore accurate to me how in the first Fallout games people even question themselves if there is a living creature inside that power armor xd, it makes sense, since in those games the two major factions with access to these technologies are only the BoS and the Enclave, in Fallout 1 and 2 the BoS is basically isolated with no contact with the outside world and the Enclave were practically hidden in an oil rig until began stablishing in a small base on the east, and... considering the intro of Fallout 2 and how your encounters with the Enclave in the wastes tend to end... i suppose not many normal people get to known the Enclave and live to tell the story. So no many people in the wasteland got to see soldiers wearing what it was basically a tank in form of a knight armour. I suppose that in Fallout 3 and forward power armor was something more generally known, considering the events of those games, in Fallout 3 the BoS became a knight cult that helped people in need so most people in the capital wasteland knows them and their disctintives power armors, in New Vegas, the NCR first allied with the BoS to attack the Enclave base Navarro, and after that go to war with the BoS in Helios One, and those were not minor events, are lore events that repercute in the NCR history, everyone in the Mojave tells you how even outnumbered the Enclave and the BoS pulled up a good fight thanks to their weapons, technology and of course... their power armors, so in further games, it just makes sense that power armor is something that people at least know that exist, and tells you how things changes around the wasteland.
@@foureleveniv-xi7666It is unlikely that power armor is the main component of the entire fallout series and the complication of obtaining it could not be particularly appreciated by fans, at least by fans of new parts, fans of old classic parts, on the contrary, would be delighted with it.

Tbh, I feel like fallout 4 completely missed the point of power armor I mean, there are suits of it completely everywhere in the wastes, but in the main conflict only one side has it. Surely within YEARS of institute existing, they would salvage and repair for themselves all that power armor. I don’t think they know the enclave.
Everyone knows the enclave
@@MF-_-MOON1 The enclave was only known after the war and the institute were only interested in experimenting so they have very little reason to leave the area. That one scientist never returned after going to the capital wasteland.
YOU'RE OUT OF UNIFORM SOLDIER
That wall break tho
11:13 is that the same guy who voiced ghostface in cold war ? He sounds awfully similar if not
2:59 IS THAT A WHOLE 1860’S HENRY REPEATER
Lincoln’s repeater goes so hard
8:16 Pretty sure the synth is refering to The Institute's strained power infrastructure, but it is good advice for your suit's cores as well.
I love this video, great job.
1:30 what does she mean by this.. either my mind’s in the gutter or what
she's a prostitute
It’s exactly what you think. She’s (I can’t say this) but one of the people you pay for when you need some… pleasure
Nice of yoy to add the FO76 lines. Im alwyas told to take care of my armor
14:00 brother no way she just said that THATS FUCKING MINT CONDITION X-1 POWER ARMOUR
Casdin removing the outcast power armor is an example of terrible Bethesda writing - there literally isn’t even an option to refuse or pass a speech check. Idk how Bethesda manages to blunder so hard in that department time and time again.
Wtf u talking about, fallout 3 is a masterpiece.
@@YahBroItch I have countless hours in Fallout 3 - how can you call it an RPG if a character can take items out of your inventory without any options!
13:25 lol, it's funny because that's the Enclave "Hellfire" model
Fallout 3: Yeah...This was not what I expected
Fallout 4: *I AM IRON MAN*
I think we can all agree that FO4 did power armor the best of the games
Yes
Power armor actually looked like power armor in Fallout 4, not just armor
12:03 funny he says that because the Institute were originally planned to have their own power armor
Can I get a mod for fallout 1&2 for the voice overs, my dyslexia makes the game last 100 hours longer with me not understanding what they're saying :(
"nice tin suit would be a shame if someone... swiped it" proceeds to back away
Great video
11:59 and there is, unfortunatly, it was cut from the game
“I’ll just take that off your hands I’m sure your just returning it to us right cause you would have to be pretty stupid to think you can turn it in for pay”
It hurts that the institute guy thought enclave armor was brotherhood of steel even though I understand why there’s confusion after all the brotherhood of steel literally have steel in their name over half of their army is made up of power armor wearing soldiers
You should have sold Holmes the T51-b so he has one in stock.
the "it makes me think we should disging ours" of fallout 4 if a reference of the cut content of the special institute power armor [not the nowadays one]
There’s cut content of specific made Institute power armor in fallout 4.
1:47 and 2:35 and 8:04 that’s the neat part…….. I just did.
I remember when i playing fallout 4 and a raider said power armor huh!? And got his head blown off mid sentence.
The first section labeled fallout 2 mixes in footage from fallout 1. You can tell because several times you can see Ian in the background with his 10mm submachine gun
instinct fear among its prey feels nought for it self
People talk an awful lotta shit for not being in power armor lol
Damn i only fallout game i know is FO4 but i didnt know the power armor in FO3 are so skinny
(Strong disliked that)
Yeah... that checks out.
AI voiceover in fallout 2 is a freaking gem 💎😂👍
dog ngl outcast tech turn in is op lit free grenades stims and radaway during the second half of the game
2:48
*Vine boom sound effect *
Thanks for the intel
I love how the protector just equips the armor. I just imagine him putting on full Enclave armor, and then being shot by his own soldiers while shouting "Don't shoot, you idiots! It's me, it's me."
btw the part where you were wearing enclave PA in fallout 3 in raven rock attacked you since colonel autumn gave them the order to kill you
“Lose your heart tin-man?” Is a great line for any Fallout game
12:01 there actually was a concept for an institute power armor suit but it got cut from the game unfortunately
Diamond it’s security saying “holy shit now that’s some armor” that’s my favorite out of every reaction. He said it to me while I was in fully upgrade XO2
12:02
Yeah that almost happened... One of the hundreds of things of cut content they didn't add to the game.
If you look it up on google you can see what I looked like.... I lived the design it was nothing like any other power armor and was an Original Design.
I was EXTREMELY blocky but it's the institute they love they blocks😂😂
3:00 i had no idea Outcast responds different if I wear Their armor gotta try this
Wait Fallout New Vegas doesnt have dialogue on Power Armor?
"Dr thompson would love to take that power armor apart..."
"Try it"
14:48 “Nice Tin Suit, would be a shame if someone swiped it” *Starts walking backwards*
Tbh, I feel like fallout 4 completely missed the point of power armor
I mean, there are suits of it completely everywhere in the wastes, but in the main conflict only one side has it. Surely within YEARS of institute existing, they would salvage and repair for themselves all that power armor.
Every other game had it right tho, that power armor is unique and you can't just "loot" it, because there are factions that have it.
yeah, I hope it will be more rare in late fallout games
