All I would do is headers and a high flow downpipe. That alone will give the exhaust just a little more sound coming out of the pipes but a nice bit of sound in the cabin without being too loud and droney.
Cam - Dawg, your face is soo funny while driving. You both just having a normal conversation when I know your literal visual perspective is a giant go pro between your nose and eyes, LMAO. too funny! I bet he thought about laughing
I mean, if he paid for a lifetime powertrain warranty, doesn't that mean he has it? I've heard of other people who have purchased that, so it doesn't seem too far out of reach

The lifetime warranty was probably sold by the dealership so that he has to do all his service at that dealership. It’s the dealerships way of ensuring they make money from the servicing of the vehicle while knowing the statistics of most cars are sold within 3-5 years of ownership and they’ll never have to actually cover it. It’s a lot more common with dealerships than it used to be.
I have a lifetime warranty (unlimited miles/years as long as I'm the owner). It covers full drivetrain. I paid nothing for it. They offer it with any new Honda. Only Honda dealer near me that offers that. And the deductible is only $100 and repairs are done by Honda

@2:36 - You have a Bose sound system in here. YES. that's a Touring/Sport Touring trims thing. Better then most cars this price range is what you should say. Mazda's CX-30 is better but not by much.
Hi, I have a 10th gen sedan from 2019 and I have a exedy stage 2 clutch and rebuilt tranny with a new second counter shaft and 4th gear replaced and it pulls currently saving for a tune
Great video, I test drove and it was nice and composed, interior was amazing too. There was a small markup but nothing crazy, almost but the bullet. But….the Hyundai dealer near me had an Elantra N come in that wasn’t called for at MSRP so I ob I went to go check It out. I left with the car day of and don’t even think about the Si. It’s crazy the prices are so close but the N is in a different class altogether.
@cameron hill Not gonna lie I would love more car reviews from you. Something nice about the way you do these that's not overly dramatic and full of technicals.
I'll do more. I always enjoy reviewing cars even though I don't have the production value that the dedicated review channels do. Its just fun to drive other cars and get more perspective
As far as the Bose sound system, my only issue is the lack of an EQ that allows you to really fine tune the sound. I just traded in a car with an aftermarket head unit, aftermarket speakers, an amp driving the speakers, and a subwoofer (with a separate amp obviously driving the subwoofer). The stock Bose system has plenty of power. The problem is that you can’t really fine tune the sound like I could with the aftermarket head unit because all that you can do is turn the bass, midrange or treble up or down. The factory head unit is fully integrated into the car’s operation and functionality, so I must keep it, but I’m wondering whether there’s a way to add an EQ to the system.
Is the 10th and 11th gen si comparable to your old 9th gen fast wise? I have a 9th gen but I’d love to get a 10th gen or 11th but I’m not sure if it’ll be too much faster. I got a 206 whp 9th gen.
My current 10th gen with a tsp stage 1 tune would blow the doors off my 9th gen with full bolt on’s plus vit viper tune. Once you slap a tune on 10th and 11th gens it really wakes the car up.
Hey Cam I would love to know if he paid MSRP for the civic si?? Or did he get screwed with a $5k markup!? Love the video and mis your cat Cleo in your videos 😂
I'll be sure to have Cleo in the next video! I think he did pay a small markup for it. Kind of tough to find one for MSRP in Florida so I can't blame him
The only thing that is better about the 11th gen is the rev-matching and the interior other than the lack of heated seats. No active dampers, the shortened final drive ('20+) sucks, especially for autocross and you specifically mentioned it, the steering is "light to the touch" which is basically the opposite of what you want from an Si. Imo the 11th gen Si is an overall downgrade from the 10th gen. That being said, I would absolutely love to drive an R.
I’m looking at getting one of these as my first manual. I currently have a 17 Corolla CVT (bleh). My brother drives a 2013 Mazda3 6mt and every time I drive it it makes me wish I had bought a stick. As long as I can find one that’s not marked up
Am i the only one that hates the way the si seats look? I think it’s the color i don’t like.. just bought a 22 civic sport. But i really want the si or if i can swing it the integra type s. Great video!
I live in tampa as well and have an 11th gen in Aegean blue. I wanted this grey color but the first dealership I went to that had it was asking over 40k+ for it and wouldn’t negotiate 🤢 I have yet to see another 11th gen Si on the road in the Tampa Area.
I didn't realize they put start/stop on this. Does that activate with the clutch? Something I really hate with my 10th gen si is how bouncy the motor mounts are and how inconsistent the (stock) clutch engagement is. Its impossible to drive smooth consistently. It annoys my wife.
@@manbeartr0ll325 i have a tsp stage 1 tune on ktuner. Im not sure if thats part of the problem. Sometimes feels like the car gets frantic and wants to gogogo more than Im trying to. Like chill. Im in traffic. Then falls on its face when I'm trying to go zoom zoom. Idk. 🙃
i recomend you dont bro, get the regular filter from k&n. the cold air intakes are overrated af. The throttle response you will feel is insane and the shifts are smoother too. No more jerking from 1st to 2nd.
for me service and sales are crap on my local dealership Just to say I bought a 2018 Si and they never disclosed that it had a racing clutch, shifter, intercooler, and the rotors where gone! 3 months dont he road I got locked out of any gear smh!!!!!!!
Its really fun and super easy to drive. I never tried out the sound system, but just the looks and feel of the updated interior is worth an upgrade. Honda did a great job
I think the best choice is to get the 11 gen Si instead of the type R cus the mark up price is crazy and with that you can buy a turbo and slap it on and I’m sure it will make the same amount of power.
nah, the type r is very different from the si. You could make the si as fast as the type r in a straight line, but it will never have the same type of driving feel as the type r. The way the type r corners, the si will never be able to, even with the aftermarket suspension.
@@edwint1780 Throttle house was not too impressed with the steering feel. And for those of us that don't track, I bet a tuned Si would be pretty sweet for our daily commutes.

@@Camhill182 Yea that's what we like about your reviews, you seem like you're having fun and its very personable.
Love your vids cam
Thank you
As far as the Bose sound system, my only issue is the lack of an EQ that allows you to really fine tune the sound.
If you ever find yourself out in Colorado I’d love to have ya review my Pontiac G8 haha
Been waiting for this video
Great review. Would love to see a 2023 Civic Si vs 2023 Mustang Ecoboost.
Is the 10th and 11th gen si comparable to your old 9th gen fast wise? I have a 9th gen but I’d love to get a 10th gen or 11th but I’m not sure if it’ll be too much faster. I got a 206 whp 9th gen.
They’re all right next to each other in stock form
My current 10th gen with a tsp stage 1 tune would blow the doors off my 9th gen with full bolt on’s plus vit viper tune. Once you slap a tune on 10th and 11th gens it really wakes the car up.
@@TheBeebop420 yeah, I know, I meant my 206whp to a stock one like the video. 9th gens are pretty slow lol
@@justaturtle6790 yeah they’re pretty much the same stock
Definitely a fun lil car. I like Ososik Media for his build copped me a black 23’ last Friday.
wish honda offered this Si in a hatch, think it was a big mistake reserving it for the type R only.
As an owner of an FBO 11th gen Si, it is not worth it to put money. Save that money and get the new Type R 🫶🏽😊
Hey Cam I would love to know if he paid MSRP for the civic si?? Or did he get screwed with a $5k markup!? Love the video and mis your cat Cleo in your videos 😂
I'll be sure to have Cleo in the next video! I think he did pay a small markup for it. Kind of tough to find one for MSRP in Florida so I can't blame him
I paid 34k OTD so about a 3-4k markup.
The stock tires on the Si are trash. I replaced them with Continental DSW06 last year and it made a huge difference.
Great video 👍🏼
Cam I have a 2022 Veloster N I'd be down to have you review if you're ever back in the Maine area
There is a harness that automatically turns off auto stop start when started, project717 guy installed one on his sport
Ugh just more proof I’m going to need an FL5 one day. 😅
Good points, but I think the mid cycle refresh that Honda always does might bring back some robbed features
I did a ktuner on my car and soon will be installing a high flow intake on my 11th gen.si and I’m located in riverview
Cory doesn't seem to know much about cars. But we all start somewhere.
You're right! I'm learning as I go.
Dope video ! I still can’t believe the US model didn’t get the fully digital dash like the Canadian one did. Still a nice car tho 👌🏼
I think the Honda going in the past for 10 years 😂😂
I’m looking at getting one of these as my first manual.
Gonna go see an 11th gen in gray today in Miami, can’t wait to see what the markup is…
I didn't realize they put start/stop on this. Does that activate with the clutch? Something I really hate with my 10th gen si is how bouncy the motor mounts are and how inconsistent the (stock) clutch engagement is. Its impossible to drive smooth consistently. It annoys my wife.
Yes it activates when stopped and clutch pedal is released. It's annoying I turn it off as much as possible. Clutch is inconsistent in this car too.
Idk. 🙃
FK 8 will stay as Legend ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Get a Ktuner , I’ve permanently disabled the auto start stop on my rdx with the Ktuner
Just got my 11th hen si. If I put a PRL Intake, will that void my 100,000 miles warranty ?
i recomend you dont bro, get the regular filter from k&n. the cold air intakes are overrated af. The throttle response you will feel is insane and the shifts are smoother too. No more jerking from 1st to 2nd.
There's a few SI in the brandon area. Mine is black and a red one between 60 and parson In brandon.
for me service and sales are crap on my local dealership Just to say I bought a 2018 Si and they never disclosed that it had a racing clutch, shifter, intercooler, and the rotors where gone! 3 months dont he road I got locked out of any gear smh!!!!!!!
How’s the clutch holding up?
Fine so far. However, it's hard to tell because the clutch in this car naturally has a vague bite point.
Still debating if imma trade my accord in for one or get one as a secondary.
Might do the 2nd one since inventory is so short.
Its really fun and super easy to drive. I never tried out the sound system, but just the looks and feel of the updated interior is worth an upgrade. Honda did a great job
would love for you to review other civic si’s!
On paper, appears to be an approximate facsimile to my ’06 TSX. Want to test one.
I need to buy one before they stop making these. I hope they will make at least for couple more years
I think the best choice is to get the 11 gen Si instead of the type R cus the mark up price is crazy and with that you can buy a turbo and slap it on and I’m sure it will make the same amount of power.
nah, the type r is very different from the si.
Awesome video
How much for the focus RS and what trim package ?
