Great Video 👍 9 Years Later And It's STILL Helpful. My 85 Year Young Grandma And I Started Going To The Swimming Pool. Thank You For The Information 😊
I walk back and forth at a brisk pace in a full size pool at the, gym non-stop for an hour, three times a week. The highest level of water is 4' 6" so it gets chest high, if you're wondering. For losing weight, strengthening and toning lower body muscle groups, you can't beat it. Low impact, great workout, highest recommendation. I see people get in the pool, get in a lane, and swim vigorously for 5 minutes, then they get out panting to catch their breath, and walk away thinking they've had a good workout. But there I am walking in the pool, chugging away for an hour and afterwards in the hot whirlpool, I feel great. My excess belly fat is melting off. I'm 68 years old. If you're overweight or need to strengthen lower back and leg muscles, I highly recommend pool walking. Warning: just like hiking and running, this exercise can become addictive (in a good way).
excellent video
Thank you !!
