    I should have put this in the video but for good reason I didn’t. By default if you set in game rotation to 900 and wheelbase to 900 the game “should” adjust automatically for all cars. However I’ve had the problem where it doesn’t adjust automatically and I know of others with the same problem. So I do it the way I explained in the video because then I’m guaranteed to not have any issues. Just wanted to pin this message because of all the comments I’ve been getting on the topic.

    I’m very new in this hobby. I’ve always loved cars , racing , tuning, the whole nine. I was racing 1/8 scale remote controlled cars at a dirt track and 1/10 cars indoors on carpet. This by far is way funnier to me. It is as expensive but you’re😊 in the comfort of your own home. There are tons of videos out there but by far you have some of the best in my opinion. I just hope you’re responsive to questions because I will need all the help I can get. Great job thanks for all your help, keep up the good work.

    Thanks Kevin. I've messed up so many times trying to adjust the car thru the HUD. An even bigger problem for me is I'm on a PS5, so I can't even use a keyboard. Great vid, and a huge help as always!!

    I set my rotational switches left to break bias and right to engine map.
    I dont use the left or right look maps. I mainly use the radar.
    Since i dont use the virtual mirror having a button that changes the dashboard display is important to me. Especially in cars like the McLaren where it tells you both the Psi and core tire temperature. Makes it easier to know if a have a tire thats running hot or cold but still in the right PSI range!
    I use the right toggle switch for TC up/down and break bias left/right... It still allows you to use it in mini menu options. However you must be in one of the two track position screens for the toggle to work for the TC and break bias.
    I use right rotational switch for FOV.... occasionally i like to change it slightly depending on race conditions.
    Top buttons far right is my flasher, 2nd one in is change view, 3rd one is cycle MFD and back/exit.
    Left buttons 1 pit limiter, 2 cycle light stages, 3rd look back.
    I literally try and map everything i can..
    Also dont forget you can map 2 things to each button! Quick press and hold down press.
    Left toggle is real time race positions so i can see whos where and their best lap times.
    The 3 at the bottom are ignition middle i dont recall and right is pause.
    The two buttons above the rotational switches. Left is change dash and right is starter/select..
    The red flick switches. Left is my wipers and right is my TC2 which i only have mapped in case i forget to turn it off..
    Theres something like 47 button options you can map on this wheel! So many it can get confusing cause you can literally map almost everything
    The most important are you ignition, starter, head lights, flasher, wipers, next dash screen, TC, ABS, and cycle MFD up which also cycles thru the 4 MFD screens and MFD down.
    You can set you pit MFD to automatically come up when you cross the pit line.. although by that point it's difficult to change anything unless its a long pit lane!

    I've also heard of putting the steering wheel to 900 and in game to 900, and it will work for all cars

    • @Bratmouse1
      @Bratmouse1  10 месяцев назад +2

      I have heard that as well. But for some reason on my wheel and wheelbase if I don’t set the rotation specifically to the car I run into problems. I don’t know why and I have heard other people with similar issues. So yes your correct if it works lol. That’s why I do this just to be safe.

    • @sobolanul82
      @sobolanul82 10 месяцев назад +3

      This can easily be checked in game using the cockpit camera with the in-game wheel visible. If the rotation of the wheel matched the rotation of the virtual one it's all ok.
      I also use 900/900 settings.

    • @Bratmouse1
      @Bratmouse1  10 месяцев назад

      @@sobolanul82 oh I know but for some reason it doesn’t work on mine. I’ve reinstalled the game etc… it’s very frustrating. I know some other people have issues also.

      The max steering any GT3 car has is 800 so you can set them both to 800!

    Thanx!! Here we go again. Great Job. I'm looking to graduating from a GT-DD With the CS 2.5 with Podium Paddles. To something like a Sim Magic Alpha U or a Simucube 2 Pro. ?
    I like my VRS pedals.

      Yeah simucube stuff is very nice. But keep in mind if you’re looking for speed and lap times from the upgrade you probally won’t get it. But if you’re just looking to upgrade because it’s “awesome” then yeah go for it.

    The correct rotation in ACC is 900 in base and game, will be correct on all cars. With a Moza base you can still have a rotation lock at 520 if you really want the lock at the correct place.

    • @Bratmouse1
      @Bratmouse1  10 месяцев назад +1

      Yes theoretically if it works properly but it’s never worked for me for some reason. If I don’t put the proper rotation in the base it doesn’t work. It’s proablly a glitch of some sort. And I’ve read other people having the same problem. So I just do it like this to be safe.

    • @Bratmouse1
      @Bratmouse1  10 месяцев назад +1

      And also setting in game to 0 and your base to the specific cars rotation apparently increases detail and feedback as tested by some top level esports guys.
