Save Start Point for Corner Practice was worth the WHOLE PRICE OF ADMISSION on this video.. Currently working on Turns "Brundle & Nelson" on Snetterton.. That section of track when my blood is up, gets me out of a competitive race EVERYTIME!! Not anymore though. I've since dialed it in, and I make up more time on that section of track then in any other. I have this channel to thank for this!
I would quite interested to see where you have mapped these options on your wheel. I've just purchased a Cube Controls FPRO wheel and I'm struggling to map everything comfortably.
Good morning Chris. I am working on a new video for that exactly. I just received a new wheel and am spending this week figuring out where I want everything. Please subscribe if you haven't already, as that video will be out in the next few weeks. If you want to send me an email at sales@velocityprosims.com, I'm happy to chat with you about it. I am heading up to the Daytona 500 this morning In case I don't get back to you right away.
@@RacingSimSupport Wait, what? I just ran into this channel today. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your videos. What happened with your last channel?
That is why I don't join and race on IRacing online. Everyone probably has thousands of dollars tied up in Racing Rigs, computers, and accessories, where I have just a basic Wheel controller, pedals, mounted to a desk and sit in a regular chair. Works for me.. Plus I don't want to pay the subscription pricing to race online. And do not have the dedicated time anymore to make it worth the money spent. I will just enjoy my other STEAM racing games for entertainment purposes. I used to race allot in 3 private leagues online many years ago doing "Nascar Racing 2003" on FREE Sierra Servers, then IRacing came along and the Sierra Servers were closed down for several reasons. So online racing is nothing new to me. Thanks for the video. Take care.
To each their own, I would like to share though, I have a basic G29 setup, with one of those "Next Level" Tube and Fabric racing mount seat. Total spent under 700 Wheel, Shifter, pedals, Chair all of it. While my rig is nowhere near the types that we see on this channel or other streamers, I tell you this, I'm as competitive as the next guy, and I have as much fun as the guy that spent 80,000 on his Rig. The barrier to entry has come down so much in the last few years since covid. As SIM gets more and more popular i expect it to come down even more. A full second hand set could get you out the door under 300. Some guys that get into SIM rigs then find out its nothing like their favorite arcade racer, could be the come up you need. Hope to see you on track sometime. I think you would be quite fast in time and probably love it!! Cheers!
@marksutherlandjr.2121 @dathyr1 And in full transparency, I got very lucky. I’m consistent but still 1-2 seconds off top times. But, again, I got VERY lucky. I spent 4 years with the manufacturer of this cockpit which put me in a position where a lot of the gear was acquired at a lower cost for one reason or another. Mostly for producing content. I’ve always wanted to be a racing driver, started karting when I was 5 years old and we didn’t have the ability to keep pursuing it. When I discovered sim racing it started filling a huge hole for me. I don’t have much of a social life, been single for a long time and struggle with my mental health quite badly. The sim is a really big part of my life and it keeps me happy most of the time. I’m grateful to have been put in a position where I got to build something I could only dream of.
I run a g29 clamped to a desk with a plank of wood holding my pedals in place, I have won quite a few races, I also do absolutely zero practice Laps 😂 qualifying is practice
@braydonmccormack6191 let’s get it! lol. It’s been a while since I’ve ran on a clamped wheel, but that’s exactly how I started too. I’m guilty of qualifying is practice also lol.
I don’t think there’s such thing as perfect settings for it. I have it on buttons so I can adjust as needed. I try to line up the steering column of the car with the shaft of the direct drive. Other than that, I just play with it until it feels comfortable. I’ve been able to sit in some of these cars for real so I take note and try to mimic the FOV

@chris.philippou you’re welcome :)
What button box is that you are using? I really like the design. Thanks for the video.
This was a Ricmotech box that they haven’t produced for over two years due to lack of hardware.
Awesome mate just started last month
Thank you so much! Please subscribe. My former channel was taken from me.

Jose do u have a video for best settings and fov

That is entirely dependent on your CPU and simrig. Fiddle around with settings and google fov calculator for your FOV
What pedals are you running?
Ricmotech GT Pro 3s. I worked for the company for several years before opening up my own.
