Rosetta Stoned is hilarious, MJK easily could be a comedian.
He’s cameoed in plenty of comedy movies haha
Awesome bud!🔥🔥 Fear Inoculum up ahead 🌀🌀🌀👁🤘🏼
Yes sir! I'm gonna digest this one and probably do fear inoculum this weekend
Please 🙏 🙏 🙏 😊
Awesome bud! Looking forward to it@@Stonedreviews283
Another great great vid, sad about the deleted ones, but you still had the experience. On Maynards mum (Judith Marie), there are a few songs that relate to her. Jimmy was the first one which was his nickname Maynard James (jimmy) Keenan and is about when he was 11 and his Mother had the stroke. He did another one after that for another band (A Perfect Circle) called "Judith", which is his mother's first name, where he is very angry at the whole situation, you should definetely react to this song. Then the two you just listened to where he say's goodbye. 10,000 days is the number of days since her stroke.
I will react to that song! Maybe I'll do it before the next album. Thanks for letting me know
@@Stonedreviews283 dude u gotta listen to at least the first two A Perfect Circle albums. They're masterpieces
Appreciate the genuine reaction and letting us know you already listened to the first couple of songs. I can’t wait for you to check out some live drum cams of Danny Carrey. The 🐙. Onto fear inoculum 🌀 also, not sure if you listened to their EP opiate. It was before undertow. It’s got like 5 songs you should listen to if you haven’t already!
Yes! Fear inoculum is next and then the live album. And thanks for telling me about the EP, I didn't know that. That's on the list for sure now lol
Yes I can’t wait for you to check out the salival live album. It’s seriously so good it sounds like it’s studio quality
You still got a lot of great bangers on here regardless of what you lost. Unfortunate but technical issues can happen, I wouldn't worry too much.
Yeah true. I still got to hear them so I'm satisfied lol. I'm glad I caught it kind of early
You nailed Lipan Conjuring. It’s the intro to a trip.
We've all had bad tech days. No worries. Glad you gave us a narrative reaction to what you lost. We all cry to Marie 2. I'm about to share to a friend who lost his mom. It's on my personal playlist for my own kids when the time comes.
Yeah it made me tear up even before knowing it was about his mom. And then I looked it up and re listened to it. Makes it so much more emotional, especially for those who have lost their mom. This month will be 9 years since I lost mine and this song definitely was bringing up those feelings. But it is a beautiful song and it's one of my favorites from them
Lipan Conjuring is the beginning of the Ayahuasca trip, Lost Keys is coming out of trip, ears ringing in a hospital bed and Rosetta Stoned is the story of that trip, going from calm to fairly manic moments as it's recalled. That's the way I've always seen it...Listen to them all together uninterrupted, it's masterful really! Intension is the re-birth thereafter and Right in Two is just the greatest song ever done!! lol
That's fucking cool. I'll definitely listen to them in that order then lol . It was such a nice vibe
As far as complete albums go, I do prefer both Aenima and Lateralus over this one. But in my opinion, on the strength of 4 songs alone, (Jambi, 10,000 days, The Pot and Right in Two), it’s still by far the best thing to come out that year. And probably has more content with just the 4 songs. I was not disappointed and it was worth the wait. The wait for the next album was even longer and it’s basically 5 or 6 long ass songs……just as worth it. Not sure how you go wrong with these 4 artists. I first saw them in 98 when I was either 18 or 19. They changed my perception of what music could mean to me. Not just their music, all music. Also they played the live/long version of Pushit before anyone had heard it and before it was recorded. That changed me too. The hallucinogens helped but that’s what they were for, lol. Thank for the reactions. I love watching someone fall in love with something that’s actually worth their time ✌️
i agree with you jambi is and will always be in my top 5,
I agree with what you said about the complete albums. Totally true. I appreciate the comment and your story! And thanks for watching of course bro
Beautiful recap. Thank you for posting.
I played Wings For Marie Pt. 2 at my sister's funeral... she introduced Tool to me when I was 9 years old back in 1992...
I'm sorry for your loss. It's a tough time
Just keeps getting better
Bummer dude, it's all good though... Tech issues happen. Glad you didn't try to fake a re-reaction... Major props 🤘🏼
Of course dude. Thank you for watching as usual!
Check out the live version of wings and 10000 days. Its full of emotional moments for Maynard but the crowd feels it too it gets real real quiet its just beautiful to see. One of my favorites on the record for sure
I will remember that!
Disclaimer drugs are bad.
I've been waiting for someone to do a fear Inoculum album reaction on mush.
Lol, this man just learned the #1 rule of listening to TOOL...
Your favorite song is whatever you're listening to right now.
true that lol
The reason why you "can't tell what they're saying" in Intension, is;
They're in reverse. "Stay in school, your father is right" etc, a Zappa reference.
This brought me back too. Forgot how smooth Intension was and tied into Right In Two. Had to come down from Rosetta Stoned. They play that shit live! Hope they hit it at your show if you see 'em.
WELL THAT SUCKS SORRY TO HEAR THAT CANT WAIT TO SEE YOU REACT TO FEAR TALK ABOUT GETTING YOUR MIND BODY ANY SOUL BLOWN AWAY
This fella is like a low-key Phil Anselmo! Great review!
Thank you buddy!
Dude, they just started their arena tour last night in Colorado. I don't know where you are located but if you get a chance to see them live it will change your life. I've seen them 17 times now and I'll be at the Tacoma, WA show in a couple weeks for number 18!
I'm going to Vancouver this month and seeing them live! That's one of the reasons I'm listening to all their albums. I want to know their songs and have a great time
I'm seeing them this Friday Oct 5th. From their recent setlist, it looks like they'll be playing Jambi and Forty Six and Two which are 2 songs I have not yet seen them do live. So excited!
@@Stonedreviews283 dude! I am so excited for you. I can't wait to hear how it goes!
@@jeanineluedemann4049 Yes! Rosetta stoned too. I saw that song in 2006 at the gorge and it melted my face off there. Hoping to experience that again!
@@FlatShoeLance yes! I just saw the updated setlist! 😊
Its been said that your favorite Tool song is the one you're listening to.
I saw them twice in '06 on this tour. They opened both shows with Lost Keys/Rosetta which I didn't appreciate then and at the second show they played Wings. Indescribable. Maynard sang it with his back to the audience after asking them 5 times to please stop taking pictures. Oh and....70's Floyd is pure gold. All of it. Start with Meddle.😉👍
Hell yeah dude. That's awesome!
I saw them in 2007 and they opened with Jambi. They played Rosetta Stoned later in the set.
The feedback that starts Lost Keys is the ringing in your ears while you're laying there on the hospital bed...You're faintly hearing the nurse talking to the Dr. cause your ears are ringing...Basically coming to after the trip.
Fun fact that sound is actually made on a bass guitar
Yep, another impactful choice by Justin!
@@Tacocrazy hes the reason i picked up bass :D
THATS THE NAME RECUVA THATS HOW ITS SPELLED
Bro you gotta do the newest album!!! Please
I am for sure! I'm kind of sick right now but as soon as I'm feeling better I will
Right in two is about human nature (the ugly side of it)
What are those goggles around your neck? Just curious
I got them from Vegas. Well actually area 51. There's a gift shop out there. They're called trip goggles. Kind of like looking into a Kaleidescape
I tried watching your Undertow album reaction but had to turn it off when you started skipping parts of the songs😢
Sorry about that. I only did that because I thought youtube would take it down. The past albums I haven't skipped any of the songs. Thanks for watching bro
It's all good, hope I didn't sound too much like an asshole. I think pausing works for most reacters. Good luck on your channel
