Thank you for all of these! I only listen via Chilly. For many reasons. One, I believe in loyalty. Two, it is easier to keep track of the ones I have heard and ones I did not - I tend to listen at random. And three, Chilly has the overall best versions. Thanks again!

The cover-art reminds me of the Edmund Fitzgerald on Lake Superior! In fact, if you look closely, you can see this ship is broken in half (just like the Fitzgerald)

Based on the shape of the bridge and stern house this is an older laker, the Daniel J. Morrell, which split on the surface of Lake Huron in 1966 with only 1 survivor. An incredible story was written by the survivor. The image is posted on Deviantart by “zulumike”.

The ship in the painting looks more like a Great Lakes iron ore boat breaking up in a storm. These boats are used for transporting iron ore from the loading ports in Minnesota, Wisconsin or Michigan to the unloading ports such as Gary, IN, Detroit, MI, or Cleveland, OH, among others. Yes...boat is the correct term for these vessels on the Great Lakes. They are not used on the oceans.

The artist's rendering of an oil tanker moving around.......
I'm seriously considering that you're actually trying to make folks seasick.
