A newlywed is sure that her husband's manservant is trying to put a hex on her because he resents her upsetting the household. She tries to convince her husband to sell their Caribbean plantation and move. He wants to stay and solve the mystery.

Sometimes they get so carried away with accents, background noise, etc, they make the dialogue unintelligible to the listener. I had to use my Sherlock Holmes powers of deduction as I listened to the narrator to find out what happened in the last three minutes. Elementary, my dear Watson!

I listen 2 these every night, thank you so much 4 your time in uploading these and the pictures are just absulotley perfect to go along with the stories. I am much younger than the time of these , but my Nehibor said he used 2 listin 2 the stories every week when he was younger and he is 71....i am very thankful that they are still available 4 ppl 2 enjoy...getting to use my imagination along with the stories is just wonderful.

There's a background noise like low level classical music but I guess this is an artefact of trying to record these analog radio plays.
Nevertheless it is not so difficult to ignore with such a brilliantly performed play! Thanks for saving these fine gems of quality drama.
