Another good one, Chilly. Most actors seem unable to manage an accurate Southern accent, but these turned in a credible effort.👍

Although she's shown as acting in this episode, Morgan Fairchild is NOT in the cast. Patricia Elliot is cast in those parts, but not listed in the credits.

E.G. Marshall tells us this story takes place in 1880. Less than five minutes later one of the women says something like, 'Don't be so old-fashioned. This is the 20th Century.' HUH? SAY AGAIN!?
I've lived in Virginia all my life. These 'Southern accents' are really faked. which I've never heard in 'real life'. As you travel southward in Virginia, the 'southern accent' starts to become noticeably predominate around Fredericksburg, which is about 50 miles south of the region known as 'Northern Virginia'. If they're 'just over the Potomac into Virginia', that's where this story is taking place and these accents aren't even remotely close!

At least they don't sound like I used to, I had the most unappealing eastern Tennessee accent, I couldn't even understand myself.
