In Naturasi you’ll probably pay even more. My favourite kombucha there is about €6 ☺️ 2. Have you checked soya Frappuccino in Starbucks in Rome ? Well.. get ready to pay €6-8 for that monster American size 3. I’ve got an Italian passport and been living in Rome for a bit more than 8 years 😉 let’s call me an expat not a tourist 😁 4. Talk to my father in law saying that you are supporting Roma (he’s a massive fan of Lazio) - I guarantee you’ll never get back to the house ever again 😂🤪 And by the way €1 for a bottle of water is an amazing price 🙂 I’m living between Rome, Paris, London and Los Angeles, Rome is the best place to enjoy life with the lowest possible prices among them all 😁

Question; - Where do I buy SIM cards in Italy? - Is it better to buy SIM cards or E-SIM ? - where do I buy E-SIM? - Does the SIM or E-SIM give me a new phone number or just Data? - If it doesn’t give me a phone number, can I call Taxi using Whatsapp? - Is there a general number for Taxi companies? - Is there a general number for emergency similar to 911 in Canada or USA? - If we visit Italy in October, do we have to book in advance for Vatican & Ufizi museum in Florence & other local tours? Or we can buy tickets at the door? Thanks
Hello, For emergency numbers you can call police: numbers 112 or 113 . for ambulance you call 118. When you come to italy outside the airport buy a sim card. As inside the airport they will sell you sim cards at a higher prices compared the prices outside the airport. You can choose between 4 providers of sim cards. 1) vodafone. 2) windtre 3) iliad. 4) Tim. The best are iliad and vodafone. It depends also on what you are looking for.
You can buy sim cards in provider stores you can recognize them as you while visiting the city/cities by simply seeing their names written on the top of the store. You can use Google maps to see the nearest phone provider for sim cards near the hotel you will be staying or any accommodation, Airbnb.
in Italy there are dozens of telephone companies, Iliad, Fastweb, Tim etc. who sell SIM cards for tourists or even E-sim cards with 5G technology with reception everywhere, at maximum advantageous prices. $15 for 50gb or unlimited unlimited calls and unlimited text messages, each taxi company has its own standard number and can be called with W.A., 112 is the emergency number in every country EU, like your 911, it is always better to book museums in advance even a few weeks, which is important if you are disabled and have a document proving it, with 1 of your companions, you can skip the lines and don't pay, I hope it helped you, bye
small update, in Italy the taxi drivers' lobby is very powerful and supported by the far right they have made Uber illegal to have a monopoly on transport and charge higher prices, so Uber cannot be booked, as an alternative to taxis (white cars) there are NCCs which are like limousine services in the USA, every hotel is connected to one of these you can ask them, they cost more than taxis but they offer a better service such as vans which if there are many of you dividing the expense is more convenient, one more piece of advice, if you come to Rome in October, be aware that in that period it is still very hot here, come with few and light clothes, don't drag large, heavy suitcases with you (I feel so sorry for those tourists full of suitcases) I'm sure you won't mind shopping in Rome and returning with more suitcases than when you left, when you are in the hotel leave your documents and credit cards in the safe, bring a little cash, when you go around the city, max €20, use applepay or other phone apps, electronic payments are accepted everywhere, visa, mastercard, a little less american express ciao
