Since the side molding was in such poor shape I decided to use the kit that LMC sells. It is nicely cut and packaged nicely. Use of the rubber eraser wheel did make things a lot easier. Enjoy as I struggle through removing the old and install the new molding.

Nice job . Did you measure down from the body line to the top of where the trim was going on all the panels ?

Thank you! I appreciate you commenting! I did do some measuring like that. Luckily enough the old trim left some markings on the doors and fenders. So I was able to get a solid reference point from there and used the tape templates at the tail lights to finish lining up the trim on the bed sides.
I am sure there are easier ways to go about this, but I did what I knew and the results turned out nice.

I noticed that everyone has their gas door on driver side by my 73 its on passenger side

I believe on the 70s square bodies, they had the fuel lid that mounted to the passenger bed side, until they went to having fuel doors. I have an 81 Custom Deluxe with a single tank fuel door on the driver side only, while the truck in this video has dual tanks.
