I just did mine yesterday. Got mine from Amazon. I went through what you went through. I did the samething. Looks great no more window rattle. As well the snowball effect 😂 my armrest bracket was surface rust so I took it off and cleaned it and painted. New bolts and wrapped my door panels.
I have to do this for front and back windows on a 94 Suburban. The previous owner had five dogs. When she was out and about they'd get bored and destroyed all the window seals and glass channels. I'm not looking forward to it. But thank you very much for your vid. It boosted my courage. (I think it may require I remove the glass.)
I am glad that anything I did, was able to help. I have snuck in new channels on the OBS body doors without removing the glass. New seals are rigid but bend enough to go. Thank you for watching!
I started rebuilding my vent window. 0 of 10 recommend. I ended up finding someone to sell a complete one. Definitely worth the money to buy complete if you can find one. I have all the supplies for the rebuild if you would like them for the low. All from LMC.
I am trying to find a pair assembled like you did or possibly sending mine off. I do not think that is a job for myself. I imagine it turning into a far bigger job that it should be, if I were to tackle it. The 0 of 10 part killed it for me.😂😂😂
Happy Nealw Year to you and the fam! I was yesterday years old when I learned of that kit. It is going to need it with the new seals. They are super slow. I appreciate the recommendation. It's already ordered.
Not really an issue with good fitting door panels as it is with terrible structural support on new ones. I changed the ones out on my 78 truck and the originals were about twice the weight of the new ones and once you flipped them over it was obvious why.

Thank you! Planning on doing mine this weekend. Great tutorial.
Thank you for watching and commenting! God luck with the swap. I left mine rolled up in the channel as much as I could so the fitment would be nice.
Great video, thanks fir posting, plan on doing mine in my 85 C10 tomorrow.
Thank you for watching and commenting! How did your installation work out?
White lithium saves the day! Maybe he overdid it, but thank him because everything still moves around decades later.
You are not wrong😁. Off of camera I may have soaked it back down. I appreciate you watching and commenting!!

Just did the passenger side, def 0 out of 10 but doable if you remove the rivets but you will need one that swivels for outside piece
Buying parts from LMC is a Recipe for failure.
Happy New Year! Have you thought about doing the power window relay mod? I did it on my K20 back in the day and it made a world of difference
