Dear Master! On the day of my wedding with is today! The whiskey that we will enjoy once the boys are together is the Glenrothes 18 years old! This based on your review! The SAQ here in Montreal received 40 bottles and I got two . One for tonight and one for my collection. Grand Master you are the best! Cheers 🍻
The ASMR king is back! Long live the king!
When he drinks all from the cup, It will be a good one for sure!
Well, after all these years, I finally found one at $150 USD, which is cheaper than some big retail stores. I hope to get the same notes and enjoyment.
The noise of appreciation at 07:00😂😂😂
I just bought a Glenrothes 18 and a Glenrothes Maker's Cut. I'll open them for Christmas
Today I’m buy one of these 🙂
wow, he really likes this one.
I'm not a huge fan of Glenrothes, but this one is really nice. Thanks for the review.
When to try Glenrothes 40 years
This one is a general release, so I’m not sure why you think they’ve made fewer bottles. It’s not scarce at all !
It’s probably the first time i see Horst make the video in two takes. Great review nevertheless.
It’s not the last of the soleo range. There’s a 25! Great review as always
Vanilla, pears, apples... the staple of bourbon maturation. Only lemon left😂
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONING! :D
this is easily the best the new range, although still overpriced at $150 US...then again that's just the standard market nowadays, plus Edrington will overcharge for anything
It’s pricey but seems like anything 15 or more is going up in price. They have a 25 year old in the new soleo range. Have you picked that one up ?
@@neilstucky6265 for sure on the price. no, I forgot they did an 18 as well. A rep did a local tasting of the 12, Maker's Cut and the 18 yo. I like glenrothes, but I wasn't too huge on the new lineup.
I preferred the vintages but they ended that and are going with age statements. To me they are good but not great
Have u tried their new aqua range
@@neilstucky6265 I haven't, but I agree on the vintage range being better than soleo. Only bottles I have right now are the "bourbon cask" release that I picked up for $30 and an Adelphi bottling of 7 yo at 67% abv that was aged in a VERY active sherry cask.
