I would have been exhausted trying to climb that. Hiking in the Smokys is one thing but in sand has to be more difficult.

I live in the Silver Lake area and the cherry turnovers are a staple. Your tour of Ludington, Silver Lake and Whitehall is the best I've seen. Way to go, have fun on your adventures.

I didn;t know Michigan was so beautiful , lake Michigan looks like the ocean it is so huge. I need to visit there. Some of the area you drove through looks like the area in NC where I am from.
Wishing so bad that we were up there! We have family in the UP and have been trying to get up there, but cancer treatment has changed our plans. Hopefully some time soon!!
Wow, i just looked at couple sites that shows the ice on the Grand Haven lighthouse. That would be cool to see.
I used to pick the wild cherries which are red versus the dark red. Made many of cherry pies.

Great Michigan vlog Dawn and Will. You guys were about 25 minutes from my house here in Ottawa County.
I grew up in Montague and Whitehall! Graduated from Whitehall Way way back when LOL Used to get cherry cokes made the old fashioned way at Lipka's!
There are great sand dunes in North Carolina also.

We are in Gatlinburg this weekend. Hate that we missed y’all. We were really looking forward to seeing that yellow Jeep and meeting y’all.
We did not know there was sand dunes like this in Michigan. We really enjoy your videos especially when Dawn rocks the bridges. We are taking our grandsons to the Smokey Mountains for their first trip. They are choosing things to so from watching your vlogs.
Love your little road trip and Michigan. Went to Saugatuk last year for my 50th birthday. Definitely recommend it if you get a chance to go there.
Those dune rides look like a lot of fun... I'd be sitting next to dawn giggling with her. The brown light house is pretty with the beach in the back ground. You guys sound visit nags head they have a light house there as well. I went there as a kid with my family and camped out. Lots of fond memories there for me. Had to work this week end so I got behind on watching. Going to watch the video you just posted for today ❤❤❤
I really enjoyed this video. I think the scooter ride was awesome! You are giving me some good ideas for travel to Michigan. I can't believe it's so hot! Stay hydrated and be careful walking in the sand you could twist an ankle. Dawn don't worry about resting that is very hard work walking up a steep sand dune for sure! Hope you get some cooler days.

Manitowic is a really nice town in Wisconsin with a huge maritime museum, we spent a weekend, almost took the ferry across, we're going another time. My son goes every year with his friend's to camp out at the Warren Dunes near South Haven. you should check out the Indiana dunes at the state park, i climbed a dune there, thought i was going to die lol.

D and I will have to take us a overnight trip . Only been to the sleepy bear dunes in the 70's . But I could probably hike up the big hill but search and rescue would have to roll me down 😅
It's well worth the trip . Climbing up is hard. Going down us easier
