I lived in Waukesha Wisconsin for the first 53 years of my life. It’s beautiful in the summer but rough in the winter! I love how Sevierville has all four seasons but really mild winters!

I went to Wisconsin many years ago for a wedding. Oh beautiful state nice and clean.
I took a road trip to a Wisconsin two years ago. Fried cheese curds are so good they should be illegal. I did some hiking on the Ice Age Trail, and I went to the Wisconsin Dells on a boat tour, which was great. I did the Upper Falls Tour. I also went to Devils Lake SP. I like the idea expression on your face when you bit in that sandwich and said OMG…..lol
We had a great time with our kids on the Dells years ago. Also visited Circus World in nearby Baraboo and the railroad museum in North Freedom. We roadie a ferry across the Wisconsin River and visited a cheese factory in the area. We ate at Paul Bunyan’s Lumberjack Camp and went to the Tommy Bartlett Ski Show. Lots to do in that area!

If you go back to downtown Milwaukee, you have to go to The Safe House it is a spy themed restaurant/bar - very cool. It is real close to the Market. Loved seeing Public Market, still by my spices from The Spicehouse online. I hope that you hit Mars Cheese Castle in Kenosha on your way home. It was nice seeing some familiar places from our past!

Awesome choice for lunch from the West Allis Cheese Shop. We love that place, and get the Italian almost every time we go there. It's their second location, the first being in the suburb of West Allis.
Milwaukee has some serious issues for sure, but the downtown is clean, and there's lots to do. Speaking of lots to do, I guess I'll see in the next video if you made it to Summerfest? If not, you really should put it on your list if you pass through the Milwaukee area again. It can be pricey if you don't do your homework on things like discounts and admission deals. Still, it's great fun, and George Carlin was arrested performing there!

Laverne and Shirley was a great show. They were so funny. I remember when they made their first appearance. They were on Happy Days and went on a double date with Fonzie and Ritchie.

You probably will not make it as far west in WI as LaCrosse but if you do be sure to check out Riverside Park and the downtown of LaCrosse; many great eating spots. We raised our family there but have lived down the road from you for the past eight years in Cleveland TN.

If your in Madison WI there's a nice bed and breakfast it used to be the governors mansion
My hubby and I were in downtown Milwaukee last Oct.We loved the city and eating cheese at the West Allis cheese/sausage shop very near the Petite Ice center where many famous speed skaters trained and train.I miss the fried cheese curds.I did bring home some cheese tho.We didn't see the Fonz Statue or city market.We just drove around the city for 2 days and saw all the lighhouses in the city and nearby in other smaller towns.

I just want you and Dawn to know that I truly enjoy traveling with y'all. It seems like we are right there with y'all . That bridge in Milwaukee is very interesting , I've never seen a bridge like that before . Y'all definitely know how to enjoy life . Y'all are truly blessed to be able to travel like you do . Kewpee Hamburgers is still open in Lima, OH! I ate there about 5 years ago. Love the view from the Oasis Plaza. I was a kid the first time we stopped at one of those that was over the road.

How cool is that that y'all were able to see Michael Jackson's home!! He was a truly an amazing talent. I've seen Elvis Presley's childhood Home in tupelo Mississippi. I've never been to Graceland though. I've also seen the home Ernest Hemingway was born in in Oakpark, Illinois (near Chicago) and his home in Key West. Sadly all three those men had their share of problems.
A very nice visit, that is so cool how the river runs through town. The great lakes look so beautiful, the only one I've ever been to is Lake Erie when I was a kid 💕
