Yes, definitely. We always encourage our students to experiment with a wide range of ingredients so that you can gain more experience with them. There are so many beautiful oils to choose from so feel free to try any carrier oils that you'd like to. Just make sure you write out your formula, method and observations to refer back to. :)
it allows it to emulsify in contact with water, and it turns to a lotion consistency - and then can be washed off with greater ease than a traditional anhydrous product without an emulsifier. hope that helps.
Hi Lubna, it can be yes... it depends on the type you use as there is more than one type tocopherol and can be made from a number of sources such as Wheatgerm, sunflower (mainly a-tocopherol) or canola or soyboean (y-tocopherol) and there are many others too. Many are quite thin and not sticky but increased strength ones can be sticky and I think it depends on the course (from personal experience although it may not be generic... wheatgerm is thinner, canola is thicker) :)

If I use peg40 the ratio will remain the same as poly glyceryl oleate 4
Is there any substitute for Polyglyceryl 4 oleate ?
