I saw the video collaboration with Revenge and Tara Lee. I was very intrigued by the product, but was nervous about dealing with a company outside the USA. After listening to your review, I won't hesitate any longer! Thanks for sharing your riff on the Lumerol, Cory. I always trust your word on products and ingredients we can purchase to add to our formulas! 😊❤😊
It is available in the US now. I ordered it from Dauphine organics and got it in 3 days. I think it is sold out at the moment, but they expect to get more soon.
Aw, thank you for the shout-out. Great video :) It's especially game-changing as an ingredient for small cosmetic businesses in the UK, as aqueous products cost a lot in testing to go to market, so it's great for small companies to be able to offer more anhydrous products by using this product as an alternative.
Thank you! I was so inspired after watching your video using lumorol in a shampoo formulation, that was awesome! It is funny how different countries have different rules around selling finished products. My viewers are always looking for formulas like this one that contain both oil and surfactant!
@@SunshineSoapandCandleCompany Yes, I’ve had success with body wash, shampoo, body scrubs and also solid scrubs and body wash bars. I’m looking into adding it into other oil containing formulations that also have water in them to see how it behaves.
@@revegacosmetics Yes! I have also been thinking about adding oil, lumorol, water and some sort of emulsifier I think, to make a creamy body wash...I wonder if this would be stable? Only one way to find out, lol! I love everything you have done with it. I have made solid cleansing balms with it as well and I love them!
The big jug reminds me of a jug of antifreeze for a car. If you hold it on it's side and pour rather than how the handle makes you think you need to pour and also not tip it too far it will flow out easy. It needs just a little air at top of "exit" so it doesn't do the glug glug stuff. Just thought I'd tell you this in case no one has before. Thanks for doing the video btw!!
You know what I was searching around my lab and came across some Glucoside Surfactant Base, re-read the description and realized they both did the same things. I purchased the glucose from Amazon.
Thank you video I would like to know if lumorol K 5229 can to be substituted for moisture of 19% sodium lauryl sulphate+ 28,5% Betaine cocamidopropyl + 52,5% Glycerine
SLS is very irritable to sensitive skin and this Lumorol K 5229 has this ingredient in it so anyone who has any skin conditions should not use it. Is there another alternative for this product that you might know of that doesn't have any laureth sulfate in it?
Thanks so much for the shout out! Glad you got your hands on a bottle. This stuff keeps selling out fast. People love it!
You are welcome! Yes, it does sell out fast! It is a pretty amazing and versatile ingredient.
Lumorol is available in the USA from Shay and Company and also Dauphine Organics. I'm so eager to try making this.

Can i use Germall Plus in this as well
Germall plus is not a great option in this formula because this formula is oil based.
@SunshineSoapandCandleCompany thanks so best preservative choices
@@lailahsmomshomemadesoapsst8 I like optiphen in this formula best
Why does this oil turn dark after a couple days
@@manifestedkreationz probably sue to your fragrance oil reacting with the surfactants
