You are the reason that me, as a male, started a homemade cosmetics "company" half a year ago. Thank you so much for all the inspiration! I'd never expect to start from a small tutorial on youtube to go on for a full on certification on cosmetics.
This lotion formula is flawless. I just made a batch today, following along with this tutorial and I am so well pleased with the outcome. I had to substitute agar agar for xantham gum and that worked well. I also primarily used aloe vera juice and rose water and for the emollients I used a jojoba body oil blend I had previously scented with an essential oil synergy of honeysuckle, lavender, eucalyptus and lemon. My lotion recipes have failed me until now. Bless you Whole Elise for publishing superb skin and hair care tutorials. Indeed my summer skincare crafting list just grew. Self care elevated.
SO happy you included lists for naturally-derived ingredients. I’m trying to make lotions that I can sell at my farmers market, and the only other natural recipes I’ve found so far require you to keep the lotion in the fridge. Very inconvenient to say the least! So glad your channel exists!! 😍 you’re a lifesaver!
I just used this video as a guide to make my own lotion for the first time ever. I didn't follow step by step because I wanted to expirement and tweak to what I wanted to do when I first thought of doing this. However, this was a great video for guidance! Knocked it out the very first time I tried it. Thank you! The measurements really helped the most for me!
Elise, your videos are scientifically smart, comprehensive, beautifully shot, and soothing to watch. SO many smart branding choices across all levels. Your knowledge and presence is incredible! Thrilled your videos came up in my algorithms. Thank you for sharing1
Hi Elise (love your name - it makes me think of a flower.) I just discovered your RUclips site and I'm very impressed. You share an amazing volume of facts that are valuable to all of us. I would be jealous of your knowledge, but then we all have that opportunity to learn; all we need to do is take advantage of it. So, I have subscribed to your channel and I'm definitely going to look up your website. Thank you so much for giving me, a 73 year old woman, the advantage of learning more. You are a gem!
My dad started to make our own lotions, cremes, shower gels, toner etc in the 80s. But it never looked so esthetically pleasing as in your videos. 💗 I remember him sitting in his little "lab" and mixing the cream cold so it could thicken. That lasted quite a long time like you are saying.
I could listen to you all day. Your voice is so pleasant. Your presentations are so clear and easy to follow. Best I've watched. Thank you for doing these videos.
Ok.. I've been looking for several days the best help to lotion making. And again you have done it! I love watching, listening and learning from you! Thank you!
I love your videos! The quality is just superb! Everything is so well explained. The shots are beautiful. You're speaking is great. Just love it, thank you so much! ♥
Wow! This is so lovely dear. I love the video so much. But, I can't figure out the measurements. Please, can you help me in listing out the measurements? Thanks a lot and God bless you the more.
Thank you so much for all your videos! I am learning so much from you! You are an amazing teacher!! Thank you so much for sharing all your knowledge! Love you creations!!
If we do not want to add aloe vera juice, can we leave it ouy? And will it effect the final product? Or do I add the miss aloe vera with additional water? Thank....
I made this cream a few nights ago and I LOOOOVE it. The texture is great and feels light and smooth. One of the best lotions I have used and I love that I made it. Is it possible to switch out the Emulsifying wax to Ritamuse, Emulsifing NF, or BTMS 50? I only have a tiny bag of Olivem 1000 and I used a lot of it for this recipe.
Is this suitable for face?also is lotion the same as moisturizer?and if yes,can i include niacinamide,HA and ginseng extract into this formula?sorry for lots of asking. Tq!!
Hello Elise, I would love to give this recipe a try but can't find it for the calculation option on your website. Thank you so much for all these beautiful and informative recipes, I'm a single mom trying to create a small business, so thank you. I'm very grateful.
thank you for this video! I'm interested in making my own lotions to sell, so I believe this recipe will be useful for when I make my own. However, if I can't include aloe vera juice, what are some substitutes I could use instead?
