    I really wish I could afford to study with you guys. I've been to webinars however your currency is almost 6x my own. Are there international scholarships?

      Hi Karen, if you want to become a subscriber to the International Journal of Cosmetic Science, the easiest way is to join the UK's Society of Cosmetic Scientists who then send you a copy as part of your membership fees. If you join them and you're a student, we're happy to give you a reference from Formula Botanica. Just get in touch with our student support team at school@formulabotanica.com once you've applied to become a member.

    Are there different formulas to help heal stretch marks for the different reasons a person would have stretch marks such as genetic condition opposed to say a woman having stretch marks because of pregnancy?

    Good morning, can anyone write me down the last ingredient after the grapefruit essential oil, please? I really can't catch it

      It was tocopherol, which is an anti-oxidant and helps to prevent rancidity in oil-based products. :)

      We have a free Masterclass coming up in October, we recommend following along with that if you can. We teach you how to make an eye cream so it's a great place to start if you can't afford to study with us right now. :)

    Hi Lorrain thank you for these information, i also enjoy the green beauty conversation. Thanks a lot. Lorrain I find these oils also wich contains a lot of linoleic acid,like: :INCI:Juglans regia L(Walnut)60%, INCI:Triticum Vulgare ( wheat germ )51%, INCI:Rosa Mosqueta (rosehip) 49.5%, INCI:Cannabis Sativa (Hemp) Seed Oil 60%.
    I find out that a lot of these oils are also sell in EKO shops as cold press food oils. My question is; can we use these EKO/BIO cold press "food" oils in an formulation? Are they the same as the cosmetic oils? Thank you in advance, groetjes, Lila

    • @FormulaBotanicaSchool
      @FormulaBotanicaSchool  6 лет назад

      Hi Lila, cosmetic grade oils are of higher quality than food grade oils because (unless specified by the supplier) they haven't been refined and stripped of their unsaponifiables and compounds that give them their colour and scent. We would always recommend getting cold pressed unrefined oils wherever possible. If the food oils you've found are of that quality, then they would be OK. Groetjes, Lorraine

      Great article, I love grapeseed oil because it is not as greasy as some of the others and as 76% same as evening primrose oil - great news.
