    If it wasn’t for this video I would not have been able to assemble my snow blower because the picture setup guide is awful. Ariens should print the link to this video on the setup guide. Video is very well done. Setup guide is awful. Thank you.

    I picked up my Deluxe 30 EFI from Home Depot still in it's crate. I found assembly to be fairly simple and straight forward. Really not much that needs to be done.

    My ariens platinum 24 efi just shipped today, I would like to see a video of assembly for the platinum line, it would be helpful.

      Thanks for purchasing your new Ariens Platinum! Unfortunately, we my not have a video of that assembly process ready before the end of the season, however, it is extremely similar to the Deluxe-series assembly. The only difference in the setup is that you'll need to connect the wire harness to the EFI battery, and the installation of the chute rotation rod and the chute rotation control (Quick-Turn) lever. The Quick-Turn assembly is illustrated in cells 2-4 through 2-12 in the setup guide for your unit, which we linked here: apache.ariens.com/manuals/05185325.PDF
      If there's anything you can't understand in the setup guide while assembling your unit, please let us know and we'll be happy to help!

    I go to the Ariens site and I see no way to order online, it sends me to my local dealers website. Not sure but am looking at Deluxe 28 sho. Do your dealers do free set-up and delivery? Any information would be appreciated.

    My auger wont stay auto engaged on my 8hp Ariens. When the drive wheels are engaged the impeller should stay locked on like it did when it was new, but it doesnt. Is there a video on how to repair this issue? It hasnt been used very much and it's about 10 years old or so. 1st issue we ever had with it so far it been great.

    And some dealers around here want $40+ for assembly 🤦‍♂️

      Thanks for your comment! Depending on a dealer's hourly service rate, there could be a charge for the time it takes to assemble the machine and ensure it's well adjusted.

    I have model 932050. The fuel sticker on the machine says E10. the person from Lowe's where I bought it said it takes E87 or E10. Is this true ???

    • @AriensChannel
      @AriensChannel  3 года назад

      Thanks for asking, Nick. E10 (10% ethanol blend) is the highest ethanol content you can use in your Sno-Thro. Follow the information on the sticker and in your operator's manual and DO NOT use any ethanol blended fuel greater than 10 percent.
      Though E10 is fine, it is best to use 100% gasoline in small, outdoor power equipment engines.

      @@AriensChannel So is that a "no" for 87 grade from the gas station ?

    • @AriensChannel
      @AriensChannel  3 года назад +1

      @@nickcellini5609 you bring up a good point, Nick. Octane ratings and ethanol content are two different things, so let's clarify.
      Any fuel with an "E" before it signals that fuel is an ethanol-blended gasoline. For example, E10 is 10% ethanol, E30 is 30% ethanol, E85 is 85% ethanol. The maximum percentage of ethanol that's acceptable in a snow blower engine is 10%, meaning E10 is acceptable, but anything above E10 is not.
      Octane rating is different. Typically, gasoline pumps provide options for an octane rating of 87, 90 or 93. Only use gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher - do not use gasoline with an octane rating lower than 87.
      So, in short, only use fuel with a minimum octane rating of 87 which has an ethanol content of 10% or less. This means you may also use gasoline with an octane rating higher than 87, but only if it has an ethanol content of 10% or less.
