Just used my Classic 24 for the first time. Picked Ariens for it's history and reputation , American quality , and it's made in Milwaukee , home of another famous orange and black company that helps me make a lot of noise! LOL! Bought it online from Lowe's. They lied on delivery date , and when it did come in , they emailed me it was ready for pick-up , and couldn't find it when I showed up to get it! But it was worth the wait! Yes , the little needed assembly was easy , and everything else looked very well made and assembled. Oil fill cap could use more thought though. Guys with thick fingers can use pliers. Started right up. WOW! What a beast. We got about 5-6in today. I can throw snow over the fence into my neighbors yard , and from my sidewalk clear across the street , over the cars and onto that side's walk. Well done Ariens! Now for some black flames , or scallops , with silver pinstripe outlines!
Putting this together right now, but having trouble Inserting the chute rotation rod into the gear hub (shown at 5:30). Should I need to WD-40 this before insertion?
Just put my Classic 24" (ST24E) blower together and I have a question. The shift rod hard hardware on my machine is different than in the video. I have a single rod that attaches to the shift selector to the transmission that was not pre-attached to the unit (diagram 2-1 & 2-2 in the assembly instructions). As I face the back of the machine should the cotter pin on the lower end be facing me or the machine?
It would be nice if Ariens had responded to you. I'm having the same issue. It doesn't seem to want to line up. Did you happen to figure this out on your own?
@@London755 I also hit up their online email support form. The answer was that it can be installed from either side. Before I received the reply I had an attack of good sense and went to Lowes to see how they installed them. They did it both ways.
Appreciate this video I just picked one up at Lowe’s. Just to clarify does this model only have that small oil fil on the bottom of right side of machine? Also my keys don’t turn at all when inside the ignition isn’t it suppose to turn clockwise in the run position and then off when not in use? Thank you in advance
Thanks for your purchase, and welcome to the Ariens family! If you have model number 920025 (which we are assuming), you are correct that the black cap on the lower right of the engine is your oil fill location. Additionally, this model is equipped with a key that does not rotate. If the key is inserted, the engine will start when primed, choked and started with either the rope or the electric start feature. To stop the engine, simply remove the key. The engine will not start with the key removed.
@@AriensChannel I just purchased the Ariens Compact 920033. I would like to see a video about filling the oil. Is it true that you fill the oil from that little dip stick in the side? Do we have to turn the blower on it's side to do this? Thanks

I recently purchased a 920025 and I have two metal rods but I don't have any hardware. The video said I would need to loosen the hardware from the upper to the lower handle bar assembly, but I didn't have to do that because they weren't there. What am I missing?

Though we don't have those dimensions in front of us right now (we're tracking them down from our packaging engineer and will supply them shortly), we have a couple thoughts on that: The bottom of the corrugate is stapled to the pallet. And without the pallet, there's no support for the machine inside - the machine would bust through the bottom of the crate. And though we don't have those dimensions in front of us, we're almost certain the crate is too big to fit inside your vehicle. Though we suggest against attempting to transport a crated Sno-Thro on your own, you'll be glad to know that our Ariens dealers and partners at Lowe's have delivery options! UPDATE: According to our engineer, the crate with the pallet is 35" high x 48" long x 27.5" wide. Though that probably won't fit in your vehicle, he did say that if you'd actually uncrate the entire unit and leave the handlebars folded in their shipping position, you'd lower the overall height to about 29 inches.

How many keys come with the ariens 24lt classic
Just bought one. My deflector chord does not have a rubber boot on the cable. Is that normal?

Dimensions of box without pallet would be helpful in knowing if it can fit in certain vehicles. I have a 2020 Ford Escape.
