It sounds fine on my phone at 35ish%. Also sounds fine on my desktop, but it is a little lower than I want. Strange, I'll keep it in mind for the next video.
Unironically I love the way this thing looks. If someone were to make a high quality version of this I'd definitely buy. I don't even care about the folding feature either.
Was out yesterday with a few friends, one just picked up one of these. I have a PC9 out for the day too, but this was great fun. I love my PC9, with upgrades, but think Imight have to grab one of these too. I agree on every point you made, its the weight and the hand guard that seemed to make it so fun.
I don't have 95% of the guns I've reviewed. I buy a gun, review it, and then sell it. I wish I could afford to keep everything, but that's just not possible rn.
@ethan4970 Regret, no. I used the money to make more videos. But wish I could have kept, definitely. I really loved the CZ 600 Trail. I may buy another one in the future. I also really liked the Raven (9 and 5.56).
Thanks as usual for your review work, it's quite appreciated! Would it be possible to increase your microphone volume? I've noticed that your voice volume is noticeably quieter than other videos.
Have you tried the Ruger PC carbine? It's superior by every conceivable metric except for price and weight. Unless you're super concerned about weight (portaging?), I can't see why you wouldn't just cough up a couple hundred more for the Ruger. Great video (minus the low audio level), I liked how you gave both the pros and cons from a uniquely Canadian perspective. Cheers!
I haven't yet, but of course it's a way better rifle. But the price is a significant difference. When you take into account tax, you're looking at at least $350 more. As much as $450 if you want the better handguard. Especially in Canada's economic situation right now. That's potentially a big ask for a lot of people. I think this is a perfect starter PCC that one can use while they save up money for a higher end PCC.
Well I'm glad to see that Keltec stopped their coke bender long enough to think "Hey... What if someone puts a dot on it?" but I'd say they still took the wrong approach by making it twist, they should have just done a side folder. As for a grip, I think the only thing that would really work to keep it kinda slim is like a Magpul AFG or similar design but I've noticed your fondness for the Fortis. Your gun, your style. I really don't think there are any real good survival guns in Canada. Our laws mean compact isn't really compact if you want semi-auto, and I'm not gonna be the guy to test my luck against a angry grizzly or a moose with 9mm or under when there are other far more effective options. The only good option I can thing of that also is a backpack gun would be maybe a Henry Mare's Leg, maybe a Mossberg shockwave 🤷♂
Ya, the Fortis grip is just perfect for how I like to hold rifles. That's why I use it on pretty much everything lol. I fully agree. Survival rifles in Canada can't be as good as the US because of laws. It's a shame.
@@BigBabyGaming100 you definitely need a riser for this. The hinge would be in the way of the sight picture and the inline stock would make getting behind a pistol dot difficult anyway.
It's an awesome gun. It's the favourite and go to of my PCCs. I always take it to the range with me. Pretty well everyone who has tried it ends up buying one. I have the FX-9, Sub2000 (gen 2 and gen 3), PC9, S&W FPC, and a couple of others I can't remember.
Sound is very low!

Sounds alright to me, but yeah a bit on the quiet side.

Me too actually. An aluminum version would be fascinating.

you should do a collection tour of all your guns

@@bats8888 Is there any gun you regret selling or want to buy again or one you kept because you really like it?

@@bats8888 do you lose alot of value when you resell the guns? or do you break even usually
Depends on the gun and if I got it on sale. I'd say if you take everything I've bought and sold together, I'm at a slight loss.
Thanks as usual for your review work, it's quite appreciated! Would it be possible to increase your microphone volume? I've noticed that your voice volume is noticeably quieter than other videos.
Yes, I will fix that for the next video
@@bats8888 Thank you!
Did you know the handguard will rotate on the relatively stationary barrel? Questionable zeroing in the long term.
Good to know

Chose a M&P FPC over the Sub2000. Had it for 2 month now. No regrets
I think i remeber you live or lived in Ontario, Im currently looking for somewhere to shoot do you have any recommendations?
Nope, never lived in Ontario. I used to live in Victoria, BC. Now I'm in Calgary.
What?!? No hockey tape!
I'm sorry to disappoint :(
Next one will have hockey tape!
Folding irons or a pistol sized red dot ??? You don’t need a riser

where can i find that front grip?
From Fortis's website or just search for Fortis Shift airsoft version

Haven't tried one yet. But from what I have seen, good value if you can find one in the low $1k range.

Canada has lots of guns, despite what the left-wing people here and abroad like to think.
