I love the spec on this car - Let's in so much more light, over often black interiors. In an obstensibly cramped cabin that's really significant. By the way, great video, photography really smooth & sharp - all helps to appreciate how you're bringing this car to us - good job man!
I'm only 10 seconds in and wanna say thank you so much for doing a review on this car. I freaking love this car so much and wanna hear as much about it as I can.
You guys make some of the best car vids on YT and it amazes me that you do not get more views? You certainly deserve a lot more hits for your great work. Best regards from the UK
Great review. Never seen your channel before. I am fortunate enough to own one of these wonderful cars, and you described how I feel about being in it. I came out of a V12 s (which I loved, noise etc), and although I was exited and enthusiastic when I did the trade in, I did wonder if I had done the right thing. I had !!,,. My neighbour is happy too, it’s a lot quieter than the V12. As an owner since September 2018, I could not have described the car any better, technically or emotionally. Great job. Thanks from the UK.
I love this thing... it's not as classically beautiful to me as the previous vantage (mostly b/c of how the grill/nose look) but man what a stunning looking car (especially that rear 3/4). And sounds awesome, as an Aston should, and finally the interior matches the amazingness of the exterior. Keep up the good stuff Jeff! btw the youtube comment pod was hilarious... but sad that there are that many morons in the world with access to the internet.
Wish the infotainment system was up-to-date and not AMG's last version. Front lights - ugh. Get the quad exhaust option. No glove compartment! - c'mon AM. If you "want to look good and be comfortable" you might want adaptive cruise control - won't get it on this car. Glad you are an admitted die-hard AM fan because you need to be to live with the shortcomings. For a little extra I would take a McLaren 570S, but, to each his own. Did I mention soft-close doors are not available and tires are narrower than 911? (Well you did say you just wanted to be comfortable, correct!?)
As an ex 570S owner who just changed his 991 Turbo 991.2 for a Vantage, I’m in a good position to comment on this car. It’s epic. Not as quick as either of my last 2 but it makes me feel the happiest. It’s a joy to live with, blast up a country road or relax into if you just want to cruise. The 911 was cold, fast but no emotion at all. The 570S build quality is shocking and at 12 months old required 4 new panels due to a corrosion problem. McLaren did not seem to think this was a big deal, I did. Fast but otherwise flawed. Each time I park up my Vantage I always turn around and look at it as I walk away. I smile every time I start it, something the 911 just couldn’t do. I agree with the reviewers opinion on this fabulous new Aston. It’s the best of British.
Other thoughts, can you see this holding it's money OK like previous Aston's or do you think it's lost too much of that "handbuilt" feel and will depreciate like any other AMG GT or F Type (which lets be honest aren't worth a carrot after 3 years or so) I also miss the old cockpit. Other than that I love the sound of it and like the look of it just a few things that don't sit well with me
Aaaaaaah that f'in satnav screen though, makes the car look about 10 years old. Honestly why car companies don't have them at least folding away or something so their cars still look desirable in 20 years time. Rolls Royce, Bentley the BMW Z8 all have the nav behind a panel and they look soooooo much better for it. Honestly, that thing with it's big plastic edges just looks horrendous. It's a shame because the rest of the car looks ace. Just wish they'd used a DCT box not the ZF :P
Not to nic pic but that vantage writing on the seat headrest is so wack on a $185k car who needs to be told what it is they should know ...then again it looks like an old style Miata from the front so that may be why? however , that car in a convertible , would be the joint .
Which old Miata exactly? All of them has a pretty tiny "mouth" of a grille in the center of the front bodywork. Not one of them has had a massive GT3/GTE car style mesh grille with splitter, not stock anyway. Miatas have always had a "friendly" look. The NC has sort of similar headlights I guess, but they're much closer together and much less tapered, and the whole car is much narrower. What this really looks like almost exactly is a miniature version of the Aston Martin Vulcan, the problem is it seems like not enough people watching these videos have ever seen a Vulcan. I mean, look at the Vulcan, and look at an NC or any other generation of Miata, which one is more of a stretch to say it's similar? topalwaysdown.files.wordpress.com/2012/06/ag_07miata_frontright_td.jpg i.amz.mshcdn.com/rHJIULjSYCBIvw3IZxt4HH3cwrI=/950x534/filters:quality(90)/2016%2F01%2F28%2F18%2FAstonMartin.2ccc6.png

This guy was born to review cars. Natural

I don't hate the front, but man, that is one gorgeous rear-end 😍
Nail on the head... A great car is about more than just speed and lap times - it's about how it makes you feel!!

I'm more of a DB11 touring kind of guy. But holy shit this is amazing. Excellent vid, Jeff!
Beautiful colour both interior and exterior.
I love the look of the different shapes steering wheel. How does it feel while driving?????
You're great at reviewing vehicles!
What about a f type with all that power and rawness of that engine and exhaust note?
Stunning car. I must have one.😍

Would you pick this over the NSX?
Awesome! Thanks for the closeup peek.
However, the Vulcan, One-77 and incoming Valkyrie would like a word with you about the video title ;-)
I'm not counting ultra low volume examples that you'll never see in your life...
This guy is great
You don't think the DB11 or the Vanquish is just as good? Can you explain further?
I just wish they had an option to spec' it with Comfort/Sport/Sport+ as opposed to only Sport-Track!
One issue
exhaust pipe size
Love your vid! But what song did you use in your intro and outro, i dig it! Greetings from socal 😁
Faded by Ooyy (We're in SoCal too...)

Pictures don't do it justice it looks epic on the road

Well I’ve actually seen a Vanquish Zagato and it wasn’t a Goodwood. Just saying ....
I think he likes the car.

And for $180k you even get bumperettes. OMG! lol

It looks like a Miata from the front
Boolin ; fuck off
They still look like ND Miatas from the front
brandon maxwell ; fuck off
I think you need to look at them side by side, because I mean they really do not, least of all the ND.
Wheels are ugly and color is okay. Unfortunately, just like every other Aston it will depreciate very quickly!
Old Vantage was much better looking as were the old DBs. They screwed up and made a Miata front for a Aston.
Paul M ; fuck off
That’s a dirty sound...
This car should be 100% English. Not 50% English and 50% German.
